I returned these. They made my feet hurt and gave me blisters, even after a very short run. I found them to be a lot wider than the previous model, and my feet felt like they were sliding around. The cushioning is also positioned differently and caused pain in my arches.

I don't understand. I own this shoe in size 9 (EUR 42.5, Wide 2E), a bit roomy but OK. I just purchased a very similar looking Ghost, but size 10 (EUR 42, WIde D), and it is much too wide. Why the discrepancy in sizing?

I normally wear a 6.5, ordered a 7 to have more room. And they fit snug. I have loved the Brooks Ghost models of the past and got these specifically because they were 10/10 on the 2025 list for plantar fasciitis sufferers! Really disappointed. Although the heel area is comfortable, there really isn’t enough arch support and the bottoms of the front portion of the shoes feel very hard.
I’ve worn these on 3 separate walks, minimum 30 mins and maximum 1 hour. My feet are sore again! I dare not try and use these for running!
Back to searching, feel like I just threw away money :(

This is probably the 10th pair of Brooks I've purchased, and most have been Ghosts, and the fit was all off. I purchased the same size as always and it is so much tighter. I have been trying to keep running to see if maybe they'll stretch with some wear..but after today's toe blister (something that has never happened with my previous pairs)I'm done. I'm not giving up on Brooks - but I'm also not going to make another online purchase. I'll go to the store to make sure they actually fit first.

I wanted to love these since I love my ghost max 2. But the ghost 16 makes my feet tilt inward and causes pain. I had to return them and will keep looking for a more comfortable shoe that helps me walk correctly.

I was super disappointed as I had been told these were excellent for walking. I have been using Hoka Bondi 8 sneakers wide and although these sneakers are very nice to look at, they run way too narrow. I ordered 9-1/2 wide. I probably will have to return them as I called your customer service yesterday and I can not get Extra Wide as they have discontinued this style. It is unfortunate as I am not willing to pay an additional $50 for your newer version.

I was disappointed in the Ghost 16. I own 3 pairs of the previous versions, Ghost 14 and 15. Those fit me fine and I have both size 11.5M and 12M in them. The Ghost 16 ran very short in the length. I wanted to stock up on the Ghost since Brooks has changed the design and added the rigid "pull tab" to the back of the shoe. When my Ghost 14 and 15 pairs need to be replaced, I will not be purchasing the newer version of the Ghost.

I had a previous version of this shoe and this new version has given me endless blisters on my toes. They must have changed the design, but I do NOT recommend this for running/walking

I LOVED my Ghost 15s, but these feel like a completely different shoe. I got the exact same size and they are all of a sudden tight around my heal, and way too roomy around the toes. Very strange. The build and fabric also don't feel the same and I think my previous Ghosts were more cushioned... Please go back to the winning combo you had before Brooks!

Terrible fit compared to the Ghost 15s. It's has a hard toe box in the front that feels like stiff cardboard when I walk. Sad thing is, I loved the 15s so much and assumed these would be similar, so I would get 2 pairs not thinking the version changed this much. I have owned several Brooks ghosts versions since you have came out with them. The 14s were spot on. PLEASE QUIT CHANGING THEM!! And if you are going to change them, consider allowing your loyal customers to continue to purchase the SAME version year after year on your website instead of making them unavailable year after year.

Awful! After 10 runs I had to return. I'm not sure if they're made smaller now but they are not comfortable. Hurt my feet so bad. They made blisters and hot spots that I'd never had before. And my new ones are hurting just as bad. What's happening?!

I have been wearing these shoes for years and have loved them. I bought 2 pairs recently and they don't even feel like the same shoe. Very uncomfortable, even the fabric feels different. I will have to find a new brand.

Got the same size, 8 US that I always wear in Brooks and this pair was too small. When compared to my last pair, they are actually shorter. I returned.

They look nice, but they are not comfortable. They have no cushioning and I do not like that. They added the DNA logo to the outside. I've been wearing Brooks for years and these are the worst ones that I've seen yet. It's like the quality just isn't there anymore.

I've been wearing Brooks shoes for many years, the Ghost since at least the Ghost 11. I have narrow feet, and so Brooks have always been a great shoe, until the Ghost 16. The narrow is so wide, no matter how tightly I lace it up, my feet are swimming, and I get blisters and serious discomfort. So very disappointed.

I'm a 7.5 Narrow, but normally take an 8.5N to 9N in running shoes. These 9N were so short, I couldn't imagine a jog in them.
