Takes care of my pronating problem. I do not run only walk. I can truly say the Ariel model has changed my life. I keep all three colors in my closet. Exchanged 3 model 18 for 3 model 23. Fantastic. Wide toe. Long laces. Side support. Every time I see an elderly lady, like myself, limping, I am tempted to give my Brooks lecture.

The shoes are quite comfortable and I enjoy them. I am a walker but do enjoy the fit and comfort of Brooks shoes, I have quite a few pair and I like all of them.

Love my new Ariels! I have flat feet that overpronate and since discovering this shoe two years ago, I'll never go back. The only thing I wish is that there would be more colors to pick from.

I have been wearing this style of Brooks ever since I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. That was back in 2014. It is a comfortable shoe that solves my foot concern. Please keep making this style. Could use a different color or pattern.

The Ariel 23 is long overdue. This is my 6th pair and my feet & I both love them!! They're great for me as I'm an over-pronator & need both the maximum stability & cushioning. The Ariel 23 seems to guide my feet toward the proper stance more than the previous Ariel 20's did. (More colors would be great as I usually wear jeans.) I wear them around the house & walking along with firm compression knee highs for varicose veins. It's a great combo for me. Thanks for again making a great shoe!!!

As always, I love my Brooks Ariel sneakers. I have issues with my feet and back and these sneakers have great support. My family of 5 all wear Brooks.

I am loving these Ariel GTS 23s! They fit true to size and don't run too narrow. I have a wide toe box and these fit comfortable for hours! I have worn these while out casually running errands as well as training indoors and running 3 miles. They work great in any situation. The insole has a lot of support and has a good cushion that helps keep your feet comfortable for hours! The soles have a decent grip and don't feel slippery when on smooth or wet surfaces. I love the clean design and the fact that I can wear these with a lot of different outfits.

I like these Ariel GTS 23 shoes! In recent years I've purchased shoes with less drop so I thought they'd feel clunky but they were very comfortable and had great support. I'm pregnant and need good support so I liked that feature a lot. I use them for casual wear or walking at the moment, but will take them for a run after baby is born. I love that the colors are more subtle that some other women's shoes. They are super neutral and still look sporty or casual. The fit is great and I find them true to size, even with swollen feet and ankles they fit.

Brooks Ariel GTS 23 shoes are a great investment and have all the elements I look for in a running shoe: lightweight, cushioning, comfort, support, and an impeccable fit. Having struggled with ankle and foot arch pain, these shoes proved to be a game-changer in preventing these issues. My runs primarily take place indoors on a treadmill, and I've seen a big difference since wearing these shoes. My strides are longer and I enjoy running so much more. The generous width in the toebox is often overlooked but is an aspect I appreciate. The versatile color combination also pairs well with various outfits and the materials are of high quality. They run pretty true to size and requires no breaking in. The only thing that I would change about these shoes is that they tend to look bulky but it's not a big deal to me. What sets these shoes apart is their capacity to deliver comfort and stability, not just for physical activities but also for everyday wear. They are very comfortable to wear all day long. I would highly recommend them!

I love these shoes! I go on walks with my kids and these shoes have been so comfortable to walk in! I also think they are right on trend and look great with active wear. I was skeptical at first because they looked like they were a bit clunky, but they are lightweight and super comfortable. They fit true to size!

I don't really do "running" in the traditional sense of the word, but as a busy mom, I do a lot of running errands! That was my main purpose for these shoes. From the get go, I loved the fit. They fit true to size and have rigid ankle and lateral supports built in. There is enough cushion for the shoes to be comfortable for long term wear throughout the day (another huge win!), and the fabric upper on the tops of the shoes is breathable. For the shoes I have in particular, I love the touches of color rather than a loud, bright pair of shoes. My favorite feature, though, has to be the thick tread on the bottom of the shoes. The grip it provides to all different terrain and flooring types is phenomenal! The only downsides to these shoes for me personally were that the light color of the shoes picked up the grass and dirt marks quickly and the lack of a finger loop at the heel of the shoe. These personal preferences were not enough for me to mark my rating down, however, because the support and other features of these shoes are just that quality!

I really liked this shoe. It's very comfortable, easily wine all day long running errands around town. I'm currently pregnant so I only used it for walking, but plan on using it for running after baby. The shoes were so stylish and neutral enough to go with any workout or causal outfit. The shoes had EXCELLENT support, they are so comfortable on your soles. I feel like the shoes fit true to size, there was some slight tightness around the top on my feet, but that may be due to pregnancy feet swelling! I would recommend these shoes to any busy mom wanting suppo try all day long!

This is THE shoe - Introducing my new favorite shoe! Without a doubt, this is the one. The comfort is unparalleled lots of sole support and a perfect lift for running. I also wear it for lifting. Plus, it's an excellent choice for people with wider feet like me. I'm officially switching to this brand, more specifically- this shoe from now on. Not only is it practical, but it's also stylish and flattering. With a closet full of shoes, I'm telling you, this one is my absolute favorite!

