Brooks are my go-to shoe for the gym, walking, running and my life outside of work. I love that they are supportive, come in a variety of styles, shapes and colors to fit various athletic needs, feet, gaits and styles. The Brooks Ghost 16 are lightweight, come in fun colors, and add a spring to my step. I feel lighter when I walk and run and as a woman with large feet, I love that I can get more traditionally feminine and fun colors in larger sizes. I wear a men's 10.5 or women's 11.5W in most shoes or a men's 10.5 or women's 12 in Brooks. I always focus on how big a pair of shoes makes my already large feet look. I was pleasantly surprised that despite being in a light color, my feet don't look huge in these shoes. Plus there is some pink and purple, colors I rarely get the chance to wear in a sneaker. I have a bunion on my left foot which requires I wear supportive, quality shoes with arch support and a wider toe box. My podiatrist originally recommended Brooks. After visiting a shoe store that helps you select a shoe based on how you walk and your feedback on fit, I ended up in the Brooks Dyad 10 and have been wearing Brooks ever since. The Ghost 16 has a similar fit on me to the Dyad but is more flexible, light and springy. The toe box has ample space for my toes to feel comfortable. The shoe base is the same width but the actual toe box is a few millimeters narrower due to the sole shape. The shoe uppers are soft and breathable (maybe not ideal for winter's cold), the backs are firm yet comfortable. I workout 4 days per week lifting weights followed by a walk and/or run. Due to the season and having young kids, I'm constrained to the treadmill for now. My gait feels easier and my landing feels softer in the Ghost 16. The sound of my feet hitting the treadmill is also much softer which I appreciate in the gym. Both the Ghost and Dyad are neutral support. There is some arch support but it is only right at the inner edge. I need firm arch support to extend further in towards the middle of my foot so I did try adding my non-prescription orthotic inserts to improve my comfort and maintain the support recommended by my podiatrist (she recommends I have an extra insole in any sneaker but stressed that I need to start with a quality sneaker base). They fit will in the shoe well without detracting from the cushioning of the soles. These will be added to my Brooks gym and weekend rotation.

After trying the Brooks Ghost 16 shoes for a bit, there are a lot of things I have come to appreciate about these shoes, but in the end I have just not fallen in love with them. I appreciate that they are lightweight, have a wide toe box and are stylish in color. As someone with wide feet, I like that my toes are not squished together. Upon initial use, the Ghost 16 shoes seemed comfortable but the more I have used them the more I just dont love them. The main reason is that the padding in the heels makes my ankles roll outward. For someone struggling with pronating and rolling their ankles inward, this might be a great solution for them. Since I do not struggle with that, this extra padding really irrigates my feet. Second to this is that the shoes are very bulky. As much as I appreciate the wide toe box, there is a lot of extra sole on these shoes, especially around the toes, that makes them bulkier than seems necessary. While this shoe may not be my go to shoe for a run, I would say it makes a great backup or recovery run shoe and that's what i'll be using it as going forward.

I have larger(11)/slightly wider feet in the toe area and these shoes fit me really well. I've been using these for short runs and long walks on a walking path. I also used them for 25K steps at Disney. Shoes have held up well and no discomfort in my feet. I would highly recommend for a casual runner like myself! The style is also nice as well. Not too flashy with some style!!

Completely supportive straight out of the box. I love that I can trust the dependability of the Ghost year after year, and the Ghost 16s provided the same reliable comfort. I trusted them straight out of the box on race day, and they did not disappoint. Love the gorgeous colors, too!

I had to return them and go back to my Ghost 15 and get them in wide. I will try again with wide Ghost 16. Love Brooks shoes, though

After a 2 months with these, can confirm they're my favorite version of the ghosts. Super comfy with just the right amount of cushion, and roomy in the toe area which feels great during long runs. Definitely recommend.

These are my new favorite shoes! I have always loved Brooks but these bring a new level of comfort. These shoes fit comfortably snug and run true to size. They provide all day comfort when at work or outside running. They provide a comfortable support while wearing. I have received many compliments on the color and look of the shoes. I love the colors and design myself and find that they go with everything. The fabric is very comfortable and breathable. Overall, my favorite part about these shoes is the comfort and the look. These are my new favorite shoes and I want a pair in every color!

