The fabric is silky and feels good on. I'm 5'5", 140 lbs, and bought a large. The sleeves fit fine but the length is too short for my tastes.

Very nice quality. Washes well and retains shape. Collar is very comfortable (some brands are too bulky). Fits a 1/2" more snug than a Large should.

Love Bean's cottons, but found this turtleneck too tight in the neck and arms. I usually wear a small size, as a medium is too baggy in the body.

Nice but it does bleed. Wash separately. The neck is a bit tight. Nice color. A bit pricey

The sleeves and torso length of this turtle neck are too short. Be aware also that that the fabric is lightweight. On the plus side, the cotton is soft to the point of silky and the colors are great.

DOES SHRINK COLD WATER WASH , LOW DRY....THEN HANG WAS A BIT THICKER MATERIAL LAST YR. GOOD PIMA COTTON QUALITY, DOES NOT PILL

I like a loose fit so I purchased a large size. I chose deep plum and deep navy. I hope Bean will bring back the bright blue. The neck is a little snug. I like a looser but still a turtle neck.

Good quality cotton. Fit is well in the body, sleeves are a little short. Washes and dries beautifully.

Quality is very good. I love the soft fabric. However. It shrank a good inch in length and sleeves at first careful washing. It was true to size at purchase.

I'm 5'2" and wear a petite, but I ordered for the first time an extra small so that the fit would be right through the shoulders and neck. It is, and the quality is the usual good quality. The extra smalls are definitely short in the sleeve and length though. If you look to tuck your turtlenecks into your jeans, consider ordering a regular.

Fits well. The blue color does not go all that well with the blue check/plaid chamois cloth shirt.

Nice material, but the shade of red is a little blah, not autumnal, not vivid. It's good enough to go under shirts. A little tight in the bust.

I ordered the Petite size because I am 5'2". Normally, I wear these shirts tucked in but these are a little too short to stay tucked in. Furthermore, there is an itchy label in the side seam at waist level that scratches a bit. The sleeve length is a little short but would be OK, I often pull my sleeves up a little anyway. I ordered one shirt in the Pima cotton style and two in the more casual Interlock style. Nice fabric in both styles, the Pima is a more dressy shirt.

You have no ecru or cream colored shirts in ANY of your tops! Why????? I need them in every style as a layer under sweaters and jackets.

Soft, I wear this turtleneck a lot! The navy seems to have slightly faded after several washings.

I have almost as many Pima turtles as LLBean! (Maybe that is a slight exaggeration). I love them and try to purchase a few new colors each year. I have to mention though, that this year's Pink ("pale rose"?) feels a tiny bit smaller. I always buy XL's as I like my clothes roomythe pink is definitely a different feel than the other 2 turtlenecks I received in the same order.

Very nice. Nice material. The red color is very nice. It is not too bright. Or it is not wine colored. I bought the red because it was on sale. And I'm glad I did.

Bought this black top in Dec 2023. Have had many of these beautiful turtlenecks but for some reason this time it shrunk. Always wash on delicate - air dry. Not sure why? Going to try a larger size to see what happens when washed.

i have been very fond of LL Bean turtlenecks for many, many year. It was time to update my antique LL Bean white turtleneck. The quality is the same, however the material seems slightly lighter in weight, which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Great quality, as usual from LL Bean. Wish they came in tall, though. Sleeves are a bit short after one wash. I used cold water and dried on low.

I read previous reviews regarding shrinkage so I ordered 1 size up. After 2 washes on cold and minimal time in the dryer, the sleeves and length shrank as expected, however because of the larger size, the fit in the torso is somewhat loose.

The fabric is nice, silky soft but still substantial. Washes and dries beautifully. For me, the sleeves are a perfect length which was a refreshing surprise as most tops have sleeves that are an inch or two too long. BUT the length of the body was also kind of shorthard to keep tucked in. My rule of thumb is the length of the sleeves should equal the length of the torsowhich you can see from the photo is not the case on this top.

This fits me well. The fabric is good quality. My only complaint would be it was advertised as white, but is closer to ivory

I love the fabric and color of this turtleneck. My one problem is that I find it to be too short. I'd love another couple of inches.
