I couldn't find a way to update my original 9 April 2022 review to 4 Stars, so I added a comment and then wrote this new review. I have just over 350 miles on this pair in 4 months. The photo of the soles show the wear pattern. These are comfortable walkers and still have effective cushioning. The uppers show little signs of wear other than the laces are a little dirty. Some other reviewers complained of the white laces, but I'm not wearing them for fashion and expect athletic shoes to get dirty. The soles show wear-through of the lighter colored material in my typical pattern (heel and ball). I'm hoping to get a year of use (approximately 1000 miles) but will stop using when the cushioning begins to fail and order another pair if Bean continues to carry them.

I find these to be quite comfortable and light on my feet. I'm pleased to have purchased them. Good product. I also like the sporty style.

4th pair of these I have owned. Comfortable shoe. Only drawback is they wear out quickly.

These are well built and comfy! Used for long walks and biking. Only issue is a crease in upper front section from jammed up packaging - hoping it works its way smooth over time.

I bought these shoes in advance of a trip to Europe, and can say after 10 days with a LOT of walking, that the shoes were comfortable, and wore well during our time overseas, and continue to serve well walking the neighborhood. They are good looking (though I'd prefer laces that weren't white), and I am pleased with the purchase.

Comfy, fit good, but really don't like the cream laces.

Comfortable and supportive in walking, but somewhat challenging to put on. The tongue also tends to slip inward and needs to be forcibly pulled out

Good looking shoe but fits a little larger than expected. Moderate support which I corrected by installing a different insert.

I am surprised that even the size 10 is still a little small; but I prefer just to keep it (just a little small) since I have already been charge three times for this product instead of being reimbursed

They look good and fit well (orthotic insole substituted for the normal insole). Nice roomy toe box. I took away one star because of the bright white shoelaces included on the gray shoe. I don't know about the durability, but the color was very inferior to the coordinated color typically offered with the better shoes. It was more garish in person than it appeared on the site.

I bought these shoes for my husband, thinking he would like them, and he did.

The walking shoes are comfortable and a great fit. The only problems are the strange way the top of the shoe is laced and where they were manufactured.

They are very nice shoes but I am sending them back because they are a little large plus, I need shoes that offer a little more arch support. They are light, easy to walk in and breathe well.

The shoes fit well, I recommend more cushioning in the shoes. It will make them more comfortable when walking.

It is an attractive, sturdy shoe and wears well. Husband likes it very much but did not like the "showy" white shoe laces so we had to replace them!

Good fit and quality of shoe. Only downside for me was the weight of the shoe. It feels a little heavier than my other walking shoes.

Nice shoe but why does LL Bean keep putting white shoe laces on their shoes? Last year I bought gray shoes and had to go out and buy black laces, and this year I had to go buy navy blue ones to replace the white ones.

The walkers are very comfortable for taking long - many miles - walks. My only criticism is that the soles are a bit thin. I walk a lot on gravel surfaces and can feel the stones poking into my feet.

Very comfortable to wear. With these shoes I don't need to use the doctor-prescribed custom made arch supports as I have had to use in every other pair of shoes (dress, casual, walking, hiking boots) for a very long time. The method of lacing helps pull the top of the shoes together so these shoes stay on without being pulled extra tight. But the lacing method takes getting used to. I prefer to use matching blue laces rather than the white laces that come with these shoes. Every bit as good and a bit better than other brand name shoes I usually have purchased.

Good shoe, could use a little more padding, but great for walking dog.

The shoes are a little tight, but I think they will work out after breaking in.

Men's Bean's Comfort Fitness Walking Shoes are attractive, the correct size, and comfortable. They are a very good shoe for walking in public places. I don't expect to use them for extreme walking or jogging.
