Great shoes. I love the arch support better than the Ghost15. Absolutely worth buying. I enjoy the overall cushioning, shape and style. *** Just a heads up it runs smaller than usual. ** I usually wear an 8 and will be re ordering in a size 8.5. It is snugger and I'm a thin footed, petite person.

I have always loved Brooks shoes. Butthe laces have become shorter and harder to stay tied. Why are they shorter? I'd also like to see the toe area fabric better to withstand "big toe holes"! They are very comfortable, lightweight and supportive.

They are technically wide enough, but my big toe rubs the edge while my small toe is far from the edge. Comfortable otherwise..

I've been wearing these for a couple weeks and thought it was just me but I think they are too small. My toes hurt when I wear them. Other than that, I love them. I'll have to get a bigger size

Brooks are the only athletic shoes I own but Ghost have been my favorite style. I started with the 13s and I have several pairs of 14s in rotation. IMO, the 16s are a lot like the Glycerin 20s I own which are wider, a little heavier and a bit clunky compared to the 14s. Don't get me wrong, Brooks quality still is great and these are comfy and don't need a break in period. I've only had them a couple weeks so still getting used to them but I'm still a fan!

This is the first time in all the many years wearing Ghost that I gave them only 4 stars. Why does Brooks change the fit every year? These were always a 5 star shoe and now I see reviews and rating going down, so sad. I was able to adapt to the changes over the years but this year the toe box is much wider, I take a medium width, and I feel like they are too roomy. Still an excellent shoe with plenty of cushiony comfort but not as good as in years past. And the color selection needs improving too. I wear these shoes all the time except for dress up of course . I would like more neutral colors. I had navy and grey in the past. Now I had to get black since I had no choice as there is no navy or grey.

Design is slightly different from the 15s. Ran a little smaller, had to size up 1/2 a size. Cushion inside feels a bit different as well. Hopefully, I'm still breaking them in.

Really like the fit. I don't typically need wide toes shoes but i wish I'd ordered the wide fit.

I'm a frequent Brooks Ghost buyer and just tried the 16- here are a few observations: - The shoe laces are SO much better- thank you thank you! please never use the Ghost 15 laces again :) - Unlike others, I have no ankle rubbing or issues - The 16s are very comfortable and have been great for walking so far - I do however feel like the sizing has changed and my consistent size for years is now feeling a bit too roomy (i'm curious to try a 1/2 size down) - I'm worried about the longevity of the mesh upper, it seems easily prone to rips (larger designed holes in the 16) and not very sturdy. No issues yet and hoping it stays that way!

I love the cushion on these! The only downside is that they are a bit clunky. Had the Brooks Levitate which was the most perfect of all the Brooks shoes I have bought. So sad you don't seem to be making them anymore.

These sneakers were a bit narrower than I had hoped. In defense for the sneakers, I have had several surgeries and am difficult to fit. I really liked them and was sorry to return.

The fit of Ghost 16 is different from Ghost 15 which is 5 star. Still getting used to the shoes that hits my ankle. To remedy ankle irritation the laces were loosed and laces are now very short. After using all my Ghost shoes, I always wash the soles however Ghost 16 is different. The dirt is a chore to clean. I know I am fussy but Ghost 15 (have 3 pairs) are super easy to clean the soles. Still trying to love my shoes.

Cute and comfy-ish. Had to break them in, and didn't have to before.

I am a Brooks loyalist because the original ghost is the only shoe I've been able to run over a mile in without my knees giving out in a decade. These are good walking shoes, but I certainly haven't been able to run or weight lift in them. I've actually been weight lifting barefoot, because I started having stability issues in one ankle about 2 weeks into using these shoes. That's probably my fault for doing too much volume, though I haven't had that issue since I was a little kid. All said, these shoes are comfortable and supportive, but I can't say they helped my issue.

I love Ghost because of the neutral cushioning. However small changes cheapen this version like no metal guards around the lace holes. I also think the colors are really bland compared to other models. Will probably stick to the 15's for better quality compared to the 16s

Always but Ghost but these are definitely fitting smaller yet your pop up in NYC said they didn't like the 1/2 size larger for me. Hopefully next year's model will be tweaked in the front. Thx!

There's a different feel with the 16's compared to the prior ghost shoes I've owned. In my opinion I prefer my ghost 15 or 14 over these. There feels like it has more foam/ cushion that I'm not the biggest fan of. Overall I'll still be using them for work and I do like the aesthetic of the colors I picked.

As a customer for this shoe, I'm an outlier --not a runner but an old women with hip, knee and foot problems. My everyday shoes are several pairs of a Brooks leather sneaker (I forget the model name), which are supportive and great for walking on city sidewalks. But they weigh a ton and are not flexible enough for driving. So I ordered these Ghosts, which are much lighter. Love the fit and the cushioning. Don't love the arch support, which barely exists. I pronate like crazy in them, which affects my knees. But I added a supportive insole and now I am cautiously optimistic; think I'll keep them. (Edited to add:) I like that they come in solid black so they look like real shoes, not cartoons.

I've been wearing brooks ghost for years and have always ordered a half size larger than my regular shoe size for a perfect fit. With the 15s and now the 16s I've had to return for my regular size. Both the 15s and the 16s run long.

The size was spot on, but the color was an ashey black and the laces looked ashey as well, and they certainly were not black like my other black Ghosts. The arch support felt somewhat less than in the other Ghost shoes I've bought.

It doesn't seem as cushioned as my last Ghost 14 was?

I love the fit, a lot of toe room, felt like they ran big, bought a second pair, actually the most comfortable. Didn't like the fact that out of all the color choices, I was given two options. All my purchases have only lasted about 6 months before they start looking like they're ten years old. Therefore, I do wish they were cheaper or discounted, but if it's the only shoes that are comfortable, I don't really have a choice on the cost.

This my 4th pair of Brooks Ghost shoes, the fit of the shoe is always the same, which I really like, however these are a little stiffer than the previous series and I struggled a little more to "break" them in, but overall I am still happy and will continue to buy shoes in this model. As a FYI I do not run however I am an avid walker, I normally walk between 14,000-20,000 steps on a average day so I need comfortable shoes, thanks

These aren't my favorite Ghost model, and I had a similar issue with the 14s. When I'm running there's some discomfort in my knees and a heavy feeling to my legs - I can't exactly describe it. It's not so bad that I'm going to quit wearing them, but I did prefer the 15s (and 13s, etc.) .
