What a great running shoe! One of the most comfiest, best riding, stable shoe in my book. It's a super trainer alright and I can't wait for my next run; and the next run, and the next. Never been so excited about running 'til this shoe. Two thumbs up Hoka!

Great running shoe; noticed the difference right away; very comfortable; unique design, stylish. Getting many compliments on these. A bit pricey but worth the comfort.

Hoka didn't disappoint. I had many brands before but the quality of them was a lot inferior than Hoka. I did a half marathon and this shoes are the best, so comfortable, is like you step on clouds. The best of the best. Better than my gaviotta 5.

I didn't think Hoka can make shoes better than previously. I've been running in Clifton for a long time and tried these skyward X and their phenomenal.

I cannot believe it but the Skyward surpasses the Bondi in comfort.

I've been a Bondi fan for years. Neutral stability and a Plush ride are what my 60 year old ankles need to walk for exercise. These feel amazing! A bit pricey but worth the investment! Nice work Hoka!

I can't believe how great this shoe is. It is more than twice as cushiony as the Bondi 8.

This is by far the best I have purchased from HOKA.I was waiting for the right product. Then I saw them on the website.I wanted the cushion. Great Job HOKA.

I haven't put these through a 20 mile marathon training long run yet, but so far with a week's use, I'm very happy with these. They're positively bouncy! You can really feel the meta-rocker sole feature rolling onto your toes when walking. I don't notice it as much when actually running though. I size up 0.5 size with Hokas and there's lots of room for my toes. I'm over 60 and I'm recovering from plantar fasciitis recently and these feel wonderful and give good energy return and comfort.

I have used many carbon shoes over the years included many pairs of Nike Vaporfly Next. I have to say this is my favorite carbon shoe. It's definitely as responsive as the Vaporfly with much more cushion. It took it on an 11 mile run and paced 30 to 40 seconds per mile faster than my normal pace with what felt like the same effort. These are now my new favorite shoes!

Finally a super cushion with a plate! Training for an Ironman and wanted a shoe that would be faster but more importantly save my knees for longer runs on pavement (I usually train on gravel). These seemed to fit my goals, so I went for them and I am so glad I did - they're now my favorite shoes to run on. Amazing cushion, great spring without pushing me to far on the toes during the long run. I took almost a minute off per mile on last 12 mile run (but take that and the rest of this review with a grain of salt time went from 9 to 8:07 mile so I'm no expert) Bottom Line: love em. (BTW: got these at Fleets Feet on J in Sacramento (couldn't recommend them more).

These Skyward X shoes are easily the best feeling shoes I have ever worn. I broke them in with a 10 mile run for my run in them. It felt like I had pillows on my feet and extra energy propelling me through each mile. I've never felt this refreshed after a nice long run like this!

I picked these up looking for a new max cushion shoe to add to my rotation. I was intrigued by how it would pair with the carbon plate. I couldn't be happier. The ride is so smooth and the carbon plate makes it so responsive. My legs just wanted to keep running. I can't recommend these enough. I look forward to using these on long runs for marathon prep.

Like the Bondi on steroids! Since I bought it I run in it almost every day. It's a big, clunky shoe- but on foot it goes soft and fasts. Really fun to run in.

This is the best shoe Hoka has ever made for standing on your feet on concrete floors. But they are not available in wide. If they make them in wide they would be perfect. To prevent bunions, wide shoes are much better for your feet. But my dad loves his; fits him perfectly.

I have tried many different brands of shoes and keep coming back to these. I wear them all the time from light training to half-marathons.

The sky ward X is a great shoe. The only problem is that hoka doesn't seem to want to make there higher end shoes in wides. What a shame.

Would have been my favorite shoe of all time if this came in a wide option. PLEASE HOKA, make a wide version for 2.0!!

Amazing shoe. Love these for my base/long runs. Would really love this shoe in WIDE. Then they would be perfect.

Please make the Skyward X in wide and extra wide! This is exactly the type of shoe runners want a plush, plated trainer perfect for marathon training. No one else is making something like this in wide (except New Balance), and this feels like Bondi's on steroids! As someone with wide feet and a hybrid athlete, I really need the extra cushion for both recovery and performance. We love this shoe now please make it available for everyone! You guys did it right with the Mach X2 but please do this with all your race shoes. I don't like feeling like I'm running on a narrow skinny spare tire!
