The fit is good. I have trouble finding shoes that fit in length and width. Love these shoes.

This is the best Brooks tennis shoe I've tried so far. The comfort and support of this shoe is exactly what I needed.

This shoe is the best Brooks shoe I have purchased. It is very well cushioned and feels like you are walking/running on air. I will buy another for sure.

The shoe offer's support it was recommended by my podiatrist for plantar fasciitis. I have high arches. I wish it came in all white. I'm a teacher and need cute colors that match street/casual clothes. The black goes with a lot of my jeans.

These Brooks are so comfortable. I have sore feet most of the time and have had bunion surgery on both feet. I need support yet some cush on the bottom for my feet and it is provided in this style! The shoes are also very pretty. The light tan with a bit of light light blue are attractive and the style can be worn with anything and any color!

I have yet to find an arch support that fits my high instep better than Brooks' Ariel series. The Ariel 23 tread has big improvement over Ariel 20. Ariel 20 sole was bad about retaining stones in tread. I scratched my floor several times because of this. I have worn my Ariel 23s for over a week and yet to bring in a stone from outdoors.
I'd also recommend:

Very happy with this shoe! I was having a terrible time with over pronation and pain with running. I saw a podiatrist who is also a runner. He recommended switching to this shoe, along with an orthotic that he prescribed. This has made a tremendous difference for me. I will definitely continue ordering this shoe for running.

Very comfortable roomy enough for my toes. Comfortable walking in. Ariels are new to me, but I feel like they're gonna be really good.

My Ariel GTS 23s fit like a glove, with no need to replace the insole. Has very good balance between cushioning and support. I have adrenaline GTX and Ghost. Prefer these Ariel without a doubt. I am a supinator and with other brands need a wide with. Howvwer with Brooks a standard 8 has been consistently perfect. I just with the Ariel had more color or pattern options like the other styles.

I got the grey/black/pink color. I have EXTREMELY flat feet, over pronation (I basically walk on my ankles), fissures and arthritis in my feet/ankles. Walking is excruciating after 15 min. regardless of shoe type. This shoe was recommended by the salesman who sized and fitted my feet in these shoes w an Aetrex insole. Immediately my ankles were supported off the ground, my posture improved, my lumbar back pain and foot pain disappeared. I've worn these for two days inside my home as well as walking around doing errands, shopping, etc. Things which before these shoes, I could barely do one thing a day before pain and exhaustion ended my day. They're wide enough but not too wide, I have average width feet size 7, they fit true to size. I am in awe w these shoes!

I have been wearing Brooks shoes for many years, mostly the GTS Adrenaline, but recent versions were pressing on my feet at the base of my big toes, causing pain. I called Brooks and and reached an employe who sympathized, agreed that recent versions were tighter across the front area, and understood that I couldn't just get a wider size, as as my narrow heels would then slip out. He recommend that I try the Ariel, for slightly wider toe area but no other wider areas. He was right. They fit well. Arial is now my Brooks style of choice.

I don't use these for running, but I use them for work, in a warehouse on concrete for 11-12 hrs a day. The support Is great for flat feet. I've been through a dozen different brands until now. No more aching under the toes or on top of foot. Definitely worth the money.

I am not a runner but I love these shoes for everyday wear. I buy Ariel because they are wide enough to accommodate a rather large bunion. I like Brooks shoes because of the support offered in the shoe. Only thing I find frustrating is that the shoe color shown in the picture on this page is not available in my size, last I looked hardly at all. Love that color!

I ordered this one after returning to Brooks from a several years delay. I love this shoe. In my opinion, it's best for walking and standing but not running. I wear Glycerin for running. The Ariel is great for stabilizing my foot using built in arch support, and the GTS really helps balance you to battle fatigue. It also helps my plantar fasciitis issue not get worse. I wear these all day!

I really like these shoes. I am not a runner so not able to tell if they are good for that. But they have helped with back and hip pain, which is a huge improvement over the others that I have.

I have been wearing Brooks shoes for decades. I'm so glad Brooks returned to this last and support. The last two versions of Ariel/Beast did not work for me.

The 2E are the best. I have tried Hoka and NB and the room in the toe box is not the same as the Brooks Ariel. I would like it if they were more colorful like the Hoka or a little sleeker but comfort wins out over style!