The Ariel GTS 23 is the most comfortable walking shoe I have ever worn. The second time I wore the shoes, I wore them for 13 hours and walked over 27,000 steps! My feet were not sore at all by the end of the day, or even the next day. There is great support for the foot, and has a lot of cushion, especially in the heel. The shoes offered good support, and are great for road or trail walking. I like the light color of the shoe and how neutral it is. There's nothing I would change about the shoe, as of now. I think the Ariel GTS 23 shoes are great walking shoes, or perfect for those who are on their feet for a good portion of the day. I would highly recommend these shoes!

Omg I love these shoes!!! I've been wearing them solely during my 3 mile daily treks and these shoes feel super light on my feet and the guide rails have virtually helped eliminate the lower back pain I used to have from my previous two pairs of running shoes. (I have recently gotten more serious about training so I've only been doing it for a year) I feel like they're definitely excellent for beginner to intermediate runners who may not have the best posture naturally. I also wore these shoes in a bubble run where they got super muddy I just tossed them in the washer and they got pretty clean! I wouldn't say good as new but they def got way cleaner than I thought they would. Overall I'd def recommend them and found them to be super comfortable and also more stylish than most running shoes! And these pics are after I washed them post the muddy bubble run

I am obsessed with this shoe and it's my new go to for literally running, workouts in general, errands, sports activities with my kids, you name it. I love the colors which are a light gray with black and pink accents. I'm not usually a person who leans towards pink but the details on the shoe are just enough to make it feminine. It's sporty and fun and absolutely so supportive for running and workouts. I don't run quite as much as I used to but as I'm getting older I find I need greater support in my workouts and the cushion support on the insoles of the shoe are amazing for that. I've gotten compliments on them wherever I go. The sizing is spot on and I find it hugs my foot so nicely when I'm doing any activity. I would absolutely recommend these shoes to anyone and it's definitely going to be a pair that I run into the ground.

I am so so so grateful for these shoes. I have very bad heel pain and these shoes have brought my pain down to almost nonexistent in just a few weeks. They are super comfortable and there is a lot more room at my toes than I expected. I think this is what adds to the comfort of the shoe. Also, if you roll your foot while you walk like I do, there is a thicker mechanism on the side that helps to prevent that. The design is very cute and I love the pop of pink. Seriously get these, they are my new favorite shoe.

I have 3 pairs of Brooks running shoes and these are my new favorite and the most comfortable by far! Exceptional cushion and stability, great for long walks and evening runs and comfortable enough to wear from the time I leave the house in the morning until after my run at night. The color and design are the best that Brooks has put out thus far, in my opinion! Another great shoe that is now going to accompany me to my next 10K!

This will probably be long. If you've ever owned a pair of Brooks, skip the first paragraph because you already know. I'm a runner, and have been for a couple of decades. I've tried a large variety of running shoe brands. I have a few leg problems -- bad knees, shin splints, plantar fasciitis. Brooks shoes are the best running shoes I've ever owned. They're better than most orthopedic shoes for everyday walking as well. I'm currently pregnant with our third child and my body is struggling a little bit. I stopped running but started getting lower back/hip pain, shin splints, knee problems, and plantar fasciitis just from being pregnant. These shoes make it possible for me to keep up with our two kids with practically no pain. I know the price point is steep, but when I compare that to how much I've spent on a chiropractor during pregnancy in the past, it's a no brainer. For the runners: When I first tried these there was so much padding towards the inside top of my foot that I thought the arch support was in the wrong place. I tried running in them and realized that's extra padding where my foot strikes the pavement, which is awesome. It only took me a few hours to break them in and I love them now. I definitely recommend these shoes. I'll be living in them throughout pregnancy and maternity leave, and using them as running shoes afterwards! One more thing -- if you are between two sizes, size up. They're pretty true to size but are just a tiny bit smaller than some of my other shoes.

This shoe was much more accommodating to wide feet. I have never felt any soreness or numbness as I have with other models of Brooks and shoes in general. This shoe has Greta cushioning for both walking and running. Particularly in the heel. I like the design, I feel like it's simple and modern. I could do without the bright pink because I like more muted colors in general as I don't only wear them with pink. I have worn this shoe all day many times and it is extremely comfortable. I am most grateful for the roominess and the cushion so I keep wearing them despite wishing for a different color scheme.

I have been buying the Ariel shoe for many years. I haven't cared for some of the styles (Ariel '20 for example) but need the support. The GTS23 is a nicer looking shoe and is every comfortable, right out of the box. So far, these are great. Thanks!

This model Brooks has always fit very well. I'm still trying to find the right size with the most recent model (thank you Zappos). I'm usually a 9 1/2, which was too small- both the wide and the medium. I've sized up to 10 but it is also quite short. Walking around house for now but may have to keep trying. I like the look of the solid black on the white sole, and it has good support.
I'd also recommend:

Love the shoes, but I wonder if they run a bit small. I might decide--soon--to exchange for a size 10 to create a slightly bigger toe box.
