I've always liked the Big Comfort shirts, and I liked the idea of this even more. Softer corduroy, great color. But TOO short. It needs more length to balance off the boxiness-which is less boxy than the old version-and bring it into a more stylish shirt that could be worn with slim pants or leggings. I am returning it. Sadly!

I have three of these shirts and like them very much. However I am tall and they are not quit long enough in the torso and the sleeves are too short. How about offering them in Tall sizes?

I am very disappointed in this shirt. The size is not the same as other LLB shirts with the sleeves being 2 inches longer than a shirt I purchased a few months ago. The fabric is stiff and uncomfortable. In fact it's so stiff that I can't roll the cuffs up. The color is dull. I will try to return it today.

Fit is fine but the color is not what I was expecting.

I ordered 2 of these relaxed fit corduroy shirts to replace my very old ones, hoping that the pocket issue from past years' customer reviews had been resolved. No, it has not. The pocket fabric does now coordinate with the shirt fabric (in past versions, customers complained about the odd mismatched pocket fabric prints). The pocket runs the width of each side of the shirt front, and it is about 5 inches high. The top of the pocket is not attached to the shirt front in any way. So, the pocket sags badly. This creates a bunched up, wrinkled, droopy looking shirt front. The corduroy is adequate but is not the thick, quality fabric from many years ago. Colors were as pictured (larkspur and foggy blue). That color is the only positive I found. I got these on sale for about $50 each. I have returned them today less my return shipping cost. They are not worth the price. LLBean, you can do better.

I did not like the way the pockets bulged a little around the hips

I have two of the old style shirts- no pockets, and they seem a little shorter than this new. version. I love love love these shirts. I bought a new style a few years ago and hardly ever wear it. It seems bulkier and the side pockets are not at all useful or flattering. Now my old shirts are getting threadbare, and I'd love to replace them. Any chance you might bring back the old classic, and in my opinion, one of your best products ever?

I have 6 comfort Corduroy shirts that I bought many years ago. They are my go to every day. I recently bought 4 new ones and I sent them all back immediately. They are not the same. Corduroy is stiffer, the sleeves (petite) would fit a long armed gorilla. Good grief - why are your sleeves sooooo long. I also don't like the new style, especially the weird pockets .

Not the quality of the ones (many) that I have purchased in the past!! And a strange deep pocket going all along the front inside above the hem that is baggy and bulky. Shoulders are too narrow even though the fit of the shirt is loose, as are all the recent garments tried. I guess it's just another way to skimp on fabric. I returned it and will have to wear those from my old collection. The new colors available are also not like the nice ones that I have bought over the years. The sleeves will be three quarter length after washed and dried. And yet, the price is high, too high for the poorer quality!

This is almost such a cute shirt. But the arm holes are shockingly huge - very far off from "petite XS", and it throws the whole fit of the shirt off. Because the arm holes are oversized, it means that when I move my arms, it drags and pulls on the shoulders of the garment. The shoulders are also a bit too wide/low. Besides the arm / shoulders sizing issue, the shirt is quite boxy and oversized in general. It's a relaxed shirt, it's supposed to be big, but I mean it's bigger than it even should be. I had to cut many threads short on this top as well, especially around the buttons. I love the style of it, but the fitting suggests that no care or attention was put into making the shirt more suitable for petites.

This corduroy shirt is a disappointment. I've gotten several corduroy shirts over the last couple of years and have been very pleased with them, and given as gifts. The quality of this shirt is very disappointing.

Ordered a large. Still very oversized. (I had ordered a sweater in xl and it was perfect, so this shirt runs pretty big) I think the fabric is wonderful. It's soft and heavy and the colors are beautiful. But I washed this and the collar tweaked horribly and ironing is not helping. The hem and binding is twisted and strange. I really thought it would come out a lot nicer. The sleeves are a little short. Could really use another inch or so.

I've had two of these corduroy shirts over the past 10 or so years and loved them til they wore out. Great useful layer. While I love the addition of pockets and I like the color of new one I ordered, the sizing is off and overall quality of construction is not as nice. Also fabric isn't as soft or smooth may return this. Sadly, I seem lately to note this in other Bean clothing and have returned several items

I wish you still made a version of this shirt with the regular shirt tail hem and no lower pockets. It made a nice over shirt. The tunic version of the corduroy shirt doesn't appeal to me. I used to really like these cozy shirts. A better color selection would be nice as well.

Corduroy was rough; not plush cotton as advertised. Last year's model was much softer and more supple. Very disappointed in product this year.

I have two of these big comfy corduroy shirts that are 15 years old. Why did LLB add all those frumpy, lumpy front lower pockets? The whole front bunches up. The pocket is not finished nicely. It flops open inside. Has deep slash pockets from the outside that are huge! You can fit a toaster oven in there! What were the designers thinking? I may return or, cut out the frumpy pockets. I love the color, feel and weight of the fabric. What a shame the style couldn't be the same as the old shirt.

Love the material, just not the color. It's one of those colors that should be tried on in person.

This is my fourth corduroy shirt, the colors are vibrant and the fit great. However, the most recent two had cheap interior pocket linings in a totally different color than the shirt. Since I wear these shirts as an over shirt, open, its just unfortunate that LL Bean cut corners in this way. Not so noticeable on the turquoise one, but looks really tacky on the light coral shirt.

Wonderful fabric, nice color, but I think I need a smaller size and maybe a different color. I say this, because the button holes are so SMALL, that I could not unbutton the coat completely. With great effort, I got the neck button opened without injuring the garment. I was so large I could slip it on, but that is not good enough.

It feels like a much cheaper shirt. It shrunk in washing and the inside pockets are so strange in sloppy in look and bag open on the inside. I bought 2 and wish I had not washed before worn.I would have returned them. Not happy at all with these. Not LL Bean quality in my opinion. I would not buy again nor would I refer these to friends.

The side pockets should have been attached to each front panel. As is, it's bulky and sags. I've never had a pocket design like this. I thought it was an extra inside pocket. Also, this is after my initial washing.

I have several of these shirts (mostly original with two new style). Really miss the original. I find the side pockets useless and add unnecessary bulk. Please bring back the original.

I've never been fond of l l Bean and only shopped because I received gift cards. The shirt looks very frumpy on me. There wasn't too much that really interested me. And seems to be very pricey. Not my style. Well made and the color is good.

This is a warm shirt with pockets. The collar doesn't have any structure or body and always looks wrinkled. It has inside pockets that are large and don't match the color of the shirt. I would not buy it again.

this shirt was very heavy and the pockets were oddly placed at the side seams. Too far back. I was uncomfortable reaching into the pockets
