I have purchased this shirt many times in the past. Love every one of them. But this edition is so poorly made and packaged. I was really surprised because Bean is usually a quality product, from materials and craftsmanship to packaging. The patch pockets were crooked and the collar was askew. It was shoved in a bag and all crunched up with creasesnot good for cordoroy. Had to return it. I'm going to order again, maybe it was just a bad day for the maker!

Like the color. Pockets are totally unnecessary and provide for a very unusual fit. A shirt tail hem would be a better option. Returning this.

The quality of the corduroy top was very poor, and it runs small. Not sewn well and the fabric was cheap. Not used to this quality from Llbean. I'm skeptical of making other purchases from your store now. The quality of your products has gone down.

The sizing of this jacket is way off. It is no way designed for a tall woman. When I tried to ask the actual measurements of the garment and if LL Bean has standardized sizing for Tall clothing, I was told that each manufacturer has its own guidelines and measurements. The sleeves were about 6 inches too short, the width of the upper arm was about 1-2 sizes too small, the armpits came up too high, the shoulders were too tight. The button holes unravelled when I first opened the buttons. The garment color was pretty and the fabric was nice. It was such a shame to learn that Tall sizing is so random with LL Bean.

The sewing of the jacket is very inferior. I returned one jacket for a second one had the same problem. It is not the quality I am used to from LLBean. It in no way can replace the Big Shirt which I have 2 of.I did contact customer service and the reply I got was that's a shame.

Washed first, pockets twisted hard to get flat again. Shapeless, adds many pounds to my chubby frame. Pockets add inches!

This shirt does not fit like the original. It's not as roomy & is longer. Liked the original much better.

I have four of the older style and I just absolutely love them! I purchased a new one and its shorter and the pockets were funky. This isn't anything like the older style so disappointed. This isn't an updated style from last year, LLBean please listen to your customers! Why change a good thing!

I keep trying these shirts, over and over again, because I keep seeing advertising that says "new" and "more flattering." These are the same shirts as last fall. They are too short, too boxy, and the pockets are an epic fail. Bring back the old style, the one that was cozy and soft and "big."

I was excited to see a "new version" of this corduroy shirt. However, it's the same version as last fall, which is a HUGE FAIL. The fabric is beautiful, esp the blue color, however the side pockets, short boxy fit, and tight sleeves do not work. Bring back the old version, which was cozy, soft, and truly a "big shirt."

Bring back the old style, please. I bought several colors in the revamped design when this shirt was brought back by LL Bean. Tried to love them. They all belong to Goodwill now.

Please bring back the old comfort corduroy shirt. This new one is not a more "flattering" fit to those of us that loved the boxy and oversized fit of the old corduroy shirt. It was a winner! Not this one.

Quality of this product is not as good as it used to be! Cheaply made, faded after only a few washes and did not hold its shape very well at all. I am very disappointed. Bring back the old corduroy shirts! This one is High price, low quality.

In the past I have purchased at least 6 of these shirts in a variety of colors. Then it disappeared for quite a while. I was excited to see it was back until I read the reviews of the design changes. This shirt was perfect exactly the way it was so I'm not sure why it was changed. Please offer the old design as I will never purchase the new version. Why make it shorter and add side pockets that add bulk to the hip area? I hope you will bring back the old version so I can purchase more colors.

I have worn these shirts for many years. I was so happy to see them come back. I was so disappointed because the fit is so different. I do not find the new shirt comfortable. It is binding and too short. I'd love to see the original return.

I have so many of the older style shirt. Like many reviewers, I was thrilled that it was back! What a disappointment! The style is too short and boxy and the cuff at the wrist is too narrow. All the pockets are unnecessary. There are no basic colors like black and brown. Please bring the original shirt back!

I adore the 'old' version, and was so disappointed that it was discontinued. Like many of the other reviewers have said, I was thrilled when I saw it had come back, however disappointed in the fit and the quality. The arms are much shorter, and narrower (I couldn't fit a long sleeve tee under it without it feeling uncomfortable). The length is shorter and unflattering, very 'boxy' looking. The side pockets are a joke. I really can't believe that LLBean put something like this on the market. The one positive was that the Admiral Blue color is gorgeous. The 'Fig' color from 2 years ago was spectacular (I get compliments from 20-somethings whenever I wear it to school), please bring it back! And please bring back the 'old' model of shirt! (I think I may have already reviewed this item, if so, I am sorry, but I can't find it.)

What a poor design. I have many of the original corduroy big shirts, lined and unlined. Very pleased when I saw them for sale again. But now disappointed. The fabric is "distressed' in look but not attractive. The design is way too wide at the hips.....THE POCKETS......poorly designed and not needed....flimsy fabric on a heavy weight shirt. No need for two breast pockets on a plus size shirt. Please bring back the original big shirt.

I was so thrilled to find these shirts available again this year after several years without them (Like many women, I seemed to buy a new color each year.) but what a disappointment this pink one is. The color is not even a "dusty" pink. It just looks totally worn-out, and not in a cool, hip way. The new addition of the poorly attached pockets (in a blue color!) only adds weight to the hips, and they're badly attached. But worst of all is the length. This shirt is short! Yes, I know the model is wearing it, but I though to myself, "She's taller than I am, and anyway, I know how these shirts fit." Wrong. I'm seriously disappointed and will be returning this shirt.

I expected to love this shirt as much as the 4 older ones that I have but, unfortunately, I don't. I was excited when they brought this shirt back, but this one is not the same as the previous version. I have to agree with other reviews that the pockets are terrible. They give a bulky appearance to the shirt and are not necessary. I originally ordered two shirts in the same size as my previous shirts but ended up returning them for the next size up and still am not totally satisfied with the fit/look even after washing it. I'll keep this one for wearing around the house, but I did cancel the second one which was on backorder. PLEASE BRING BACK THE PREVIOUS VERSION FOR NEXT YEAR!

I bought this for my wife but when she tried it on she noticed that the material from the side pockets was a non-matching material and just hung down inside the shirt. It looked like she had taken it out of the dryer and a sock had stuck and was hanging down. I expected better quality from LL Bean and will be returning this. Other than that it looks very nice.
