Runs slightly large when compared to the Arahi and/or Gaviota. Very comfortable and good for what I purchased it for- damp hikes around the property.

Really comfortable, good support, nice grip, good quality materials the only reason why I don't give it five stars is because the color is not like the picture I ordered them in sea moss/ oatmeal and it looks more like a mint green.

I wore these sneakers walking my dogs for maybe three 2 mile walks on varying surfaces (trails, asphalt). They slide right onto my foot, and they are really comfortable. I would buy them again. Unfortunately, the right sneaker started digging into the top of my foot (defect in tongue), and it started making a loud flapping noise in the sole, which would drive me nuts. So I am exchanging them for a new pair hoping the next pair will not have defects.

Just bought these about a week ago. I walk a lot for work and hike with my daughter all the time so I'm excited to put these through the ringer. I have used Altras for the longest time so this is a big switch fingers . I'll be getting at you if they suck Hoka haha

I've had 2 pairs of these. The first ones had visible Gore-tex and are waterproof. The current ones say Gore-tex but are NOT waterproof by any measure.

Hoka finally aced it. I was waiting for the wide version. It is fantastic. Comfortable. FYI, it feels larger than 13 size. But it is ok if you are hiking for long distances to manage the swelling of the feet. Goretex is definitely a plus. Height is perfect. The heel area is very comfortable.
The only thing I can't evaluate and I have doubts about it is how long will it last. Hopefully my expectation is wrong.

Love the color combination. Difficult shoe to fit my foot. To get the right length)mens 9.5), the shoe feels a little wide in the ball area. While the men's size 9 felt just right in width in the ball area, crested some pressure in the big toe area of the right foot.

These are really nice shoes, sturdy, comfortable, all the things you love about Hoka. I really like the olive color. All that said, still deciding if I will keep them or return them due to sizing.
I have owned a dozen Hokas over the years. A size 12.5, normal width, has been perfect for all of them until now. As others have noted, this shoe seems a bit larger / looser than others. There is a lot of play in the heel area and it sometimes feels like you will walk right out of them. I suspect that a half size down on this model might be the right answer.
I am concerned that on a long hike that the loose feel might be problematic on lgravel, over rocky terrain, etc. I will give them another day or 2 to decide.

After about 3 weeks semi daily wear and many miles in varied terrain, these are very grippy, cushioned, and breathably waterproof shoes. The sole seems more durable than other models from hoka, removing some concerns about longevity. Minus 1 star for feeling more narrow in the midfoot.

I love almost everything about this show, great tread and upper material in particular, but the rear foot portion of the shoe is unusually wide. And this shoe is 1/2 to a full size larger than the Speedgoat 5's I purchased recently. I have to tighten the laced excessively to secure my heel, but otherwise very happy.

The product was a little uncomfortable something with the front part of the shoe maybe the front need to be a little thicker and more cushion not wider but thicker so your not putting as much pressure on the toes for people who have had foot surgery
Also I need you to make me a pair of Tar Summit in a size 12M been waiting for months please

These are much stiffer and harder soled than any other Hokas I have owned before, but I assume that has a lot to do with the materials needed to make them waterproof. I'm currently hoping that they get more comfortable after some extensive break-in period, which, again, is never normally needed for Hoka shoes. They also feel like they might be roughly a half size longer than what I normally get.

I really like the look of this shoe. Fits really good but a little wide at the toe for my foot and I normally take a wide shoe. My big complaint is that these a very costly compared to other similar brands.

This is my third pair of Anacapas, and they are a great combination of light weight and good support when new. Unfortunately they do not last very long before the support and tread is degraded by use. For a shoe this expensive, I expect more durability.

When I initially put on the shoes, it felt a little loose. However, it was comfortable once I started walking. I loved the grip it had when going downhill.
The shoes felt great until I started to do some steep uphills where I zigzagged up the terrain and there was sidewise pressure on the feet. That's when the shoe felt too narrow and like the feet were slipping.
I have 9.5/wide Bondi 8 shoes for my day-to-day walking, and I love them (5-stars). I have a feeling if they had a wide version of this shoe I would have loved them too, and I would have rated them a 5-star as well.
I ended up returning them, and I love that Hoka provided a full refund and paid for the return shipping.

Bought these to use on a trip to New Zealand. Not as comfortable as anticipated, a bit warm and don't seem to be very breathable. Also, they make a squeaking noise while walking.

The shoes size is accurate, the midsole is not quite comfy as I expected, just how hard of midsole like other typical hiking shoes.

A little more stiff and heavy then I was expecting, not quite cushion enough for my taste, it's a very robust hiker was hoping for more of a trail shoe feel but this is essentially a boot Not quite right for me, but if you need a sturdy, low top, these are well-built. I'm a 14 in the Bondi but the 13 was too big so I would size down if you are in between.
