Most comfortable shoe I have ever had. I walk 100 - 120 miles per week and my feet feel great in these shoes. I would highly recommend!

At first glance, I thought the shoes would be heavy and stiff. Ran a slow 5k and was pleasantly surprised by the lightweight feeling and very comfortable cushioning. Might be one of my new favorites.

My feet hurt for months, and my girlfriend recommended Hokas to me so I bought a pair last year and my feet feel amazing. I do a lot of walking for my job as a K-8 custodian in a larger school, and I have since bought 2 more pairs to switch between. I also loved your limited edition sunglasses, they were perfect, I recently lost mine camping, but would love another pair. Please make more.

In May 2024 I started a couch to half marathon training program and about halfway through I bought the Skyward X shoes and I absolutely love them. I have bad knees and a bad back to begin with so I have to be mindful of how I run and these shoes are a game changer. I can now relax a little when running because of the cushioning in the shoes and I feel nothing on my back or knees.

After a very positive experience with the Cielo X1, I got intrigued by the Skyward X although I was not at all into the first colorway in white, red, and blue. Yes, performance and how a shoe feels and rides are the most important factors when getting a running shoe, but the look of a shoe does matter. When the cosmic grey with all-white midsole colorway became available, I decided to give the Skyward X a shot even though I was put off by the listed weight. I thought it'd be a good easy/recovery kind of shoe but, man, was I wrong. This is a very versatile, peppy, propulsive, and fun running shoe that is, as expected, very protective and comfortable for daily miles or for long runs. I've been very pleasantly surprised and the shoe just feels better and better as I get deeper and longer into the runs. I've got 30-some miles on the Skyward X now and it looks like it will easily go another 400, probably up to 600. It's built like a tank and the outsole is about as robust as you need it. I'll have to see how the PEBA midsole holds up but it feels very resilient and sturdy. It's firmer than I expected but in a pleasant way as it feels more responsive and peppier for faster paced runs. I'm a light guy (5-7 or 167cm and 125lbs or 57kg), so I'm sure that has something to do with it feeling firmer but I can say that light runners like me will benefit from this shoe just as well as heavier runners do. Surprise shoe of the year for me and loads of fun.

I'm not a runner or even much of an athlete! I'm a 60 year old male with bad arthritis in my feet. I've tried everything to alleviate the pain, to no avail. My last pair of shoes were the HOKA Bondi 8. At that point they had come the closest to meeting my needs. But, after awhile, even they failed me. When the Bondi 8's finally wore out, I decided to spend a little more money and get the Skyward X's. WOW!!! What a difference! It's like walking on a cloud! I've never had a pair of sneakers this comfortable, and I would highly recommend them to both athletes and fellow old guys with arthritis!

I love them! They are super comfortable and supportive! Highly recommended. They feel somewhat springy and light despite their size. The colors are awesome and pop.

Excellent shoe. Most comfortable Hoka ever worn. BUT. The mesh on top if shoe developed a hole, not even two weeks after usage.

Great Shoe - Just needs a Wide version
You can also use it for casual wear compared to other super shoes. I just need a wider version for male feet. I also had to size down from 8.5 to 8 because it was sliding a little. Normally I wear 8.5 hokas.

Honestly my wife chose these for the color and style and I am now a big fan of the new level of cushion, comfort, and support they provide. A win win it seems. Very supportive and a new bounce to my step.

I couldn't wait to see these SKYWARD X shoes. OMG!!! They were absolutely gorgeous. I have fallen in love with HOKA shoes. They fit perfectly, I could move-n-groove in them the way I wanted too. Walking, running and doing my physical therapy in them as well. I wear a size 11in the men's, but they were still phenomenal for this woman!!! I don't know why HOKA didn't make this color in the ladies size as well. But, they did make it where you could still receive it regardless if it is a men's size. Please, please, please good people out there if you want a comfortable, fabulous shoe.......this is definitely the one!!!! Luv Ya HOKA, you truly represent in every which way possible. And HOKA, do consider getting some more Gorgeous colors like that for us women. Also an all white color would be phenomenal as well!!!!

I've always worn Men's US size 8D. These shoes felt great when I first put them on. I've ran two times with them and both times it was for a 10 mile run so I have about 20 miles in. The shoe is max cushion and it feels like running on clouds. The energy return was also noticeable and enjoyable to run. Unfortunately, I ordered it online and didn't get to them until after the trial period or else I would have ordered a half size bigger. I developed a blister from the left pinky toe since the toe box is smaller than I'm used to after the 5-mile mark. This is my error so I can't fault HOKA or the shoe for it. I should have tried them on or test them out earlier. Shoe is phenomenal, but you really need to try it on to get the correct sizing since the toe box is much smaller than other Hoka's.

Upgraded from my Clifton 9's as I've been starting to run far more and upping the pace. Takes a little bit of adjusting with the extra cushioning and the carbon plating but love them!
Very comfortable shoe and great spring with each step

I've been running ultras and at 60 years old it's starting to beat me up. The Bondis were working okay but they were heavy and were lacking the cushiony feel that I wanted. I decided to splurge a little and bought the Skyward X and have been really impressed. Just having them on your feet makes you feel lighter and ready to spring forward. I've put on about 50 miles on them so far and most everything is great with the shoe with a couple exceptions. First, the shoe seems to feel a little bigger than the same size Cliftons and Bondis I have worn in the past. Secondly, there seems to be somewhat of a flat-footed type slap with the left shoe, which I haven't experienced before - maybe due to the slightly large feel? Not sure, but I can live with it. Lastly, the stack height of the shoe makes it easy to turn your ankle. I have done it a half-dozen times with these shoes in the limited time of wearing them. It doesn't take much to do it. I would recommend staying off any sort of technical terrain while wearing them. Overall though, I really like them and will continue to use them to train and more than likely race the Chicago Marathon in the fall.

I walk at least 4 miles a day in theses shoes and my back and feet couldn't feel better after. These shoes are so light and comfortable I can leave them on all day with no problem.
