Has LLBEAN fixed this problem ? Does anyone know ?

Nice fit but not too comfortable on the heal. Bought gel inserts but still not completely satisfied with the comfort.

Purchased wide size but still fit snug , shoe is well made ,comfortable but has a rather heavy feeling .

But the fit was fine, Wide shoes are sometimes difficult to find, but Bean has a good selection of all sorts of shoes. My issue with this particular shoe was the look of the shoe, the top of the shoe was metallic silver which did not show up on the website. My friend said he wouldn't wear them. But Im not going to let it bother me as long as they dont hurt my feet, Im fine.

heavy and bulky ,stitching rubs side of foot. Shoestrings way to long. But Solid well built shoes.

Beware the catalogue nor web site indicates the amount of shine on this shoe; the mesh is finished with a glossy appearance that makes it better suited for a child's shoe, Too bad as I liked the fit . If you are looking for your feet/shoes to be noticed buy these. If you are looking for an understated attractive appearance I advise to avoid

The fit is good. Good for walking around and exercising at the fitness center. The mesh upper gets wet quickly walking on wet grass.

Good fit. Comfortable. Have good torsional stability. Laces are good. They stay tied. Only problem is that the soles are difficult to get clean. Walking across parking lots they pick up oils and bitumen which is difficult to clean off. Have to leave them by the door from the garage until they can be cleaned. Even after trying to clean, they cannot be worn on carpet. Unfortunately, that's a deficit which is serious.

Not very comfortable even though size was correct. Boxy styling was not appealing. I returned them.

Did not fit like hiking shoe , but for a casual shoe it is fine .

These shoes are very comfortable and I like wearing them, but I am disappointed that the paint on the side is peeling off.

I have narrow foot, so all medium width shoes fit so-so, bring back the narrow width shoes.

Could have used more padding in the balls of feet.

Good looking shoe but we had to send them back. They are unusually wide and stiff. After wearing a day or two they began to hurt my husband's feet

Ordered for my wife as wide was not available in women's or the styles weren't satisfactory. Didn't need a bunch of fluff and bright colors. Fit is pretty good. Have not worn out yet as the weather in Michigan hasn't been conducive yet for this type of footwear. Seem to be well made. Time will tell. Even though I ordered wide fit they are borderline on that. Hope they will be wide enough.

Very stiff sole. Would have taken awhile to break in. Chose the New Balance shoes instead

The shores are comfortable, but after a few months are already wearing out in the heels. Fit well

Good shoes, good fit (13D) but shoelaces are way too long. Seems like a trivial thing to be worth a 2-star deduction but wear the shoes every day, deal with the extra-long laces every day. It gets old quickly. Hopefully the LL Bean shoelace department will finally take note, as I've had this same problem with other Bean shoes and boots I've owned. Why do I keep buying them? Well as I said, good shoes, good fit; a rarity these days.

Comfortable but not recommended for uneven terrain.

This is my second pair and they seem much narrower than the first pair.

After a day or two after walking my feet hurt. But I do like them.

Objectively: the shoe is built well. Subjectively: Pair purchased several years ago made in Viet Nam were 5+ stars (Perfect). Not as pleased with a new pair recently purchased. Please read for size consistency and quality: Ordered new size 10.5 late winter in the new color: Green. Made in Malaysia. Tight fit. (Keep in mind Bean's catalog still said to order your normal shoe size.) No "toe-cap" in front construction on this pair like my first perfect fitting shoes. Drove 35-miles disappointed to return to Bean's store. Tried a size 11 there; Malaysian product was fine but not the color I wanted. Color desired would not be available for two months. So in May, order a new pair in size 11. Pair arrived manufactured in Viet Nam like my earlier pair. Built with a "toe cap"! This size 11 is a tad big but I'm living with it and lacing tight. Bottom line: Bean's sizing and manufacturing distributors are not consistent. This problem quality control problem could lead to returns that might cost you disappointment and money.

these are not as comfortable as advertised! Very stiff and little ankle support...they're fine for casual wearing but i would not want to use them as walking shoes.

great comfort but the shoe is way to heavy! Tried the shoe out . Felt great but walked an hour . After first 5 minutes the weight was very noticeable
