Fallen in love, they fit me perfect. Feels supportive yet with the right shape all around especially in the toe box.

I have a "duck foot", toes that are wider than my heel. I typically wear an 8.5, but I have a 9 and think that is right for me. This is the first running shoe that doesn't make my toes go to sleep!

I purchased these shoes back in July '23, and they are awesome. I have plantar fasciitis and after running exclusively in barefoot shoes since my 20s, I guess my 40 year old body decided it was time to get more cushion. My feet hurt so badly. I read and read about different shoe options, and decided to give these a try. On my first run out, I dropped 30 seconds off my mile and I got home with zero pain. They have lasted as long as expected as I wear them all of the time, not just when running, so seven months in it is time for a new pair. The only thing I wish was a little, fractionally different is how much space there is from the bottom of the sole to the top of my foot. If you wear a sock with any amount of thickness, the laces are going have a hard time tying, and there is a little bit of pressure. However, if I wear just my regular thin running socks, no problems. Which seems fair.

I use this shoe for Crossfit classes and weight training. It is supportive, flexible without coming off of my heel, and I didn't have to break them in. They fit great right out of the box. I have a very wide foot and high instep with my big toe being my longest toe so a comfortable shoe can be hard to find. These are great for my foot shape.

I would go barefoot 24/7 if I could. That being said, these shoes work for me in every way. They are supportive, cute, and allow my feet to breathe and function as though I am barefoot. I'm so thankful the shoe store suggested this brand and I'll never wear another brand of shoe.

Switched from Hokas after reading a lot of information about why a wider toe box is crucial in promoting foot health. Loved my Hokas for years. Not bashing them, just decided to try Altras. These fit my narrower heel, and the toe box is wide enough for toes to move. Great right out of the box!

I am a definite under-pronator with fairly narrow feet and past injuries and these shoes have perfect cushioning and stability that keep an old fracture in my left toe/metatarsal area and from hurting and keep my feet in a neutral position, keeping an old right ankle ORIF from bothering me. I was debating between the slim fit and original fit because I have trouble getting other brands to feel secure on my feet, but so far, the Torin 7 shoes are a great fit.

This is my first pair of altras. I love them. Very comfortable. I wore to Zumba and on the treadmill and they were perfect for both. Highly recommend!

I love how much more comfortable these are than my original Torins. It's nice that ultra understands that not everybody runs, but there are a lot of people like myself that work out at home doing aerobics weights dance, and so forth and need cushioning under the ball of the foot which is exactly what these sneakers provide.
My only wish is that ultra would make multicolored sneaker or something a little bit more done up but other than that I am a tried and , true ultra owner, and will continue to be

I use these shoes for walking and love the comfort and support they give me. I am grateful that Altra still makes this model and the Lone Peak in wide sizeswith the original foot print. For those with wide feet and bunions (like me) they are a lifesaver.

I have narrow feet and have always had difficulties finding any type of shoe in an 'A' width. When I found these at a local sneaker store, I was so happy, especially since they were available in the blue! The medium fits almost perfectly. The ankles are a little too high and hurt at first, but now they don't bother me. I'm so glad I tried these on. So, have you considered making this in a winter snow boot? I'm striking out with getting anything to fit. ;-)

I was wearing Sauconys for years and was losing toenails and had bad posture. I'm on my feet all day at work so I switched to Altra Torins four months ago--so far, big fan. My feet are wide-ish and flat-ish but I didn't think I needed a bigger toe box until I tried these. (Tried Brooks before but the big toe box was overshadowed by how narrow the rest of the shoe was and ended up hurting my feet.) Now my toes can breathe, posture is better, and I can fathom going for a run after work. They are my work shoes, my running shoes, and they are slowly becoming my going-out shoes... oops. Thumbs up!

The toe box allows for your foot to be as it should, tors spread evenly on the ground. At first the shoe didn't feel as pillowy as I'm used to, but after logging a few dozen miles, I can confirm this shoe is comfortable and durable. Once you try a bigger/normal toe box, other shoes won't feel right.

Unfortunately on this particular pair of shoes, the laces were so short that I was unable to tie the shoe! There is a problem with these laces that you need to check before sending these out to another customer. These were in an unmarked box, so I have a hunch that they were already sent to another customer who also returned them. There is nothing wrong with the shoe, but they cannot be tied. I do not have a wide foot.
I'd also recommend:
I really like this brand, Altra, Keen and Merrell.

I need a wide toe box and have worn another brand for the past year. I appreciate the generous cushion and the feel of considerable support. My legs feel great too!

I have plantar fasciitis and a small bunion forming & these shoes were recommended by my PT. They’re zero drop, comfy, open toe box, and great for walking.

I love these sneaks. I don’t get some of the negative reviews—I guess shoe comfort/fit is really personal. But for me (mild/moderate bunions, beginnings of hammertoes, & painful metatarsalgia) these are perfect. I wear them as my everyday shoes—don’t run in them—but wear them regularly. And they are really helping my foot health. Metatarsalgia is getting better, hammertoe is flattening, and feet are generally happy even on super long walks. Plus they’re pretty ok looking in the white. Word of advice: size up a half size.

The only issue I had was the outer cushion under the lateral malleolus was too high and rubs against that bone. More so on my left foot than right. High enough socks help.

These sneakers are incredible. So comfortable and so cushioned, right out of the box. I've been dealing with metatarsal pain and they are a huge help. I feel very little pain at all and they're lightweight and supportive.

Have always loved the Torin and pumped to see they fixed the sharp tongue issue and added some more cushion, since I wear these for longgg runs. Never had a blister in a Torin! Just size up!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Altra shoes! After wearing Hokas for years I made the switch to Altra due to the wider toe box and zero drop features. My feet no longer hurt after working a full nursing shift!

The fit and size was perfect, and the Torin 7 was well cushioned and all around comfortable. I have decided to return the shoe because I really need a stability shoe for my over pronation. The Torin 7 is a neutral sneaker and I didn't quite realize that at the time of purchase. I would definitely not order up a half size as these are definitely true to size
I'd also recommend:
I would still recommend Altra or New Balance

My first pair of Altra's were the Touring 6 and I fell in love with that shoe. The Touring 7 shows up and I have fallen in love all over again. I will say I love the shoe tongue better in the 7 than the 6. The 7 comes through in the ultimate comfort level for me. I have 2 other pairs in my cart currently and soon I will complete the family.