Im on my feet for most of the day with either work or exercise, so finding a comfortable pair of shoes is very important to me. When running, I need shoes that offer a lot of cushioning and comfort to my feet. When wearing the Brooks Ghost 16 running shoes I have been thoroughly impressed with how comfortable and supportive they are. The nitrogen injected foam cushioning gives the shoes an added boost of comfort, which I greatly appreciate! The shoes have the perfect width for my feet and fit comfortably all around. I really enjoy the design and color combination as well. I am very pleased with these shoes and they have become my new go to running shoes.

These shoes are wonderful and well designed. This shoe is one of the most comfortable and well-fitting uppers Ive ever tried and I find them to be amazing. They are plush but not too plush to the point where your foot could slide around. They give you a wonderfully grip and boost with each step. They provide structure and stretch while being breathable. I love the color combination and how the colors blend on the shoe. The laces stay tied properly and the top of the shoe is the perfect height. I would definitely recommend these shoes and they are perfect for every day use.

When I first saw these I wasn't sure about them but once I got them on I was pleasantly surprised. The shoe fits true ro size with no rubbing or squeezing and the sole is insanely comfortable. After wearing them all day trying a variety of activities they stayed comfortable, like walking on a cloud. They're insanely squishy while keeping me very steady and are very breathable. My only two gripes are that the fabric is extremely breathable which is great in warm weather but when in the outdoor wind I feel every winter gust right into the shoe and I wish they came in a full black option. The colors are cute, but I'd like a plain black or less flashy option. White shows everything.

I was so excited to get my pre-ordered Ghost 16s. I am so appreciative that the new shoes come in a decent, colorful option in the wides. (Normally there are only plain, dull colors for those of us who have to order wide shoes.) What's the purpose of the design on the back of the heel? It seems bulky for no apparent reason. Other that that "triangle", the color and "look" of the shoe are great. However, upon wearing the Ghost 16, my excitement has gone down. The toe box is quite roomy. When the shoe flexes, the shoe sort of crinkles at the end of the internal reinforcement. See photo of the shoe flexing. This isn't very comfortable across the outside of my pinky toe. After running in them, I decided to just spend time in them walking around. That is better (not flexing as much I'd guess), but I purchased them to be running shoes. I'm not sure if I should try a pair of normal width shoes. I have worn Ghosts for years, and they've always been kind to my irritable toes. I'll be sad if these can't be in my regular rotation of shoes.

Please consider expanding the Ghost 16 womens wide size into more colors. The feedback from social media indicates that there is large demand from women ( including myself) that need the wider toebox. Thank you the consideration!

I have worn them two days and it seems like the upper part of the foot is a little more roomy than the 15. I do like that. The heel seems to be a little more cushioned as well because I work in them.

Perfect for a 12 hr day! As a nurse, Brooks have and will always be my go to shoes. I love all my Brooks, but out of all the Brooks that I wear, Ghost 15, Adrenaline, Cascadia, etc. these ones are my new fav!

I love the Ghost 16. They are comfortable. The cushioning and support are great. The toe box seems to be a little wider, which I like. I don't have any negative comments on this sneaker. I rotate between Ghost 16 and Ghost Max.

Ghost shoes are the best. They are comfortable, wear well, and fit well. Love that they fit the same from year to year, which isnt always the case; this makes it easy to feel comfortable ordering them online.

Was so looking forward to getting in early on pre-order for this shoe - only to be frustrated that even at this early stage, you only offer one color in my narrow width size. I used to be able to count on finding narrow width shoes from Brooks, but the options have been pared back the last couple years.

I am not a big fan at all. Im actually shipping them back. They dont have the cushion in the feel of the previous ghost. I actually walked in them and my feet hurt afterwards if it just a more solid base, then the previous ghost.

I purchased these for my granddaughter and she absolutely loves them. She said they put a bounce in her step. Hoping in the near future she is able to get a pair of sneakers in vibrant pink in her size. I explained to her that a lot of colors dont come in xx wide. Maybe someday. Thank you.

Love the off white with color - great to have a wide shoe in something other than black or navy (previous owned)! I'm neutral on my left with a high instep. However, my right foot is a bit supinated and I feel like I'm rolling out, especially from midfoot back. I have a much older and overused ghost (now my garden shoe) although all cushion is gone, it doesn't roll. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the fit - length, width, and heel snug. (Brooks 10.5 W, for comparison I wear 9.5W - 10W in Clark street shoes) I'm not sure whether to keep or try another model. This will be my third Ghost.
