Love the quality of material and workmanship of these turtlenecks. Would like to have them slightly longer, also in the color butter and in a tomato red--same wishes apply for the crew necks and cowlneck pima shirts. I wear them frequently on their own or layered with sweatshirts, shirts, sweaters and vests.

I like the feel of the cotton and the color. The shoulders and sleeves fit well, the body is a little bit short. I would buy it again

Nice color turtle neck collar looks good only downside is the arm holes are too low/ big.

Excellent quality turtleneck. I would have liked it to be a bit thicker as I use this when I ride horses in the winter but it woks really well on very cold days with a LIFA underneath. Cotton quality is excellent.

The fabric is very soft and comfortable. My arms are short and the Regular size sleeves are fairly long on me but wearable. I think that next time I will order a Petite size.

The fit is perfect, but the material isn't as comfortable as the regular cotton turtlenecks. Somehow these feel cooler in temperature when I put them on, esp. here in the wintertime.

Petite is shorter than I expected. The fit is great, very comfortable and warm. Fries without wrinkles on lowest dryer setting.

I have been wearing these turtlenecks for 40 years now, I do wish that they were longer and that some of the basic colors stayed in the rotation.

Love the soft pima cotton, the colors are nice, I purchased a navy blue and burgundy. I normally wear petite in most women's clothing (5'2") but need regular in LL Bean, their sizes run short. The neck fits a little snug, in the future I will stick with the cowl neck or mock neck.

The fabric is soft and has a wonderful feel. It did not shrink after washing and retained its softness. My only complaint is that it does come in a TALL size. Sleeves are a wee bit short as is the length.

After buying almost all the colors in Petite S over the past 10 years, I have always loved the fabric, colors and comfort. However, the body length is too short! The tops don't stay tucked in slacks, and they don't look good either. Even though this is the right size for me at 5'1", I am now buying a Regular Small for body length but I have to roll up the sleeves as I am a petite. I notice from other reviews that this is a common complaint. Please tell the folks who set the style to consider increasing the body length by at least 2 or 3".

Love these cotton turtlenecks for their quality, softness and vibrant colors however they're just an inch or two short. I wear them almost every day but I'm constantly pulling the front down so it doesn't ride up to my waist. Please add a little length and they'll be perfection!

Fabric is soft and comfortable but the length shrunk after one washing in cold water and now too short in body and arms. I can use it just for layering under sweaters and sweatshirts. These are beautiful but you need them in tall sizes!

Nice weight and pretty color fit is true to size. Washed well.

The quality of the product is beautiful, trusted LLBean quality. The color is really hard to sometimes be as accurate in the picture as it is in reality. I do want to return it but for a different color. I would like to add how LLBean used to carry beautifully made more feminine clothes.

Very nice quality material. I am slightly less than 5 " tall, so I ordered a petite. The sleeves fit perfectly, but the garment was a bit short for my taste.

Love the feel of the shirt and it was true to size until it was washed. Then sleeves and length of shirt shrunk so that I almost can't wear it. I wear a medium and if I decide to give it another chance, I'll order the tall medium. I am not tall I am 5'4" and the medium shrunk to 1.5" above my wrist. And I did wash it gently. Not sure I can just size up because I don't want it bigger around. Wouldn't not buy again unless I am trying out the tall. Too bad as the feel of the shirt is great!

Light weight good for all year long. I wish the yellow was available when I was ordering late in the fall.

I usually wear a large or XL in most shirts. This XL was very small. I also bought it in 1X for my mother while it was too tight for her, it fit me in the body but the neck was so tight that I could never wear it comfortably. So both are going back. We are really sad, because we love the weight, fabric and color (Butter). The butter has sold out in all sizes. :-( Hope LLBean will stock it next year and I'll know to buy 2 sizes up.

The sleeves are too long, and I wish they had cuffs. Love the color. Feels good!

Nice quality turtleneck but would have preferred a more fitted look. This turtleneck was very loose on me and did not like the look so returned.

Love the way this shirt feels and fits, but the turtle neck is too loose - droops in the front.

These are my go to turtlenecks in winter for layering under sweaters and sweatshirts. Very comfortable and soft and wash up perfectly. The only improvement I would suggest would be to make them a little longer.
