I wear a size 6 1/2 to 7 shoe and I bought these in a size small. These do fit that shoe size, but I like my socks with less elastic and looser. They are well-made and very cute, and snug if you want that feature, but I best stay with a looser brand that has less restriction around the ankle and calf. I will probably have to go with a plain unfashionable diabetic-type sock again.

Thicker and warmer than lightweight ankle length version that I have used in summer. Seems a bit short for crew length. I would like to see this fabric in solid colors appropriate for dress socks.

Do these come in sizes? They are too big. I was surprised, but that is my fault for not investigating size further. They are a good quality sock.

These are quality wool socks and they feel and look like they will last a long time.

Extra large is really extra large, as opposed to a lot of socks I've ended up buying in recent years. Also, appear to be made well and feel very comfortable.

Fit and feel were fine; performance seems fine; socks seem a bit warm in summer hiking weather.

I was dissapointed that the sizing was unisex and, thus, ran large. If I had known this I would have purchased size Small. However, the sizing chart said that the Women's size 8-8.5 was a Medium. The socks are diffently larger than a woman's medium! Otherwise, the socks are of good quality.

I love these socks for exercise and outdoor wear. They are very comfortable and the XL's fit my size 16 feet. Absolutely no irritation from the wool. I have only one complaint is that previous pairs have worn out prematurely near the balls of my feet. That makes me replace them more often than necessary. Too bad that I love them.

I bought a larger size but had to return for a smaller one. I am a size 7 women's so needed the small. They seem soft and warm. Looking forward to hiking with them.

Keeping my feet warm in my winter boots down to 0f, they keep my feet feeling dry too which I really love. After three rounds of machine washing and drying though they seem to have shrunk. I might order more if they hold up okay, but I want to see how they do after a few more times through the dryer.

I really like this type of sock. I bought some this summer in one of your stores. I wanted pink again, but you didn't have it. Still they are very comfortable socks. I have sensitive feet so I appreciate it.

Cozy but not the warmest - happy with the color, feel, and price, but it's a little long in the toes and doesn't rank as the warmest socks I own by a long shot.

These work socks have usually lasted about 3 years for everyday men's work sock. This year they were noticeably thinner. We have used these socks for over 10 years & hope they last!

I bought these for my husband to replace the ones he had bought several years ago, which had held up pretty well over the years. He wears them for hiking and for general use. He was disappointed to find that the newer socks are thinner than the pairs he had bought previously, even though both earlier and current socks are labeled "midweight". The newer socks fit well and are comfortable, but he's not sure if they'll hold up as well. For the most part, he's fairly happy with them.

Very comfortable, like the padding. Will buy more if they go on sale, rather pricey at regular price.

Want to wear them all the time but when washed takes too long to dry. But I did find out if turned inside out when drying they dry fine"

The socks are my standby now, even in summer! Best cushioning for long walks, and great to absorb sweat with no odors (well, not much)! The pink and purple colors I found this year are nice but I really prefer the brick red ones I got last year. Please bring back the brick red color, because it's the best one yet.

I've bought Cresta Wool Hiking socks for many many years. I have medium and lightweight. I was disappointed when the design was changed but wanted to give a fair chance. I bought the navy and red, which I gave to my daughter. I wasn't sold on the graphics but my daughter liked them. I bought the medium weight because someone said the lightweight wasn't as heavy. I'm glad I did because I feel the medium weight is about what the light weight used to be. I do think the bottom was also heavier. The new ones were scratchy until I washed them, then they were as soft as the old. They are a bit looser fitting in the foot. Before washing they bunched in my shoe but after not too bad. I wear an eight shoe so I'm not at the bottom of the sizing. The old design had the size such as M for medium and the weight of the sock such as Lt Hike knitted into the inside of the band. The new ones do not which I find disappointing. I use the markings every time I pick out a pair basing the weight on the shoe I am wearing. Also, this means I would always have to buy the same type of sock or I wouldn't be able to keep them apart. I could pair a lightweight with a medium after washing. Overall they aren't too bad but not a 5 star as they used to be. I was a big fan of this sock before. If you could fix the issues they could be a 6 star.

The sizing chart that includes men and women puts me at a M(medium) for my normal size 7. I find them to be too long even after washing them. I would like to see separate sizing charts for men and women!

I ordered my appropriate shoe size for these socks, but they were way too big. Exchanged for a smaller size which ended up being too small. May have had an irregular in the first place, don't know, but ended up returning them both.
