I'd love to love these pants, but why is the rear so low rise? I tried going up a size to a 2x (I had the 1x) and one pair (green) were far too big and the other pair (mauve) barely fit, so sizing is inconsistent.

The pants are very roomy, I should have gotten a smaller size, but they are comfortable. I was disappointed with the pockets because they are not deep enough to securely hold my cell phone. Unfortunately, I washed them before I realized the problem with the pockets, so I didn't think that I could return them.

It is very comfortable but just just way too much wrinkles.

Nice pants but too high rise in plus size for me unfortunately. I sent them back.

I prchased the smallst size in petite, yet, the pants were much too lng for a 4'10" individual and they were very baggy all over. I returned them

These stretch ripstop pants wrinkled and it is hard to get the wrinkles out. Also, they had to be shortened because they were too long.

The fabric and the construction were great, but the cut/fit was too odd and way too large in the hips and waist.

Like them style and fabric. Not the fit. Fine in the waist. Baggy in the hips.

After speaking with customer service I had expected these to have a small amount of stretch. I found them rather stiff and uncomfortable for my active lifestyle. I have returned them..

The pants (both of them). would have been a perfect fit for a 6 foot woman but i am 5.5" tall so there was no way i could ever wear them. Need to make pants a little more for the average height.

Not tight enough around the waist. They are constantly slipping down even after tightening the draw string. Color and fabric are great.

I have 5 or 6 pair of these and I love them but the knit fabric at the waist deteriorated on all of them.

These pants fit well, but I am not happy with the way they look after laundering. Even though I dried them on low heat and removed while still damp, they were quite wrinkled. They need ironing to be presentable.

It is called ripstop- but being cotton and spandex I had not expected such a stiff, crispy, nylon-like, un-breathable feel. Fit was quite good- I like the slimmer leg, and they are more flattering than many drawstring-waist pants especially at the back, but the front gathered look is not flattering- and it feels as if the crotch would chafe.

These were mixed results. The material is too stiff, but was better after a couple of washes. The style was nice but did not fit all that well. I kept them because they were light and airy for summer weather.

Very short in the body, leaning over exposed gluteal fold. It's going back. Leg length and material was fine

I was so disappointed to find that these pants had minimal, shallow pockets. I can't fit my phone securely in any of them, nor will my usual pocket contents be safely contained. So I haven't been able to wear them yet. This problem is a real departure from the other seven pairs of LLBean pants I have, in various materials. The pockets have always been generous and deep.

These pants are Very long! I had to hem them about 4 inches. The elastic waste is very snug - but a larger size would be too large. The material is lovely.

I ordered my usual size Large that turned out to be too big. I returned for a size Medium which fit. I ordered another pair in a different color in the size Medium and they were much too big!?! I like the fabric and style and wanted to order several colors, but this won't be happening because of the inconsistency in the sizing of the same item within the same size range and the inconvenience and stress of continually having to return and re-order. Very disappointed in the decline of LLBean's quality control and consistency.

I have purchased at least four pairs of these pants. The first three fit well, and loved them. But I bought a replacement pair late last year, and the "rise" is so different I can't wear them. They are more of a low-rise than a mid-rise, and I find these very uncomfortable when I sit down, and so just unwearable. I did not try them on, as they were to be a spare for ones I had already (now very worn out...). I don't know if this was a style change, or just a mistake, but now I am reluctant to order another pair.

The pants were too short and didn't fit well. The paper labeling for a Medium Regular ( what I ordered) was correct. But the label sewn into the pants said it was a Medium Petite. It was also the wrong color . . . I ordered a light green color and received a light blue colored pants! The good news , however, was that my local L.L.Bean store took the pants back and refunded my money. By that time, however, neither the store nor the online catalog had the color I had originally ordered.

Love the fabric but the fit was too baggy. I ordered the small size but they were still too loose.

Sea Green pants and Sea Green shirt are NOT the same color. Good fit and quality but not the outfit I was hoping for.

I bought the Women's Stretch Ripstop Pull-On Pants last year. I loved them and was happy to bring them on a recent trip to Seattle. When I returned home I noticed the waist band trim had a hole in it exposing the elastic and the twill trim on the pockets is showing signs of fraying. I expected them to last more than one season. I followed all washing instructions and line dried them. I still recommend this item and hope it's just a fluke that the trim isn't holding up as well as the rest of the garment.
