I have several of your corduroy shirts and have given several as gifts, but this new style is not up to par. The side pockets are very poorly made; the cheesy blue fabric that make up the inside of the pocket is just a cheap blue cotton fabric and doesn't match the shirt color. Please bring back the old style with no side pockets. In all the years I've been buying L.L. Bean merchandise, this is the first time I have been unhappy with a product. I definitely will not buy it again.

It's cozy. The color brings out my eyes. I don't understand the inner parts of pocket design? It seems unfinished .

Finally back in black! My previously purchased two wide wale corduroy shirts are my go-tos; had been wanting a classic black. Love the quality and washes well (no shrinkage!)

This shirt has a nice weight and the color is beautiful, however, the inside pockets are blue. REALLY, LLBean???? I would have given this 5 stars if the pockets were the same or similar color of the shirt.

I were this shirt as a light jacket a lot. The fabric is cozy and the bright blue color is cheerful. The only critique is the way the pockets is constructed is odd - there's a band of cotton fabric across the belly that has shrunk up a bit so it pooches out. I still wear it though and am thining of altering it myself.

Well made. Great color (periwinkle). True fit (XL for my 155 lb., 56 body). Highly recommend. Would buy again.

I got a small but it did run a bit large. The color and quality was perfect.

Good quality material, lovely pink color, assume the fabric will soften more with wear and washing. The interior pockets add to the bulk.

My wife loves her LL Bean Corduroy shirts. Did I tell you she has seven of them. And she deserves every one of them.

I have had several of these shirts, both lined and unlined, for many years, and I love them. When I saw the pale rose color I was ready for another one. I usually wear a size large because I layer underneath them and I have good shoulders. However, the sizing is very different. The shoulder seam is at least an inch or more shorter than the shirts I have. In addition, it looked like the pink shirt had been folded and had sat in the sun or on a shelf because the bottom half of the shirt was a slightly different color. Sad to return it.

I normally wear an XL shirt from LL Bean. This one I tried XL 1X and 2X. When the largest size fit my body the shoulders were a quarter of the way down my arms and the sleeves hung 3 below my hands. I have several Bean corduroy shirts size XL that I love. I just wanted another color. Very disappointed.

I was pleased with my purchase. If you are only using it for layering, you may want to consider buying a size larger so its not too snug. It doesnt fit tight, but extra clothing under it will make it fit tighter. Im a fan and bought a second one in another color and size.

I lv this shirt. Nice weight, pockets I dont buy tops with out pockets. The pockets R everything. Thank U LL Bean U out did Urself. I think this top is outstanding. I will have more beautiful colors too.

Buttonholes may be a small thing, but it is a significant quality of life issue. On this shirt, I had expected to have some trouble buttoning it up, like I did with the older version of LLBean's wide-wale corduroy shirts. With this version, however, the buttonholes give my stiff fingers no trouble at all, and for that, I feel gratitude every time I put it on.

I couldnt wait to try this on. I love the finished look so I could wear it as a jacket, or shirt. Unfortunately, once again, theres a funky blue material sewn to form the pockets. Llbean, please stop mixing this blue fabric with these cute tops. I could actually see the blue through the front of the white shirt!

The 2 good things about this shirt: 1. The colors ( larkspur was my pick) 2. The wide wale corduroy is nice. This is the first time Ive bought the shirt with pockets. The pockets make the shirts drape awkward. It pooks out in the middle and makes the hem curl up. Bad design. I like the color but I wont buy any more of these with pockets. Summary: Let me know when your design and marketing teams decide to lose the pockets. Hopefully, next year.

This shirt is well made, comfy, fits and looks good. I may buy another one in a different color.

Love this as an over shirt, but size runs very small and different shape. I bought this for a friend who loves several of the older corduroy shirts size XL fit perfectly. Not with this new one. XL didnt fit, 1X was too small, currently waiting for size 2X to arrive. She liked the pockets, but really prefers the older style.

Nice fitting shirt. And the new color, pale rose, which is a pretty soft pink, the top of the pockets inside are pale rose with a blue layer under that. I'm not sure about the other new colors. The hips seem a little roomier which I also like. I bought the muted orchid, too. But that one had blue pockets which was not a deal breaker. Nice comfortable corduroy shirts with pockets.

I love this shirt, which matches a pair of leggings I purchased. Shade of blue and green are my favorite colors.

Good quality, but more boxy than I wanted so, sadly, it was a return for me.

I purchased this on sale and read the comments about the different color on the inside pocket material It doesnt seem to be an issue for me. It fits great and is very comfortable

Like many other reviewers who have purchased and worn the old version for many years I am very disappointed in this new version. I agree with most of negative comments regarding pockets. I have some old regular XL size ones that I still wear. I ordered a plus 1X this time. It is snug around the hips unlike the reg XL. I am not sure all the added pockets are necessary. I have not washed it yet. Hope it doesn't shrink. Overall not as comfortable as old version. I hope Bean goes back to the old version.
