It's a beutiful shade of yellow. The shirt runs just a little short.

Comfortable turtleneck with a bit of nice stretch but would make it a bit longer and the fabric a bit thicker for winter.

The cotton is quality. However, I do not like your products - including style (print selection, boxie) and lack of spandex in cotton shirts, pants, etc. I fell it helps maintain shape, and high price point.

I have been purchasing LL Bean turtlenecks for many years. Most shrink in length (torso & sleeves)on the first or second wash, even with cold water, short wash cycle, & brief dryer usage. This Pima Cotton Turtleneck has kept it's color, length & comfort. The successfull wash is to use cold or eco cold water, casual or delicate cycle, hang the turtleneck up until almost dry & use the dryer's low setting for a short time. My older turtlenecks can now go to my friends, family, or charity. Oh... this was also on sale!

Love the color and fabric. But I always buy extra small and get a perfect fit; this one is just on the edge of being too small. It's ok under another shirt, but I am not likely to wear it as an outer layer.

Feels soft and comfortable. Seems like it runs small. Wish I'd bought a size up.

Very nice fabric and fit is great except the turtle neck is a bit tight. I am petite so it is ok but neck might be too tight for some.

The Pima cotton turtlenecks are the best. They drape beautifully and do not wrinkle even when hung to line dry. The neck area can be stretched to create a ruched effect rather than the traditional snug turtleneck. The color selection is nice; so glad you brought back cream. I replaced a light blue one because the waistline of the turtleneck had developed holes when rubbed against the rivet of my jeans. Not sure how this happens but it is annoying. All is not lost, I will still use the turtleneck with the holes when gardening, cleaning or a host of other activities. Ten to fifteen percent discounts are always appreciated.

The Tuttle neck material and fit is great. The only reason for 4 stars is because the sleeves should be longer.

this is a very pretty color and the Pima cotton is always very soft. I like that these shirts do not have a cuff in the sleeve. The only problem is that they do shrink a little and the length gets short.

I like a longer turtleneck for layering under a sweater or sweatshirt for cold midwestern winters. I'm about 5'4" so it doesn't have to be really long but enough so it doesn't come untucked. The 5'9" model with the regular size was not wearing what I purchased lol. Otherwise it is well made and soft. But I prefer the interlock turtleneck.

I like these turtlenecks. I find that your company's clothing is topnotch and wears well. Wash after wash the color is retained. Top quality brand.

He fabric is soft, and the weight of the shirt is enough to help fight off cold air without making me sweat.

Like the butter color. Feels like sizing is off. Had a hard time getting it past the head. Tad shorter than I like.

Nice and soft but Bean's keeps increasing the sizing, so this runs bigger than my previous one

Just bought 3 of these. Colors are great. The material is silky, soft, but not true to size and thin. I should have gotten the interlock turtleneck, my mistake! They are roomier, fabric is heavier and keeps me warmer.

I really like the softness of this piece. I do think it could be sized slightly more generously, hence the 4 stars. I am 5'3, 126 lbs, and bought a medium; it fits fine, but feels a bit skimpy. A large would be too big. So, a bit more fabric all around would make this turtleneck more comfortable without being sloppy.

I love the feel, quality and the way Bean's pima cotton holds its shape and lasts and lasts. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the length was short and the fit was quite fitted. It will work as a base layer but I really had wanted a more tunic like fit. As a petite person I should have gotten a regular small rather than a petite small. I love the ivory color.

This is a great turtleneck. Pima cotton is great for sensitive skin, the fit is good and it's a very nice shade of blue. My only quibble isn't with this turtleneck but with the fact that the color selection for the past 2 years has been so poor. What happened to pink? Women love pink! Please bring it back.

Other than the neck being a bit tight it's a great shirt.

I would rate this a five if I didn't have the same thing from 20 years ago hanging in my winter closet and warming me in church. These are nicer than what I find elsewhere but thinner and I doubt they will be as durable. When I order a turtleneck I'm looking for warmth and style. What I'm seeing is nice style but less warmth. I understand the need for profit but it's sad to see the cutbacks in quality which have affected the market. I still turn to LLBean above many and have been with them since the 80's.

This is a lovely turtleneck- it is even pre-washed to help with shrinkage-but I am compromising in keeping it. For those of us who are bustier, a couple inches longer in length would mean a lot. I ordered a size up-1X-because it's an inch longer. Experience has taught me that 27in vs 26in does make a difference. 28in would have been even better. If this came in a Tall, that would solve this issue for me, too--Some reviewers have remarked that the neck is a bit tight, and I agree. However, if one pulls on it gently, that takes care of THAT issue. If it came in the longer length I would be buying many more; the colors are wonderful. BTW: washing in warm water and hanging it over a rack to dry maintained all the measurements that BeanCustomerService quoted to me when I called.

These turtlenecks are the best! The Pima cotton is so soft and it wears well. The rose color is just as pictured. This turtleneck looks great either dressed up under a jacket or with a pair of jeans.
