Pretty colors, but that's about it. The fabric is flimsy and even though I wash in cold water and line dry, the three shirts I bought all shrank. I won't buy these again.

I sometimes wear petite, sometimes regular women's medium. The petite fit well in the store but when I washed it (according to instructions) it shrunk to moving 2" up my arms. I wanted to return it, but one can't after it's worn. So, I gave it to GoodWill and ordered a medium regular. It, too, has shrunk, using cold water wash, and I'll recycle it as well. I will now be hesitant to buy any washable item from LL Bean.

I bought two of these turtlenecks this summer at the store in Freeport. They were the perfect length until I washed and dried them. They probably shrunk two inches in length and I can no longer wear them. I didn't save my paper receipt and can't return. This experience makes me wary about purchasing other items in the future.

I bought 3 of these. Wore all 3 before I washed and dried per tag instructions. They shrank over a full size! I ordered my usual medium and put it on and it fit great! After laundering, the sleeves come well above my wrists and the hem barely covers the top of my pants. Unfortunately I can't send them back because I wore them and I'd have to pay the shipping on a product that is not usable. Order up at LEAST 1 size if not 2 sizes is all I can say. I was quite shocked to say the least as I buy most of mine and my husband's clothes from here. Bought him 3 also and they did the same.

I ordered this in late October to wear in the winter. It is much thinner than the Interlock T-Necks that I bought previously and lack the knitted cuff that I prefer. It is also stretchier than I expected. In addition, it doesn't seem to be color fast since after washing it the red color rubbed off on a white bra I was wearing. Would not buy this again.

Although the fabric is nice and the sleeves are the perfect length, the shirt body is TOO SHORT! The shirt is so short that it won't stay tucked into my jeans, most of which are high rise.

Ordered three of these. The neck is quite tight, and the seam between the turtleneck and the garment body is stitched with that complicated overlock/serging style that is so scratchy I couldn't wait to take off the only one of the three I got. Going right back. So disappointed!

This turtleneck was not for me. Very thin material. I have other turtlenecks from LL Bean that are wonderful 100% cotton and keep me warm.

Just received this t-neck in time for the cold weather. Other t-necks I've had from LLB have had a cuff/tighter sleeve around the wrist. These are loose, and feel weird. It would seem you'd want a tighter fit to keep your arms warm. Too much of a hassle to return at C'mas so I'll donate them. Loved the colors, hate the sleeves...

What a disappointment! The material is thin, the tag at the waist is itchy and it does not survive a single washing. Based on the Bean size chart I am between a small and a medium so I ordered the medium. Out of the package, it was snug across the chest and the sleeves barely reached my wrists. After one washing, the sleeves shrunk up over my wrist and after 2 washes are a 1/3 of the way to my elbows. The description promised a quality material that holds its size and shape. That is not what I experienced. I ordered several in different colors and all have the same problems.

I ordered this item in the purple and it was on back order. It arrived this week. But the fit is off somehow. The shoulder seams don't sit on the shoulder, they land about 1 inch lower than they should. And this creates some extra folds of fabric across the front. I really like the color and wanted to keep it but I know I won't wear it because of odd fit.

This was my third time buying this comfortable, soft, Pima cotton turtleneck. Even though I bought the same size as my other turtlenecks, this one didn't fit. The sleeves were way too long and also the sleeves were way too tight. Consistent sizing within a product line seems to be a problem for LLBean now. I hope this consistent sizing problem is fixed soon. Once I find something I like, I like to buy it in several colors.

Totally unusable. The neck was so tight that I could pull it over my head only with the greatest difficulty--and I have a small head. It was too long, came down almost to my knees. In addition, the printed size on the back was clearly visible through the light-colored fabric. I am returning it.

The neck is incredibly tight, and the body is also small. The fabric is very thin and cheap.

This shirt was not true to size -- sleeves were too short, and length was also off -- did not fall mid-hip. The cloth was also thin. But all got even worse when it shrank in the first wash. I had to return it.

The pima cotton is stretchy and uncomfortably clingy. I would not recommend this turtleneck.

The PRIM a turtleneck wasn't the same quality as 2024. It was inferior.

I bought four of these and cannot wear them There is a stiff tag on the side that is incredibly uncomfortable. I tried to snip it off, but there was still a small remnant that scratched my skin (actual red marks). I tried to remove it completely, but it is sewn into the seam so tightly that it caused a rip. Usually a big LL Bean fan, but someone just wasn't thinking.

the pink and light blue colors are beautiful, but that is it. they are super thin, compare to the same product in men's. I am 5'5, 123lb. and tried on size Small. The shoulders are not wide enough, the torso length not long enough, the sleeves are ok but wish they were slightly longer, the width of the torso is too big (even though this is not my main issue with this product). I suggest you go back to the drawing board and increase prices if you have to, but please produce a good quality product that is it thick and warm, it is a turtleneck after all.

Very disappointing not consistent sizing. Runs very small and SHORT! I have sn older one same size fits fine. A lot of L.L. Bean shirts and sweaters are way too short or they shrink up

I can hardly pull it over my head. I will wash it in cold water and hang to dry.

I've been buying these turtlenecks for years. This one fit ok before I washed it, but then was totally unwearable in the neck and length after washing it. This didn't happen with the same item a couple years ago. Be warned!!!

I bought two turtlenecks from here. Both fit great upon arrival. Both shrunk horribly when washed in cold water gentle cycle. Both were dried by hanging up. Both shrunk down to child size. I did not expect this from LLBEAN. Especially since others have given this such a high rating! I have bought tshirts here before, and lately, they're shrinking also.

What happened L.L. Bean ?!! Your turtlenecks have been the Gold Standard. Well, not anymore. All 3 of the white turtlenecks I just received reeked of chemicals - manufactured in Peru according to the label. This will be the last order I place as I've completely lost my confidence in your merchandise. Pity. You used to be a great company.

After washing it in cold water and drying it on a drying rack it was about 2-3 inches shorter! I returned an unwashed blue one as well as the color was too subdued.
