I found that these shoes ran very large. I take a size 14 and own a few other pairs of Speedboat shoes that fit perfectly. I had trouble believing that these were not 15s

These are well made with goretex membrane and the bottom tread is perfect for trails/hiking. The light brown/sand color is amazing! However, 1/2 size too big. I am a 10 in cliftons and a 10W in Bondi. I order a 10D in these and they are waaay to big, even with wool socks. I will be returning for a 9.5 and praying they fit well.

I've purchased good work shoes before, very pricey. This shoe reminds me of a good quality work shoe. I really feel protection between the floor and my feet. I purchased the first pair for work. (Auto Painter) I will receive my second pair for casual. Love them.

Fantastic shoes although the laces don't seem to want to stay tied even when double knotted.

I have several different pairs of Hoka now as my knees have arthritis. They are all well cushioned and easy to walk in. Although I am female, I buy men's shoes because they seem to be more comfortable for me.

I ordered the anacapa 2 low gtx online since I couldn't find them locally to try. I returned them. The shoes were very uncomfortable. They felt too large even with thicker socks on. Also the top of the shoes were very stiff and hurt the top of my feet. I love the Stinson ar 6 pair I have but disappointed in these.

I recently had a foot fracture that required surgery. The doctor recommended Hoka, Brooks, and New Balance as shoe options going forward. I decided to go with the Anacapa as I will mostly be doing walking and easy to moderate hikes. I can honestly say that this shoe delivers on the stability! I was cautious initially after being off of the foot for almost 3 months. This shoe is very comfortable and seems like it will be perfect for the upcoming camping and hiking trips in my future. Highly recommend!

The build quality of this hiker is superb. Having Vibram, Gore-tex and Hoka in a single shoe is a winning combination. The first one means the grip is sturdy and capable, the second one means the fabric will keep out water, and the third means that the fit and feel will be ultra comfortable. The Anacapa GTX Low fits slightly larger than other sneaker-style shoes I have purchased. Normally I'm a men's 10.5 with other brands. A 10 in the Anacapa GTX Low fit me perfectly.

Love the shoe. Was looking for an all day comfort with boot vibes and this was that. Good grip in all weather.

Great shoes

These are absolutely the most comfortable hiking shoe I've ever purchased. I'll be buying another pair (different color) to hike the Colorado trails.

Love how these are ready to wear immediately with no break in period required. I have hiked over rugged terrain (like Guadalupe Peak) with these and my feet were well protected and cushioned. Highly recommended. I hope Hoka keeps making these.
