I will be returning the turtlenecks because they seem to run small and shorter than my old ones.

I have purchased LL Bean cotton turtlenecks for decades. I returned this group due to the material. It was too silky, not what I thought I ordered. If you go back to the cotton turtlenecks of past then I will continue to buy them for decades.

I'm not a tall person (5'3"), and yet this shirt is a bit short and the sleeves are a bit short as well. I had previously bought the shirt is XS, so I thought that maybe that was the problem. That's why I bought the shirt again in S. But no. Now it's still not only a bit short with shortish sleeves, but now the turtleneck is too loose/big. The torso needs another 2 inches in lenght, at least, and the sleeves another inch. This is true across all LLBean pima shirts (unless you order in Tall. Imagine that: a 5'3" woman ordering Tall. Which is Ok, I guess, except that not all their pima cotton shirts are available in Tall). I think it's time to look elsewhere for quality cotton shirts.

Love the material but it shrank a lot. Fit perfect when I got it. Washed and dried per the tags. May try a tall.

Beautiful color with very soft fabric that made the turtleneck comfortable.

Fabric is nice, but the cut is very skimpy. Not the same quality as in the past.

The body of this turtleneck is so short, before washing, it won't stay tucked into high-waisted jeans. Forget about wearing it alone, without a top layer; it would look like a cropped top. I even bought a size up from usual. The sleeves are plenty long & body is roomie, but at least 2-3 inches should be added to the body length. "Shrinkflation" strikes again.

The feel of this turtleneck is lovely, and so are the colors. However, they are SHORT. Short in the arms and short in length, even after being washed in cool water and hung over the rack to dry. I'm 5'5", average weight. If I tuck this in and bend over, they begin to slip out of my pants. I know Bean's has a tunic length, but those are heavier. Make these longer, and I'd be happy to buy them. Returned the 3 I bought after test washing one.

This shirt is not the same as ones I already have. The seam that attaches the turtle neck part to the body of the shirt is very scratchy. I had to keep rolling the top of the turtleneck inside and down to cover the seam. Now it has to go into the give-away box, as I can't wear it anymore. Other than that, it's very soft and would be comfy but for that seam. The size is a bit smaller than the two older ones I have

I purchased a L-size in butter to replace the exact same turtleneck I'd purchased from LLBean a few years ago. Love the color, BUT the size was way off -- the neck was way too tight, the sleeves were too tight and the fit was off. Sadly, I had to return this.

Nice green color, initial fit okay. Also ordered one in Lavender, fit a bit long and large but okay. (Both regular Medium size) Washed in COLD water, gentle cycle, dried on LOW heat. Lavender shirt okay, but Teal shrunk BADLY, now tight in body and arms, and way too short! These arrived in separate packages, perhaps made in different facilities? My previous year's LLBean turtleneck tees have been fine. What hapoened? I'm returning the Teal, way too short after one wash.

I enjoyed wearing this turtleneck until I washed and dried it. It shrunk significantly. Now the sleeves are too short and the body of the shirt is significantly smaller. Can only wear it under another top. Very disappointed

These are beautiful but you need them in tall sizes! I wear a medium, but the body and sleeves are too short!

I order the teal and was pleasantly surprised with the rich coloring however the sizing is off. I returned the shirt because the cut was not only too tight but also too short. If you order, I highly recommend you order at least one size larger.

I am not a really tall person, but these turtlenecks aren't long enough. Please make them longer. Pants are lower these days, not at your waist, and these turtlenecks don't even tuck in well to most trousers. I can't wear them with most of my trousers. Cotton is lovely.

I have bought LLBean t-necks & mock T's in the XS petite or regular before that fit, but his one was so small I had to send it back.

Not true to size. Bought and loved the pima Tnecks for years. Large was always quite roomy, this year is between medium and small in fit. And I am 12 pounds less than when I last bought these. Will have to return for an XL, when from most vendors I buy medium! LL Bean should give a heads up on their website that sizing has changed on this particular item.

I purchased two of these turtlenecks in 1x after reading the reviews about the shrinkage problem. I washed them and hung them after drying for a few minutes on delicate.Both are now longer in the front then in the back. The shoulder seams are off too. Not sure if I'll return or not. I layer my clothes so no one will see the lopsided turtleneck. The plus side, they are soft. Two stars.

The neck was too tight for me, but the rest fit perfectly.

I have bought many turtlenecks from LLBean. I always buy a Large - long arms ... So I bought 3 of these turtlenecks; when they arrived I took off the tags, hung them up, waiting for cooler weather. I put on one recently and was beyond disappointed. The tag says material is cotton, feels very cheap, arms are not long enough and neither is the whole turtleneck. Since I took off the tags, and it's been months, I cannot return them. Now I am a bit gun-shy about buying from llbean.

Very disappointed in how badly this shirt shrunk. After the first laundering the sleeves are way too short and the length is too short. I know I can return it but what a hassle. I would rather get the quality clothing I expect from this company.

When I received the turtlenecks I ordered (3), they fit perfectly and felt silky smooth and comfortable. After washing them, they shrank considerably, in length. Had to return them.

I never thought I'd have to return a purchase to LLBean. But this turtleneck was not what I expected. The material was very thin - too lightweight for winter. I've ordeted many in the past and the weight and feel was heavier and softer. I'd probably have to wear a sweater or a vest with it to be warm enough. The worst is the way it feels. Maybe good for Spring. No softness. I'm returning it.

Re: Order # 010213718602 000 N. I order the pima turtleneck frequently ... I must have at least 6 ... same size each time ... my most recent purchase was significantly smaller around the body than my previous purchases. What have you done to the pattern? I had to wear that night so can't return and not sure I would anyway because now I am very unsure of your sizing ... I am hoping I can stretch this one out a bit when I wash it. But I am NOT pleased. Photo is enclosed with the recently arrived shirt (coral rose) and one (light pink) purchased last year. They are the same size, same model.

It did not fit like other Pima tops, and the fabric felt flimsy. I returned it and will not reorder.
