So I'm an avid Brooks, New Balance Girly. I'm shocked that I've been missing out on this comfort! The Toronto 7's have just right amount of spring and cushioning. I have a slightly wide foot and had no issues breaking these in over two runs. I now have the perfect shoe and that has contributed to improved my run times.

I started with Altra lone peaks for hiking, then got some for trail running and then realized I needed to try some road Altras. The torins were recommended from a friend and did some research making sure to avoid the last 2 models. Just got them the other day and I'm in love! Got wide width.

I've had the Torin since at least the 2.5 version. This feels more like the wide toe box those had. The shoe feels a bit big but that might just be because there's more room. My forefoot felt like it was getting a blister on the one foot but never did. The shoe did bunch up in the toe area when running downhill, that is the only real odd thing. The shoe strings are a tad short in my opinion I kind of like a bit longer since I double knot always. I over-tightened the first time out and had numb feet half way through my 5k. Overall I love these shoes!

This is my first time trying Altra shoes and I love them! I was sent this pair of Torin 7 in exchange for my opinion on them and am so glad I was able to find out and share how amazing they are! I love that they feel like walking on pillows-the cushioning is super shock absorbent yet firm enough to cradle my foot just right. I use them for on and off road running and also running errands and theme park days. I love how easy they dry when wet without compromising the integrity of the shoe materials. They take all the pressure of the ball of my foot where I have issues in the past and make the perfect foot health stride for me. I will be a lifetime purchaser of Altra from now on.

Very comfortable and some slight improvements over the 6 make them better! Tongue is soft and comfy again. Back heal is set higher. More cushion. Feels thicker for a smoother ride.

I loved these shoes. The cushioning in the sole of the foot is spectacular and I love the comfort they provide while running. They make it so much easier on my knees. I wear wide width shoes typically because I have wider feet, and these are the perfect width. Overall, these are super comfortable and make running so much more enjoyable.

Great running shoes! I was able to try these out and they are amazing for long walks and runs. They fit true to size and they are so comfortable on my feet even after wearing them for awhile. I would definitely recommend.

I'm obsessed with these running shoes! I feel like I'm walking on clouds! I love to use comfortable shoes while running/exercises and these are it. Makes my feet feel so comfortable after a full day walking on my feet.

I love the improvements to the tongue- it is comfortable in the upper ankle. The shoe is secure feeling, propels you slightly forward. Cushioning hits the "just right" spot!

Enjoyed the Torin 7 todayfirst run in several weeks. Working to get back to it after vacation. The Torin feels good. Sturdy but not too stiff. The tongue is fabulous!!! No more discomfort there.

I wear this shoe as an everyday wear shoe. Unfortunately, the balanced cushioning aspect doesn't work well for me for running (I get tendinitis in my toes!), but I love it for running errands, hanging with friends, and just working in general. The torin has always been my go-to, and now with even MORE cushioning, it's staying on my feet! I usually buy 2 pairs of this shoe, and I will be doing that again.

Best Torin yet. Great all day, every day kind of shoes! Looks clean and fits my everyday attire!

These are very cushioned yet very responsive. I like the color options and they are more comfortable then I was expecting as I usually wear max. cushioned shoes.

Love the Torin 7s! Structure is great, cushion, response to varied surfaces...all of it great. Love the laces! Torin peeps won't be disappointed, new to Torin? You will love them!

It took a few days for me to break in these shoes, and let me tell you, they are so comfortable now! I've used them for light joys around the neighborhood on concrete so far and they've been great.

I love my Altra Torin 7s, they're super comfortable and provide great support for my feet. Several people didn't like the tongue in the 6s and they have changed that for the better. I've run several times in them and love them!

I was dealing with right foot pain prior to running in the Torin 7. I noticed after the first run it felt better. Now 4 runs in, my foot feels great! I love the new Torin 7!

Love the new tongue design, so much softer and doesn't dig in. Torin is already a cushiony shoe so I don't think it needed the the extra cushion from the Torin 6. It took a few runs to get used to it, changing out the cushioned socks for a non cushioned sock helped. Overall, I love my Torin's and this is a great shoe!

I was honored to test this shoe and give my review! I feel after working out several times in this tennis shoe that this is the best Torin shoe yet! The very first thing I noticed was the extra comfort on the tongue of the shoe there is extra padding there. This shoe is very comfortable and very true to size! I would totally recommend this shoe all the way!!

I have 4 pairs of the Torin 6. Right out of the box, I now want all the Torin 7s. The adjustments in this latest iteration made my already favorite shoe even more comfortable. Well done!

i've been waiting for the Torin to get more cushion! If you were a fan of the Torin plush then these are pretty similar to them! You can definitely feel the extra cushion underneath your feet without it being too heavy. The tongue update is also super nice! I would suggest sizing down a half size. Mine ran pretty big in my true size, otherwise everything else is perfect!

I've been a fan of Altra for years, and have worn the Torins for many a marathon training cycle. The Torin 7s are a fantastic upgrade to an already great shoe. They redesigned the tongue and the sole and several other features, and it provides a smooth ride with enough cushion for miles and miles. These will be one of my top shoes in the rotation! (Note: I was seeded early release shoes free)

Torin 7 has the comfort, support, and performance all in one shoe! I am an over pronator. Torin 7 provides a roomy and comfortable fit, excellent support, and a cushioning system that strikes the perfect balance between plushness and responsiveness!

I love the cushion in the Torin 7!! It feels so soft, but still very light and responsive. The upper is buttery soft and amazing! I'm so excited for more runs in these!
