I was a little disappointed when I first put these on. This is my 3rd pair of the Ghosts and this one didn't seem the same somehow... Different materials or something... Not as immediately comfortable. But they do feel good when running. Good shock absorption.

Great shoe, love the color and the support. Very comfortable. I felt the back of the shoe is a little too low. It doesn't feel like its going to slip off or anything, just seems lower than my old pair of brooks that I am used to.

I like the shoes but the laces untie too easily.

I love the color and they are very comfortable on a run. The mesh over the big toe immediately frays. This happens with all my Brooks running shoes.

Very comfortable with a nice cushion feel as well as good stability. Very comfortable. My only negative is that, the sizing seems to have changed in the past year or so. These seem to run a bit smaller so I wish I had gone up a half size.

This is a pretty good running shoe. It has great heel and arch support for my foot. The cushion is nice and getting 2 sets of laces was a nice surprise. However, they do have to be broken in. My right foot is a little wider than my left foot, so I did get some blisters on my first 10 mile run in them. Other than that, the material seems to be high quality and the return policy is generous. I would rather have tried them on in person as opposed to just ordering one of Runner's World favorite all-time shoes. I think you have to consider your own feet. I would buy from Brooks again but maybe not this model.

Solid shoe, nothing special. Less cushioned than my other Brooks.

I am usually a fan of Brooks Ghost shoes, my last 5 pairs have all been Ghost and I had very little to zero issues with injuries/foot pain. However, the Ghost 16 are not my favorite. Usually I can get 500 miles out of each pair, but I'm finding that I am needing to replace my 16's around 300 miles. Still a Brooks fan, but hoping the next ones will be closer to the quality of previous Ghosts.

I like the firmness on landing

I'm so glad that Brooks sells these shoes in narrow 2A and I really like the navy/pink color! They are the best sneakers I can find for my narrow and sensitive feet. Unfortunately the toe box is wider on these than in my ghost 15s and my toes have a bit too much space. Otherwise they fit great and I can live with that.

I will have to let the Ghost series go. My feet have changed over the years and the fit has become to snug. I did love the color choices and look of the shoe.

Comfortable brooks shoe from a nurse who works 12 hour shifts. Prior to this pair I have only worn the ghost 14. I would say these have a softer but more supportive insole. Negative is the sides where the fabric/ mesh is bows out when I'm standing/ walking in them

These are so cute, fit true to size, but my feet hurt after a 12 hr shift. So bummed. Still looking for THAT shoe!

Very comfortable and supportive. Nice roomy toe box. I am a walker, not a runner but I've worn Brooks since Ghost 12.

I do like these sneakers. However, I would reconfigure the tongue. Instead of having a regular shape, it has angled sides. When walking for a period of time I found the right side top of my foot became irritated. I would go back to keeping the tongue standard as with your older styles. Also they take a little time to break in. My older blue Ghost didn't need any time to break in. They were comfortable at day one. Those who haven't had these Brooks sneakers might go up a size. I took an 8. My Sketchers a 61/2. They are nice looking and getting broken in. So as time wears on, we shall see if they get as comfortable as my older ones.

Overall, in the beginning, I loved this shoe! Perfect width for me and very comfortable. I did get wear with this shoe that I've never had with any other shoe on the upper heel area of both. My previous pair of ghost didnt have that issue, or even a past glycerin. Very strange.

It's lightweight but not really springy or cushy.

I've been wearing Brooks for about 12 years because I love them so much more than other brands. I've noticed a change in the fit of the Ghost so I had to size down. After trying out two sizes I found ordering a narrow width for the Ghost 16 was the right way to go.
