For years I have been searching for shoes like these! Out of the hokas, onclouds and asics I have tried, these are by far the MOST comfortable shoes. I have Plantar Fasciitis and these are amazing and I feel no pain. A lot of shoes I have tried with cushion bunch my toe and push my foot forward when I walk. The design of these sneakers compliments the natural stance and form of my foot. I now can walk miles without feeling any pain or discomfort. This is my first time purchasing Altras and I will never buy anything else.

I'm a nurse and am on my feet 12 hours a day. My feet feel great at the end of my shift, I've never experienced that with any other sneaker I've tried

Use them every day for walking and they are extremely comfortable!!! Love the new design! They look great too!

I was selected to try this shoe for free in exchange for a review. That being saidI have worn torins for a number of years now. I loved them until the last 2 remodels. 6 was by far the worst. I could literally wrap the tongue around my foot with fabrics to spare. The whole shoe was horrible. The 7s are AMAZING!!! The tongue is back to normal. The shoe fits perfectly. My feet are happy. My hips are happy. The only con is the shoelaces suck. You definitely want to replace those. (Now if they'd only fix the mess they made of the paradigmmy go to distance shoe). Thanks altra for listening to your customers and fixing the torin. I'm buying 5 more pairs. #sweepstakes

I received these shoes in exchange for my honest feedback. I'm an avid runner I'm running on the street, trails, or treadmill 5 or 6 days a week. These shoes provide a level of comfort and support I've never experienced with any of my other high-priced running shoes. I feel like I'm running on air. The shoe is well made and durable. I've put them to good use and they function just as well as the day I received them. I will say might not be as stylish as other brands, but they serve their function better than any of those other brands ever have. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for any runner looking for functionality and comfort while on the run!

Great for walking! Super bouncy and comfortable

Love walking in this shoe. It is light and very spacious in the toe box. Zero drop allows for a nice, natural step.

Enjoy walking in this shoe and everyday with this shoe but not a good running shoe for me. Not the shoe, just need half size smaller to really know how it would perform

I have used these for causal outdoor walks, lifting, and treadmill running. Zero hip pain! No blisters! Instant comfort. I did have re tie my laces while running. Love the toe box!

I am on my feet all day at work! I love the cushion that the Torin 7 provides. And you can't beat the toe box!

This is my 3rd pair of Altras. After trying the Rivera and Outroad, which I love! I saw these colors and wanted to try them out and my goodness!!! I now want to wear these everywhere. Even got my husband a pair that he loves now too! I will continue to recommend!!!

I've been a fan of the Torin for years and this is the best model yet! A big improvement from the previous version. I love them for long runs. They are my go to shoe for IRONMAN training. The 7s are light weight, supportive and super comfortable. Highly recommend!

I am a true 8.5 size. When I order sneakers online, I am bound to find that they don't fit, despite being marked 8.5. Either too wide, too big or to small. Imagine my surprise, when I tried this new to me brand on, and they fit to the T. They provide even cushioning support, super stylish (black and white go with everything) and I started using them everyday for walks. I found a brand I can always confidently buy online, and know they will fit.

I am 50-60 miles in so far. I loved the heel to toe cushioning from mile 1. The higher sides took a few days to get used to, but now I love it. The wide toe box feels so natural. I really love them.

First, I received a pair for free to give an honest review after using. These fit like a glove, a foot glove. They were comfortable right out of the box, and did not need to be "broken in" for my first run. They left no blisters. The fit perfectly, as expected. They were cushiony. They were supportive. For me, these are the perfect running shoes. I run on both concrete and dirt and grass throughout my route. All surfaces felt fine under my feet. My feet did not hurt after my run (about 4 miles).

I received this shoe in exchange for an honest review and honestly I would consider purchasing these! I was unsure about having a shoe that is shaped to your foot but I found the design to be very comfortable. They are easy to get on and off and the laces stay tied while running. It feels like you're running on a cloud, they have good arch support and the ankle is nicely padded so no blisters. All around a great running shoe!

I recently decided to take up running and these shoes were recommended to me. They are excellent! Great support so that your feet aren't worn at the end of a run. I would highly recommend these to anyone getting into running or anyone looking for a supportive shoe.

These sneakers were exactly what I was looking for. They are so lightweight! I hate running sneakers that feel heavy when I am outside. These definitely did not weigh me down. I like the design and style as well. They are cushioned well. My feet tend to roll in and I have not had an issue so far. The sneakers are snug enough that I can tell that I have enough support. I am very happy I got to try these sneakers in exchange for an honest review. It is hard to find a good outdoor sneaker, especially when you were previously loyal to a single brand. I now will be a Torin fan for life!

Super comfy road running shoes. Like the extra cushion under the forefoot. Perfect for those longer runs - just completed a 14mile run this morning and had no issues at all.

They're so comfortable and great for running. Really gives you that extra bounce. I'd buy again!

I've had the Torin 5, 6, and now 7 and I'm very pleased. When the Torin 6 came out I was a little disappointed because I felt like the width was not the same as the 5. This has improved in the 7! The 7's also have a more padded sole which is extremely comfortable. It has less of a flat foot feel but it also doesn't feel like a bulky heel. I use them for running and general exercise and have been very pleased so far.

Straight out of the packaging the first thing I noticed was how light weight they were. Once on the cushion which felt like memory foam struck me, then the width. I have a wider foot that is thicker in the area where the laces are, first time I put them on it felt tight in the lace area. But after wearing them all day it stretched and conformed to my feet. I have used them to bike, jog, errands, long brisk walks and just around the house. Prior to receiving these shoes to test I had invested in a pie of On Cloud shoes..and to be blunt I ended up hating the on clouds. Being completely oblivious I didn't realize this was the same brand my husband had bought at REI and loved. We have both said we would not buy any other brand as long as they don't make any big changes. For me if the laces could be a couple more inches longer they would be perfect. I do have allot of feet and toe pain when I wear other brands. I did not experience this with these shoes, it was only slightly uncomfortable with the tightness in the lace area at first. I highly recommend these shoes and hVe recommend them to family and friends, especially my sister in law who is a runner and my daughter who is a weight lifter and lacrosse player.

I really love this new Altra Torin design! Most noticeable is the extra cushioned midsole and spacious toe box, which provides excellent comfort and good spring back even during extended runs, which is pretty impressive. The engineered mesh uppers are breathable but structurally supportive, making this a great multipurpose trainer for other exercise as well! The design looks fantastic - slight height without looking bulky.

It is the first time that I've tried running shoes from them, and I was pleasantly surprised. I think the thing that stood out to me right away is how cushioned they are. I've noticed with pairs of running shoes that I've purchased from other brands, that my feet can start to hurt after wearing them because they aren't plush enough on the sole. Especially if I try to wear them for more than one activity in a day. But I did not have that issue with these! I wore them on frequent runs and walks on pavement trails, and they were great. I did size up a half-size just to be safe, and that worked well for me. I think it depends on how you like your shoes to fit. Overall, I keep reaching for these over other pairs of running shoes that I own. And they look sleek. I love the black color, and the material they are made out of is very breathable. I would recommend giving them a try, and I would purchase from Altra in the future.
