Love this shirt. I wear it over t's and I have also worn it by itself. I love it both ways.

Like many other reviewers who have purchased and worn the old version for many years I am very disappointed in this new version. I agree with most of negative comments regarding pockets. I have some old regular XL size ones that I still wear. I ordered a plus 1X this time. It is snug around the hips unlike the reg XL. I am not sure all the added pockets are necessary. I have not washed it yet. Hope it doesn't shrink. Overall not as comfortable as old version. I hope Bean goes back to the old version.

WARNING TO OTHERS; do NOT hit RETURN after entering a PHOTO, you will have to start over! I have several of these in different colors, in the version without side pockets, and I live in them all winter. This is LLBean's second effort at adding side pockets, and it too is disappointing. I will not buy another. A suggestion would be to replace the horizontal inside cut with a diagonal cut that reaches up two buttons further - that might hold it in place better. Adding: when I preview, it shows more 3.5 stars; I gave it 3.

Comfortable, great fit and beautiful. It continues to look like new even after many washings. My neighbor's daughter bought her one in sea blue and since it looked so pretty, I ordered one in warm coral and more recently another one in pale rose. Two other neighbors bought one for themselves. Plenty of compliments on both colors that I have. Great job LLBean. Thank you.

A nice comfy layer in the house on cold days, and it will serve as a spring jacket too. Love the teal color. I do have a complaint though - the placement of the lower pockets (on the side seams) doesn't work at all. They should be placed more forward on the shirt. As they are, they force your arms into an uncomfortable position to use them.

Great shirt, so far. I have yet to wash it, so time will tell. My biggest complaint in the past has been with the sleeve length that didn't stand up to the dryer. The sleeves on this shirt were just right and I hope I'm satisfied with the way it washes/drys. So far so good!

Great fit! It is well made, and comfortable. I can wear a shirt underneath or wear it alone and its not uncomfortable. I usually buy a petite but I liked how the regular fit better. It was a little longer on my torso which I liked. I would definitely recommend!

Love the cut and style and I ordered two shirts, One in black and one in green. Returned the green shirt because the color wasnt flattering and a bit lighter than what the website showed.

This is new, boxy style. Like the heft of the corduroy, nice weight for indoors. The new very large front pockets on both sides( 7" by 9.5") seem unusually large and the front fabric sags over the bottom stitching.

Perfect shirt-jacket hybrid, with excellent pockets. Cozy!!

This jacket is warm and soft. I havent washed it yet, so Im hoping it washes with out shrinking. It looks great!

Saw this online and thought I'd take a chance because the pink color is unusual and pretty and I'm so glad that I did. It's very stylish and comfortable. I ordered my usual Petite Medium and it fits perfectly (5'3" and 130 lbs.).

I like these shirts and will probably buy another, but liked the old style better. The second chest pocket, side seam pockets, and the thicker hem make it more bulky than the old style and less comfortable to wear. I don't need 4 pockets as I wear these shirts in the house in place of a sweater. The shirt seems a tad more fitted in the sleeves, but not by much. That being said I still recommend this shirt, but definitely like the older style better. The other option in a corduroy shirt from LLBean is too long. Please bring back the older style.

My first purchase of this style shirt .... after first washing, not using fabric softener, it's stiff and feels bulky. Very happy that I don't have to iron the shirt. Beautiful color. But I want to use fabric softener!

Beautiful pink feminine color, tailored side pockets and STRAIGHT bottom. WOW I am a happy girl..welcome to 2023 styling...

Pros: warm, comfortable, and presentable. It fits well and washes well. Pockets work on the outside of the shirt and the inside too. Cons: don't like the odd light blue, lightweight fabric pocket lining, quite visible, on the inside of the jacket. The lining should match the color of the shirt. Overall the shirt is thicker and more cumbersome than the previous one I bought several years ago and still wear. A slight disappointment from the previous version.

Wish it was the older shirt curve at the bottom but the seam pockets are nice and fabric is soft and comfy

Beautiful color, and glad it comes in a Petite size. Something different than a sweater or fleece.

I have ordered many corduroy shirts in the past, they were wonderful, I was excited to order these shirts - new colors - but the fit is not the same at all. They are very boxy, and they are not true to size, I usually wear a Medium, wanted a large to wear a shirt underneath, but the Large was tight, needed the XL which made it look way to big. Disappointed in the new styling/fitting. Hope they bring back the older version.

I have had these shirts before and this one shrunk up and is now too short! Don't like the look of it at all. Will be going back!

Not quite the replacement for the old LL Bean "Big Shirt". It could use some tailoring for a woman's body. I love the dark teal color. My shirt arrived with a defective shoulder seam which I mended rather than return. Overall I like the shirt for winter in Michigan.

I bought large/petite. I am 5'3" and weigh 130 pounds. This is the size I wear in most tops. The fit is perfect. The fabric is warm enough for winter over a shell or light shirt and can be worn in autumn as well. I love the teal color. I also have others in bright pink, light gray and maroon. It goes well with jeans or more dressy pants. Washes well. No pulling , fading or shrinking.
