The quality not as the old one , likes very cheap

I had another of these corduroy shirts that I loved and wore for decades until it finally gave out. This is not the same shirt. Fit and style is different and frankly, weird. Back it went.

I own many of the original corduroy shirts, and I absolutely love them. This new shirt is just straight across at the bottom, which makes it very boxy looking, and the fit is so unflattering. The pockets are not sewn in, so if you leave it unbuttoned they just literally hang out of the shirt. Very cheaply made, and not a product that I would expect from LL Bean. Returning this when I can get to an LL Bean store.

I have 2 older shirts like this that I really like but this onenot so much. I sent it back. I liked the saddle color & the corduroy itself but that's where it ended. The sleeves were way too long for a petite & the shoulder seams too wide. The fit was bulky & unflattering. I ordered my usual PS size. What I disliked the most, though, were the side pockets & the awful blue chambray lining. Ugh. If not for that, I might have given the PXS a try.

The enormous (8"X11") inside pockets on this otherwise very nice corduroy shirt make it awkward and unwieldy. If filled I could pack for a weekend trip in them but look like I was wearing a spare tire around my hips. Even empty they prevent the shirt from hanging smoothly. After washing I can imagine the wrinkled denim (and why are they denim?) will cause even more bulk. I have not worn the shirt out of the house. Trying to figure out a way to fix this concern.

I purchased this shirt in 2 different colors. I have 2 older, LL Bean same style corduroy shirts. New ones are not as well made, and new ones do not fit as well as older ones.

Worst made item Ive ever found at LL Bean! No lining inside, pockets just attached to inside... LOOKS TOTALLY UNFINISHED...

Very disappointed in this shirt .loved the style but way too small. I sized up so I could wear like a jacket and it was still way t0 small.

I am just very very unhappy with LLBean. You have gone up in price considerably and the quality is GONE. You don't listen to your customers. The original big shirt was LOVED by so many of us and we asked for it back. And instead you present another version which is so unflattering, who needs 4 pockets? Boxy and the corduroy material is cheap, not like the original. PLEASE PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL STYLE. PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!

I had this shirt for years. I was so excited when it reappeared. Unfortunately, the redesigned shirt with the side pocket with the lousy denim is horrible. I am so disappointed with LLBean and their lack of quality control on a redesigned shirt.

shirt is not fitted well, it appears to be poorly made. Compared to previous identical shirts in different colors purchases several years ago.

Side pocket lining is a light blue fabric, when washed as instucted it shrinks at a different rate than the corduroy, therefore it does not lay flat it puckers. I have removed the lining and closed the side pockets. Side pockets was NOT an improvement. Next time I will make it from scratch.

Not true to size. Has hidden off color inside pocket supports that connect to both side seams and front button seams making shirt tight across bottom.

The corduroy feels rough and the color is not the same as in the catalog, so I returned it, at my own expense.

The redesigned corduroy big shirt is not for me. The cut is slimmer, sleeves too long, side pockets are weird, and the upper sleeve is much tighter. Guess i will make do with my "original" shirts until they wear out or Bean brings back the old design. Ordered two of these and sent both back.

I ordered this twice. The first one was very poorly made, seams puckered, pockets askew. In our pandemic world today, I thought anyone can have a bad day, seamstresses, quality control. Plus, it had side seam pockets! I really wanted this shirt. So I ordered another. It was exactly the same! Sodon't waste your time,

Once upon a time LLBean sold their iconic comfort corduroy big shirt in an array of bright, pleasing colors. They were comfy shirts that looked great and wore like iron. Then they disappeared only to be replaced with this cropped, unflattering, uncomfortable version. Come on Bean! Bring back the older model for us older models.

Corduroy shirts are not inexpensive. This camel colored shirt I ordered came with garish blue denim colored fabric to make the pockets. The fabric was inside but was still very visible when wearing the shirt. It was just ugly. I had to pay shipping costs for junk.I will never order from LLbean again.

i made a huge mistake and washed the shirt before really making a decision about it. If I had not washed the shirt, I would have sent it back immediately. It's not the soft corduroy that I remember from the past and wait til you see the workmanship on the side pockets. On mine, (and they might differ) the pockets were made of a blue chambray. As if the they had run out of the right material. I would not purchase this shirt again.

I have purchased the big shirt for many years. This last one is horrible. The material is tacky and it looks like the pockets are leftover pillow case material. To bad I will not buy my big shirt from you.

You have changed the overall fit and design. My older version of this once great shirt is a smaller size, yet is larger in fit. What? I ordered the new version in a larger size so I could wear it over more layers and it was still too snug. My advice- if it ain't broke don't fix it! While you're at it, bring back the yellow color.

Having purchased an LL Bean corduroy relaxed fit shirt several years ago (which I love!) I was extremely disappointed in the fit and quality of this particular shirt. Compared to my first shirt, the fit was less roomy (because of the pockets?) and the the nap of the corduroy was in the wrong direction, giving the fabric a rumpled, faded look. I was very displeased with the product and returned it for my refund ( minus shipping costs of $6.50) plus the $6.00 fee to ship the product originally. So, I spent $12.50 for nothing but disappointment. Not what I've come to expect from LL Bean!

What a huge disappointment. Not anything like the past 3 I've gotten. Pockets were so big and were a pale blue, didn't go with the brown shirt at all. Ripped those out and had to resew the side seams. Hem is terrible,bulky and doesn't lay flat. Fabric doesn't feel as heavy as the other ones. I wasted my reward points on this. I have noticed lately on past orders that your prices are going up and up and the quality is going down just as fast.
