I LOVE the fabric and the colors. They are the summer pants I have been looking for for years! If none the three sizes I bought and tried: 1X or PXL or PL are even a passable fit, maybe it's not me. They went from sloppy big to hip huggers. So disappointed.

When I tried these on in the store, they looked great, but after wash and wear a couple of times, they bagged in butt and thigh area. Kind of wrinkley , material is not soft. Bought a small, and still kind of big. ( normally I wear a medium in other clothes )

These pants are just not as comfortable as the previous ones I have had. Not as soft, not as stretchy. The fabric is not anywhere near as soft and easy to wear. The body fit is just a bit short for me, but OK. I like that there are no cargo flaps on the outer leg, makes the fit a bit more streamlined. Pretty color; let's see how they are through the summer.

This pant had too much material at the hip line for me so I returned it.

First, the construction is very good and the fabric is a nice weight. They has a nice amount of stretch. The pictures show them as tapered but they fall straight and they are baggy in a larger size. I followed the size chart and they were a bit too big. But even with this I was going to keep them until I stuck my hands in the pockets. They are way too small for the basics like an iPhone or car keys. Not everyone carries a purse! Especially if you're out walking the beach or strolling in the state park. They seem to be designed for looks and not functionality at all. So these can be recommended if don't need use pockets, but if you do, they just won't work.

I bought these to travel. The material is a little strange and I agree with others that the front of the pants is way to big, leaving you with extra unneeded material. They puff out and are not very attractive. The length is also very long.I found this in both the pants and capri's. returning both. I much prefer the fit of the vista pant style.

I have gotten several pairs of these pants. The pairs I've gotten that were made in Sri Lanka fit great. A pair that came, made in Indonesia were more snug in the calves and after wearing for an hour, they bagged in the upper leg. This pair of black pants were also made in Indonesia and I sent them back because the leg was too snug for a pair of socks. Today, I got a replacement pair in Carbon, also made in Indonesia, which fit snug in the calves too. I will keep them because I like the weight of the fabric, but will be looking for a different type of pants, in a lightweight fabric, that fit better. A representative told me that no matter where they are made, they all have the same standards. That isn't what I'm finding.

Fit loose, very wrinkled after washing. Will have to iron after washing.

These pants are okay with the exception of the skinny size in the lower leg and I don't have especially large or muscular calves. There should be room for movement in outdoorsy-type pants and room to wear them during our Maine winters with a base layer. I like the material and the drawstring waist, but the skinny legs are a big disappointment. Please do better.

These pants are really comfortable. I wish the cut of the pant was more of a boot cut. They say they are straight leg, but they look and feel like a taper.

I think these pants are well constructed, but with an elastic waist they are a bit bunch around the middle. Andprepare to do some ironing. They came out of the dryer with legs quite scrunched . They are, however, easy to iron. Whew! I like my pants waist high, and I bought these out of desperation, being unable to find waist high khakis that are full length. They will serve the purpose.

These pants were too baggy in the thighs for me, otherwise the fit was nice. Returned them.

These pants are nice material and comfy, but mine were too big when I received them. I returned them for a smaller size which should have fit, but these evidently run large, so I was disappointed. I also had to pay the return shipping the first time so didn't want to pay it again to get a different size. So I have too-big pants.

I purchased these pants in 2019 and loved them so much I wore them out. Got the same exact pants in 2022 and they are NOT the same. The fabric is less forgiving - don't know why they call it "stretch ripstop" and the cut is too long in the crotch. I had to return the pants and was disappointed with the change.

Maybe should have bought extra small. OK but extra fabric in legs and waist a little large. Suggestion: order two sizes and send back the one that doesn't fit as when you return the original pair you won't remember how the fit is if you try a different size.

Pants are well-made, fit well. I am, however, disappointed in the fabric. My fault, not LLB's. In my mind "ripstop" is nylon, much lighter in weight. If I had read full description I would have seen that this pair is cotton, not nylon. My bad. Undecided if I will keep them or return.

I purchased these last year in the capri length and loved them. This year I decided to buy the full length pants in each of the colors, all in the Petite Extra Small. 2 pairs of pants fit, one beautifully and the other slightly larger. The other 3 pairs needed to be returned because the waists were too large. I measured the waist on all 5 pairs, and they varied by up to 2 inches larger than the pants that fit me. I have a lot of LLBean pants in my wardrobe and in years past they were always consistent in their sizing. This year I've experienced size consistency issues with the capris and the corduroy as well as these pants. Very disappointed in the reduction in LLBean's quality.

I returned these. The fabric doesn't drape well and the styling of the pants seems awkwardly made.

I didn't like the feel the fabric or the way these were styled. They might be a good choice for someone else, but I didn't like them for me.

As a many-decades LLBean customer, I'm happy to provide some help for LLBean in dressing women like me, Baby Boomers and older. I am 81, 5'3" (shrunk from 5'6"), 135-140 pounds. Gravity has affected our middle section, and pants need to fit these bodies. The Ripstop pants would be great if they stayed up, but the cord doesn't reach around the pants, so they slip down; so annoying. I prefer cargo pants, and your Comfort Stretch Pants fit few of us in the waist; at this stage, we need elastic waists in pants. I will be donating my pair of these. My favorites are your Vista Camp pants: elastic waist with full cord, loose fit, 4 pockets plus a cargo pocket. But they are good in warm weather, not cold. Though I like to wear jeans, it's really hard to find ones that fit well, with a 9.5" front rise and comfortable waist, so I haven't tried yours. And please bring back your sweatpants with back pockets. We all need back pockets in casual pants now. I hope that these comments help LLBean for 2026 products since it's probably too late to make changes for 2025. M G Jarvis, April 4, 2025

I'm so disappointed...again. I tried the 2X and they were sooo big so I reordered the next smallest size and again they didn't fit. The waist was fine but Lord o Lordy the hips and butt were just so HUGE! The description says the legs are slim...No they are not. They don't start the taper until nearly below the knees when it needed to start at the waist. It breaks my heart to send them back but here they come...

Even though the fabric is called rip-stop, it is mostly cotton. Fabric shrunk and is stiff, so pants are too short and are not flattering around waist.
