These were shown as sweats. They're definitely not sweats and they're not stretchy. The fabric is mostly cotton (Bean doesn't make a true cotton stretch sweat pants for women. Bummer.) The fabric feels like a canvas. I ordered 2 colors in 2 sizes, XS and S. One of the XS was ridiculously large through the butt, crotch and thighs. I looked like a clown. The other XS was way better and I kept that pair. What's up with sizing lately? I like the drawstring elastic waste for comfort, the pockets and the bonus pocket on outer thigh with flap closure. Was hoping for warmth. These will be for spring.

The fabric is light weight, stiff and always look wrinkled. I have 3 pair of med-petite and they all fit differently

Nice pants but too expensive. They wash well and are sturdy, but again, entirely too expensive.

I was excited to receive these and hoped they would become by go-to casual pants. The fit is fine, although I'm never sure what the little low pocket on cargo pants is supposed to be for. The steel grey is more brown. The drawback for me is that they come out of the dryer so wrinkled they look like they've been compressed in a vice. I'll keep them for in the house and dog-walking.

I am a repeat purchaser of these pants, but they are far from my favorite. The waist band quickly frays, slips down unless tightly tied and always wrinkled from drier.

Purchased them in a light tan color. Fit is fine. Quality is fine. The biggest drawback is how they look after washing. Great for camping, yard work, or a lazy day at home. Definitely not suitable to wear out and about without steaming or light ironing.

I own both long pants and shorts in this style. They are year round comfy and have lots of pockets. I just purchased another pair and had to return them because they were way too baggy. The salesperson told me that lots of their new pants are cut that way. If they are changing a product, they should give it a new name.

I bought these pants in almost every color. I like the length, but the pants are a little large in the rear and thigh areas. The waist also stretches out over time, making the pants seem even larger. I no longer wear them because of the fit. Too bad because I really liked them when they were new.

The fits and bit of stretch in these pants are good. I like the drawstring waist and the choice of colors is good as well. HOWEVER! I'm a 53 year old woman. I love to hike, walk and have adventures and when I do I sweat. Not an abnormal amount but I do sweat. I have two pairs of these pants, as well a the shorts of the same type in a light gray and light olive color. Both have looked like I sat in a puddle while hiking or in sunny situations, like riding on a boat or sitting on the deck on a warm day. I really loved these pants and shirts until this embarrassing little issue popped up. Very disappointed.

The pants are very nice but unfortunately they are too long. a differ pair I bought is too long. LLBeans always fit perfectly for me so this is disappointing. I don't want to have to pay to have them altered! I've ordered the same PL size.

I have ordered just about every cotton pant this spring/summer advertised as a slim leg pant and they are not! I am able to find your slim leg jeans easily yet your cotton pants advertised as slim leg are anything but! I would love to order some so as not to have to wear slim leg jeans all summer; so could you possible put out some truly slim leg cotton pants perhaps by next summer?

I loved the idea of an alternative to jeans for daily wear. I am 5'6 and weigh 120 lbs, so I ordered an XSmall regular inseam, which is my usual size for LLBean. These pants were too large and baggy for me, and there was a lot of fabric in the waistline area which created a bulging poof kind of effect. The legs were a little wider than I would have liked as well. Sadly, just not the pants for me.

I have bought these same pants 2 other years and have been very pleased. This year the size is completely different. I bought a PM as usual and they are too small.

I wish these pants came in a slim version. They are baggy about the thighs and seat.

Nicely made, but fit is not quite right. I have many pairs of LLBean pants, but these are short in the back. Waist of pants barely reaches my waistline in the back. Because they are ripstop, there is no stretch. A larger size wouldn't solve the problem, everything else is okay, I just have to keep pulling up the back.

I am 5'8" and 160 lbs, the Regular L fits great! Sadly the designers didn't measure even a small iPhone for the "cargo" pocket - almost, but not quite, fits. Can't close the pocket, so the phone falls out. Major fail. Will keep the pants, but won't wear them much.

I wear a 30" pant length which these had. The problem is that they sit quite low below my waist which makes my usual 30" inseam too long. I have returned them.

On line, in the photo, this pant looked like a true navy blue. That is why I ordered them, despite the name being "carbon blue". These pants lean towards a gray color and not blue. It's unfortunate because these pants are comfortable, a good summer evening weight, and my perfect fit. Unfortunate that I have to return them at my cost.

I already have a pair of these pants in gray and like them very much. I wanted a second pair in a different color, and THOUGHT they would be navy blue, but they are really just a darker gray. They're fine, but not what I had hoped for. It would be better to call these dark gray - there is barely any sense of blue in them at all.

I gave these only 3 stars because the waistline is super largeeven though I bought the size Small Petite.
I first bought a pair of size small regular and the waistline was just a little too big, decided to try the petite size thing (hoping) it would fit just right, but soon discovered the petite is about 4 inches larger. See picture.

Nice everyday slacks. Run large. Thought they would shrink some. They did not. Wore once and they slip on my waist even with tightening the draw string. Thus sort of baggy on me. Wish I had exchanged for smaller size. Side pockets fit my iPhone14 Pro model.

These pants are stiff, even after two washings which makes them uncomfortable and wrinkly looking right out of the dryer. I am hoping they'll soften up as I like the pockets and color.

I loved the look and feel of these pants, but I can't wear the mid rise design.

Considering the price, I'd expect these pasta to last for years. So comfortable I bought two pairs. However, the seams are showing holes from wear. I'm not heave duty using them, so I'm surprised and disappointed.

I returned them. The rise was way too short even for me, and I am only 5 ft.
