I wanted to love these, I really did. I have plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis - these shoes made it way worse. By the second day of wearing these during my 10hr shift, I literally was in tears. Its never been this bad!!! Also, these shoes hurt my arch so badly. If youre worried about them hurting your arch or flaring up your plantar fasciitis, dont get!!

I'm a walker and bought this shoe for walking and daily wear. I have bad arthritis in my knees and ankles, so I need a comfortably cushioned and supportive shoe. While the Ariel GTS 23 is attractive, I found the sole to be very hard compared to last years model's too hard for me. The shoe laces are also difficult to adjust. I purchased a wide due to my high instep. The toe box and heel were just right, but the tongue isn't wide enough to cover the whole top shoe enclosure, so the shoe strings touched the sides of my foot. I also found the length of the shoe strings too scant. So disappointing. Please make a wider shoe tongue and return to the older cushioning system. I returned the shoes.

The shoes fit and feel fine but the bottoms have holes under the toes in just one month of daily wear. I've been wearing the Ariel 20 for years and they hold up much better. I'm very disappointed

Very disappointed. Waited a long time for the update from the 20 to the 23. The 20’s were great-lots of cushioning and lots of arch support. In the 23’s, the cushioning was reduced and there was much less arch support. I had to return them.

The quality is terrible - after 3 weeks of wear, there are holes in the sole of each shoe under the toes.

I have arthritis and plantar fasciitis on both feet. The Ariel 18 and 20 are the only shoes I can wear and so have purchased for numerous years. New Ariel GTS 23 arrived Dec 12th and can't wear them. What changed?? This is very this appointing. Shoes are expensive, but since they helped me, I always purchased. But to buy a pair of shoes that I can no longer wear is leaving a bad taste on my mouth. Please change back to original Ariel shoe.

I have been wearing Ariel's for almost 10 years. You keep changing them and now they are too spongy and not firm enough. I have nerve damage and Sesamoid arthritis and the firm supportive guideails were the only thing I could wear. Please bring back the old style.

Nice cushioning and do not get too hot like my Brooks Ghost sneakers. Also these Brooks Ariel give good stability.

These are my daily go to. I just ordered another pair. I have to buy 1/2 size larger to allow for room in the toe box, but so very comfortable

So happy to find an exact model and color replacement pair for my well worn Ariels! Brooks Ariel provide the best support for feet that cannot decide whether to pronate or supinate. Very comfortable walking shoes. Usual great Zappos experience.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have. I have hammer toes and bunions and I have no issues wearing these shoes. I'm not much of a runner but I walk enough that I would know if they were hurting my feet..

I love the Brooks Ariel. It's a sturdy, made well shoe which is what I need due to back and hip issues. And it has great stability for overpronators like myself.

I've had to go up a 1/2 size and go to a wide from my previous Brooks, though a different model. Not sure if it's my foot getting larger or the shoes being smaller for size. I do like the fit of this shoe now; and the black top with white sole! Because of the wide, it's not the most attractive shoe, but very comfortable.
