This shoe is super smooth and feels very responsive. This is a must have shoe for your road runs! The colors schemes are super rad too.

I prefer max cushion shoes so I'm very happy that Altra added more cushion to the Torin! The Torin is one of my favorite shoes for training and racing. The tongue has been totally redesigned to give you a luxurious, plush feel on the top of your foot. The evolved molded heel collar is a game-changer, providing an ultra-cozy fit that locks you in.

I love this shoe. The Torin 7 is an extremely comfortable shoe. A great upgrade from the Torin 6. The Torin 7 is light as a feather. Great running shoe or going to the gym or just walking around town. I recommend anyone to purchase this shoe as I would definitely buy this shoe again.

There are a ton of great improvements to this years Torin. The tongue is great, the added stack height is noticed and the upper is super nice. Probably the best Torin to date. Feels great at slower and quicker paces.

Loving this update to the Torin!! Feels amazing.

Mile muncher. Use it for all daily miles. Feels soft, free, seems to disappear on my feet as I run.

More cushion than the Torin 6 and the tongue is more plush. These are great for my long runs!

Im so happy with the improvements that Altra made on these. The design is great and the comfort I feel wearing these shoes is even better! This shoe is going in my rotation immediately.

It's the perfect road shoe. Extremely comfortable. Good for speed sessions. Good for slow jogs. Good for racing. Super stylish. I'd recommend it to everyone from beginners to elite pro runners.

More Cushion underfoot, Soft tongue and a softer heel collar feel amazing when I put on the shoe!

An absolute great shoe for running and walking on roads/city sidewalks. I have relatively flat feet and this shoe gives me the comfort and support to stay on my feet at work, walk the dog long distances, and anything else in-between in the city without the pain I usually have with other shoes!

I have been wearing the Torin since the 4.5 Plush and am very happy with this update. The increase in cushioning is noticeable and much appreciated. I also love the heel fit and support!

I got an early release of the Torin 7 to try and really liked them. They are my first pair of Altras and they fit comfortably and are true to size on my foot (men's 11.5). I've not worn a lot of 0 drop shoes, but they haven't caused me any issues. The toe box is comfy and the cushioning is supportive. I'd definitely recommend.

As an Altra Athlete I have put thousands of miles, including a marathon Guinness WR, on the Torin's. The 7 has some great upgrades to an already perfect all-around shoe. If you are just starting in Altra's or can only have one pair, these are what I suggest.

All of my Altra loyalist friends swear that the Torin is their favorite every day running shoe, it was about time I got myself a pair! I really like the blue color and the design

If you loved the Torin 4.5 Plush, the Torin 7 brings that back plus more!

I've had several pairs of Torins and two pair of the Paradigm. Torins seem most comfortable to me, plenty of cushion to them. This pair was no different, and I like the gray with the red Altra stripe. They also hold up pretty well. Currently I have three pair of Torins and one pair of Paradigms. As far as the negatives, there are two for me: Almost always, my big toes wear a hole in the toe of the shoe, ruining the look and relegating them to exercise shoes only for me. I wish the upper on the shoes could be reinforced to avoid that. The other thing is how easily the laces come untied. The surface of the laces seems slippery and on my 4-5 mile walks I have to retie once or twice, unless I double knot, and with this new pair the laces aren't long enough to do that. Still, with my flat feet, the Altra toebox is best for me, so I will continue to purchase and utilize them.

Pronates a bit inward

Overall very happy with the Altra Torin. One thing lacking- when are you going to make a step - in Torin??

My only complaint with this shoe is the original insole. Once I swapped out the insole for a "happy Feet" insole, they were good to go. Love the roomy toe box, after running the Altra Vanish, i was sold on the toe box and this shoe did not disappoint in the area.

I put well over 600 miles on both pairs of my shoes. They did me well for a marathon and every day easy runs. The rubber held up well, and the foam gave me trouble after 600 miles.

The Torin 7 was my first introduction to Altra. I'm a big fan of these shoes. I put over 400 miles on my first pair and 650 miles on my second pair and they have held up very well. Ran a 3:11 marathon in them and used them as my daily mid- to long-run shoe. I love the snug mid-foot and wide toe box, good cushion, and zero drop. Never had any foot pain, knee pain, rubbing, or toe bleed with these. Now that they are on clearance to make way for the Torin 8s, I am debating buying another pair. My only complaint is that they lack any fashion sense - but to each their own.

I like them but it rubs my ankles, I have few other friends complaining the same issue. I had torin 5s before and they were perfect in everything especially around ankles but this model feels a little rough.
