It's okay, but I don't find it to be a "user friendly" tote and I may return it

The tote design is great - not to big /not to small with lots if functional pocket, but the canvas used to make the tote is all wrinkled and looks terrible for the price. It likely will be returned because of this. PDonahue

The fabric is too rough, especially the handles that rub against your skin. The bag is too deep and too slim; made it difficult to retrieve items inside.

The color was beautiful, however, the tote was impractical. I took it on a trip and found that the bottom was too narrow. As a consequece the tote didn't hold as much as it could have if the bottom had been wider. The tote also wouldn't stand up as it was top heavy. I am sadly returning it.

I love this bag for its compartments and structure; however, I returned it because the length of the bag combined with the straps that are not adjustable just overwhelmed my short frame (I'm 5'3"). I so wish this bag came in a smaller version that was about 12" long/tall and/or adjustable shoulder straps. It would have made the perfect teacher bag.

Unfortunately gonna be a return for me. This bag has super small carry handles, I can't hang in near my elbow comfortably and the shoulder straps are also super short and not adjustable. I am 5'6" for reference, not a tall person. Additionally and most importantly... it's CRAZY narrow! Yes lots of pockets - but if you put anything of substance in them you can't fit anything into the other pockets. I read a positive review that the person's water bottle fit comfortably in the side pocket... must have been a 12 ounce plastic one! The fabric and stitching were as expected and good quality, just kind of shocked at the lack of functionality from an LL Bean product.

Very disappointed in this practical looking bag.no closure.so everything falls out if it falls over, carry handles only work for hands.to short yo put on shoulder, and shoulder strap doesn't adjust ,so, if you are 5'2" and carry the bag by that strap.it hits you in the knee

No words other than GARBAGE !! I hate to even say that, but I could purchase something just like it at a low grade retailer for $20. Was very disappointed and returned.

My husband purchased this bag for me as a Christmas gift last year and I loved it. It was exactly what I was looking for to take to work. I have an office job where I utilize a desktop, so nothing heavier than some folders and basics (phone, keys, glasses, etc). About 3 months ago I noticed that the trim is pulling away from one of the front pockets. It probably was just not stitched together properly, but it definitely detracts from the look. We buy LL Bean as often as possible because of the quality. Sadly disappointed with this purchase.

No! Don't do it! I got my laptop and one notebook in the bag. There's absolutely no room for anything else and water bottle pockets are a joke. I tried putting my wallet in the interior pocket with the notebook and laptop and that was not going to happen. I'd return it if I didn't loose my bean bucks.

WOW...what a disappointment. This is a very narrow, tote, more suited for a laptop. It will NOT fit everything I need for the office/trip to work. Bummer.

Very thin bag, can't hold much despite being long.

Returned it. The base is too narrow to stand up On its own so wasn't practical for my needs.
