These aren't my favorite Ghost model, and I had a similar issue with the 14s. When I'm running there's some discomfort in my knees and a heavy feeling to my legs - I can't exactly describe it. It's not so bad that I'm going to quit wearing them, but I did prefer the 15s (and 13s, etc.) .

This is my second pair of Ghost. I love my first pair. It was a nice looking shoe. I didn't know that the sizes run smaller, so I bought this pair half size larger and it is roomy. I am not crazy about the design of the limited edition I bought. I actually think is a bit ugly. The heel feels low.

I've been buying these for a while, but this time I notice a slight difference in the fit. I have a high arch and I've had to make some adjustments in leasing and socks in order for these to feel comfortable. Perhaps the tongue is thicker? Not sure what it is, but I'm not liking them as well.

Laces are horrible. Very stretchy and after two runs began to fray. Had to change them out with laces of an old pair of Ghost 15s as I was afraid they'd break in my upcoming half. Rest of shoe seems fine. If we could only get more colors in wide!

I really like the Ghost 15 better. I had a hard time getting one of my feet not to hurt with the Ghost 16. I had to keep readjusting the laces to make them comfortable. Didn't have to do that with the Ghost 15.

This is my fourth pair of ghost sneakers. I have loved the 13, 14, and 15 but the 16 seems smaller /tighter in size even though i ordered the same size as before. It also seems to have a thicker sole which makes for less of a natural feel than the previous versions. Still a good running shoe and glad it is offered in wide with but doesn't seem to fit as previous models !

These shoes have good support and are comfortable. However, for the cost I think Brooks should have put complimentary colored shoestrings on them for an improved look. Now I'm spending extra to buy new periwinkle colored strings so my shoes will pop!!

The ghosts are my go-to for everything from recovery to Marathon's but for some reason my toes are rubbing in the toe box on the 16's. I've had every version since the 10's and this is the first time I've experienced this. Other than that I love them as usual. But a bit smaller fit in toe box.

I have been wearing Ghost since Ghost 13 when I was fitted at Runner's High in Miami. I wish the newer shoes used the same shoe strings! The new Ghost 16 has a "tongue" issue. It crimps when I put the shoe on and I have to keep straightening it. My older shoes do not do that. I thought you should know that and that is why I didn't give the shoes a 5 star rating this time. I love your shoes though and the fit is great for my wide feet.

These new ghosts were too narrow for me. I started with the ghost 13 and it was much roomier. The toe box doesn't work for me in this iteration, but I technically don't have a wide foot. Going to try the glycerine.

I've been an avid Ghost buyer for years. I don't feel this version is as supportive and fits the same.

I've been a Brooks junkie for years! I always want a break in period of 10-15 miles. I feel the forefoot construction has decreased. I also felt a midfoot snugness so I adjusted laces which seemed to help. These will work for my reentry to running but I'm thinking I may go back to Ghost Max for higher miles.

I've been wearing the Ghosts for several years now. I'm a nurse, and the Ghosts allow me to complete a 12-plus hour shift without pain. Until the 16s, that is. They don't seem to have as much padding as the previous versions. It's a minimal change, but made a difference to me. Of course, if you're using your own orthotics, this won't matter. I've returned them and bought a pair of the Ghost Max instead. As far as size goes, I wear a 7 in dress shoes and an 8 in running shoes. This holds true for Brooks. Every pair I've ever bought has been comfortable right out of the box, no break-in needed.

The shoes worked well with my orthotics. I need wide shoes and this is the first time in a couple of years that I had a choice that wasn't only black. Would love more color options. Comfortable shoes.

The shoes is really comfortable and I like it. I wish there were better color options though for wide shoes. This was the best in wide though it's not my favorite.

I think the Ghost 16 is slightly roomier in the toe area. It does feel to me, however that there is more cushion. I myself prefer the slightly more snug toe area of Ghost 15. But I do like the extra cushion of Ghost 15.
