I bought these for trail running, but they're great for kicking around town. Comfortable right out of the box with generous room in the toe bed.

I wear a 6-1/2 W mens shoe with a high instep and a toe line that is essentially flat from big toe to little toe. SUPER hard to find. I bought the 8W womens and they fit perfectly. I use them for walking 18 holes of golf daily and find them super comfortable. Best shoe I have ever had. At 68 years old that says something.

I have a bunion and these shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have worn. I now have two pairs and wear them everyday. If you're looking for comfort, I highly recommend.

My first pair of 0 drop. My calves and legs gave a sigh of relief . My back liked them too! Use in the house, neighborhood, the trail out my back door. Great Toe Box compared to other Altras

I love my lone peak. I've been wearing for years and never disappoints. They are perfect for all the things I encounter on trail runs ...mud and streams and rocks and hills. Please be aware the lone peak 8 is running at least 1/2 size bigger than previous versions. That said... customer service was exceptional in dealing with my issue and the reason I give a 5 star!

Try these. They are different and they are awesome. Light weight but supportive and roomy but they don't slip. I look forward to putting them on. It's weird but true. Do yourself a favor and buy them.

I am always between a 7.5 and an 8 so hard to get the right size. The 7.5 works but almost feels too small. But otherwise great and love the shoe!

I have enjoyed the Olympus as my first pair of Altras. I run ultras and need wider toe boxes due to my feet going numb over 3 miles in regular shoes. These have been great on the trails including in wet conditions. They are very comfortable. This is the second brand I have tried in zero-drop and have found success finally. Very happy with these and love the black / purple colors!

My first pair of Altras, and I never went back! I love the width and minimal cushioning in these, I feel confident feeling the ground with my feet. Buy them and don't look back!

I wore the first years of Altra and had to stop because they suddenly became huge at the heal like for cankles etc. I couldnt keep my heals in them anymore. Im so happy you put a heal cup in these and made the ankle adjustable for smaller or bigger ankles. This version really locks down the instep. Im looking forward to doing steep mountains. Also love the ripstock nylon. It should dry faster in wet brush. Lastly what a fantastic roomy toe box without making the whole shoe gross and wide. No tennis balls or newspapers in these shoes to stretch the toebox. I have been trail running for 30 yrs. My feet are not warped by bad footwear and Im not chunky so my ankles are small, my heals are small, my instep med and muscular and I have a wide toe box from wearing good shoes and running my buns off. These are the first pair of wide width shoes that actually fit like a wide width should. The perfect amount of room in the toe box, flexible tongue that doesn't compress too tightly on a higher instep and the amount of cushion in the sole is just right. Only two small pieces of feedback.. the laces are the "slippery" kind that don't always stay tied unless you double knot and there are very limited colors in the wide width styles. Even with that said, I will buy again and again!

I have run in Altra Lone Peak's for almost 15 years now. They are my one and only for short and ultra long runs/hikes and adventure races.

Why aren't all shoes foot shaped? I have been using lone peaks as my daily shoe for years and they are the best. The wide width is essential for my flintstone feet and neuromas. I like the new feature on the 8s and wonder why Altra is offering fewer styles in wide? Also, the color selection is meh

I am so happy with the color options available in the 8s! No garish pink and purples and a better selection of more neutral colors. Woohoo!

I've had several iterations of the Lone Peak (and liking some versions better than others). I bought the "Black/Gray" version which is more like a very nice blue with earth green sole. Love them.

I will never wear standard toe box shoes for my runs again! Having my toes free to move naturally inside a wide toe box shoe is incredible! I feel like I have more balance and even notice the strength increasing in my feet too. No more squished shoes for me. I've been wearing these beyond just my runs. I've been wearing them on my rower, everywhere, and when I put on a pair of my standard toe box shoes, my feet were killing me within 5 minutes of wearing. I was shocked at the difference. You dont really leave the difference until you experience it for yourself

I was really surprised and delighted by these shoes! The toe box is so roomy which is great for my wide feet. I've been using regular trainers for trail running and these changed the game. Running trails feels so much easier. These shoes really grip the ground and make me feel secure while running!

Disclosure: I received this item for free exchange for a honest review Wow! When I tried these on for a quick run, I was surprised, the roominess and cushion support is amazing. Natural fit, honestly the room and support in the shoes feel like I'm walking barefoot on clouds. Typically where I run or walk there's tons of terrain and these shoes kept up and I never lost a beat. I did get them a bit dirty on my run but they were so quick to clean. After using these pair of shoes for a consistent two week period, I have not want to put on my old hiking/running shoes. I found my new to go brand for running/walking or hiking. The bottom of the shoes have incredible grip and traction in any terrain. The toe area is super roomy, which allows your feet to breathe which unlike other brands that make your feet feel restrictive. The style/color are so pretty, I love the color combo. Bottom line, I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone, I've already convinced a few family members and my husband to purchase a pair and they are as impressed as I am.

I absolutely love these shoes. I have worn them all day for 12 hours and my feet have not been in pain and it feels so comfortable with the extra toe space. They are so stylish.

These walking/running sneakers feel so comfortable after I out them on I almost forgot I had them on. The curved foot is perfect for someone like myself who has wide feet and when I walk & run my toes don't ever hit the top of the shoe. They grip the road easily and allow me to run without feeling any foot fatigue. These are my new favorite sneakers for my daily walks & runs. What a phenomenal product. The fit is exceptional and the support is perfect. I used them on a few 5+ mile hikes and they took it like a champ. A great hiking shoe that durable, comfortable, and intelligently made.
