I bought these a couple months ago and they have already lost a lot of the support/padding. When I first got them I thought they were amazing but within 3 weeks I started having foot and low back pain again. I'm a nurse and work 3 12hr shifts a week. I wear these 2 of those 12s and again they already feel worn out. I have a pair of Brooks Cadence I've had since like 2010-11 (no longer produced) and the Ghost 16 already feels like those old shoes. I'm so sad because they were amazingly comfortable back then as were these initially. The quality of Brooks no longer seems the same as it once was. I do suggest sizing up a half size.

I own a pair of brooks (a different model), which are my most comfortable shoes, and wanted to order another one. Unfortunately, I had to return these shoes because they ran extremely small.

Brooks Ghost 16 Review I had high hopes for the Ghost 16, especially given the price point and Brooks' reputation for comfort. There are definitely some positivesthe cushioning is excellent, especially for long walks or extended wear. It has that soft, supportive feel that helps reduce foot fatigue. However, there were a couple of design issues that really affected my overall comfort. The padding on the back of the heel comes up unusually high on my ankle and rubs constantly, even with higher socks. Also, the insole seems to slope inward, almost like it's forcing my foot toward the center of the shoe, which becomes uncomfortable over time. Overall, it's a decent shoe with great cushioning, but for the price, I expected a more dialed-in fit and comfort. I'd recommend trying them on and walking around before committing, especially if you have sensitive ankles or prefer a more neutral footbed.

I liked the look of the shoe, but they were very uncomfortable. The arch wasn't in the right place. The shoes have been returned.

I'm not happy that these shoes run smaller than my other Brooks. My last five purchases for running/ walking shoes have been strictly Brooks, but I'm going to purchase other brands if I can't rely on the different model of shoes to fit the same.

For some reason, this pair of Ghost is really stiff? I'm on my 5th pair? I'll never order online for running shoesyou need to try them out.

I love the way these shoes feel sole wise, everytime I put them on I feel like they're wanting to help me run. They're lightweight and easy to move. However, they are HOT, specifically around the heel and I feel as though they come up too high. My ankle hits/rubs against the outside edge and, although I have not gotten a blister, it is quite annoying.

I love Brooks. I have run in Glycerin for years. I decided to give the Ghost a try. I was disappointed. Just personal preference. The Ghost feels stiff all the way around, runs a little big, and did not feel to have as much support.

Too high off the ground. Massively thick sole. Turn your ankle sort of heel. Would probably be great if you're used to hokas, though.

The treads have not held up on these at all. I’m not a huge runner and I’m not wearing them all the time, but the treads in the midsole are complete worn away in just 4 months. I’m still wearing them for the gym but omg.

I've worn the Ghost shoe for years, and this is this first pair I've been disappointed with. I've had my Ghost 16s for about 6 months, wear them one day a week for work, and they are in worse condition than the Ghost 10s that I still wear to mow my lawn! I am on concrete all day and I do find them comfortable and supportive. The fabric around the toe, however, is deeply creased, rubs the tops of my toes and won't go back into shape. The creases appeared in the first month. This style has always been in my rotation, but may rethink it if the 17s still have the same type of fabric

I wear a size 10 in the Ghost 15. I feel that the Ghost 16 run a little small. As for comfort, I prefer a little more cushion in the shoes. After wearing for a few minutes, they are hard on the bottom of my foot and I’m concerned that they won’t be comfortable. I loved the Ghost 15 and had 3 pairs.

The fit is narrowing and my toe is up against the end of my shoe. Why does all the brooks I have fit different ? My shoe size has been the same for 40 years

I have had previously worn Ghost 14 but they have changed the fit. Usually wear a 10.5 and this time they were 1/2 inch longer and narrower. But going down to a 10 would have been too narrow. The front toe box just not as wide as it used to be. And the forefront feels like less padding than before. So sadly they had to go back.

I haven't had Ghost since Ghost 13 which I loved. Ghost 16 however felt like there was no cushion or give right under the toes. Rest of the shoe was fine.

They have been returned. They made the soles of my feet uncomfortably hot. Other than that they were soft ,cushioned well. Support was ok.
