Was hoping to get a corduroy big shirt like they used to be. This shirt is considerably bulkier; the side pockets seemed like a good idea, but those and the thickly seamed hem definitely make it look and feel like a jacket. However, it is a quite nice spring/fall jacket. Not regretting the purchase.

I have a bunch of these tops. This purchase I got two (one cranberry, one black) petite medium. The black is perfect but the cranberry is slightly larger, though the size is the same as the black.

love this Corduroy Shirt! I returned it because of the Color - it was a Rusty Red. The colors it comes in seem dull. Please make it in a true Berry color, a true Teal Color, a true Lavender & Purple Color.

Nice shirt, but not the corduroy of ones I bought in the past from LLBean.

This is a pretty good fit, though the arms are short for me. I've tried 3 products recently to get the sizing right. I guess I'll have to try a Tall LG next, though @ 5'5" I wouldn't think it would be necessary.
Overall, it's a good design with breast pockets, in-seam pockets at the hip, and interior pockets for phone or keys.

I bought the saddle color (beautiful). The problem was with the sizing: A small was too fitted A medium - too sloppy. Since I want to wear this more as a jacket I finally chose a petite medium. In othe words, I like it but I think you have to try it on for the look that you want.

Great shirt for many seasons. I don't care for the side pockets. The older ones didn't have them, and they feel less bulky at the hip.

Nice looking casual jacket. Just right layer in cooler weather. Love the roomy side-seam pockets. Would have been 5 stars except that the cuffs were a little tight. I don't have big wrists. Washes well and the black didn't fade.

This top is nice fabric and the Carbon Navy Color is pretty. However, it is very boxy and hugely oversized, and I will have to exchange it for a size smaller.

Really like this jacket. I have one I ordered several years ago. It was a L and I still wear it a lot. This yr I had to order an XL and it's a bit big on me but didn't feel I could layer and feel comfortable with the L. I do like the way the old one fits better than this one but still my favorite go to.

The feel is really soft and warm. Perfect for a sunny Autumn day. You have to treat the buttons down the front gently. If you wear it as a jacket, choose one size up because you need a larger size if you wear it over a shirt. The pockets!! They are large enough for my cell phone! And I don't know why the indigo blue color was on sale. Thanks LL Bean.

I always wanted another of these in a versatile neutral color. Finally this year they offered the camel color in my size. My original shirt was a petite L in a medium blue. It still looks new despite 10 years of wear and washing. I find the new version slimmer, so this t8me I purchased it in Petite XL. The new version is almost as nice looking but not as plush/soft, and the bottom hem is wavy and curls up, unlike the original which hangs correctly. Because this is a relaxed fit shirt-jacket style, I wish they would offer inner pockets as it is too bulky over another layer (even a tank) to be comfortable stuffed into a jacket, and I wear it more as a stand alone topper in spring and fall. I also would prefer that more wardrobe-versatile neutrals and maybe a denim blue color were offered rather than so many hard to coordinate with brights and pastels.

I have worn these shirts for years. After losing 70 lbs I needed to buy a much smaller size. I bought a Petite Small. It fits perfectly but the sleeve cuffs are too tight they make the shirt hard to get off. I think the cuffs need to be larger. I am a person with small bone structure.

I love the color, fabric, and most aspects of the shirt. I had a LL Bean corduroy shirt years ago, and this one definitely has more of a jacket styling to it. I would prefer shirt styling; it's just more flattering. That said, the pockets were handy when out for a walk on a chilly day when I forgot my gloves!

I love the colors available. Have owned the traditional cord shirt for years. Unfortunately, the seam pockets are too awkward for hands, and not trustworthy for stuff. So now its more bulk with benefit. Bummer

Pretty color and very soft. I would prefer the old style (big shirt, long) to the jacket style.

I like the shirt. The pockets that some reviewers disliked worked fine for me. My only criticism is that the shirt wasn't as soft as I thought it would be. Even after its first wash, it didn't soften. I'll wear it anyway.

I've bought these for years but this is a different styling from previous iterations. Very nice just the same, and I will be wearing it now that the weather is cooling down. This version has pockets and is styled more like a jean jacket, a little shorter in length. Personally, I liked the previous styling better.

I have bought corduroy shirts from LL Bean over the years and loved them. The material on this one is okay but the construction (especially the pockets) is not as nice. Unfortunately it seems quality on a lot of things has suffered since 2021.

I love these corduroy shirts for the most part and bought three of them. I love the rich look of the wide wales, the outer stitching, and the fact that there are six pockets, two of them being inside the shirt.
Two suggestions are to make the shirt slightly fitted for a less boxy look and to improve the design on the interior pockets. The interior pockets need a facing at least, if not a lining for stability. If a facing at least two or three inches deep were added to the interior pockets at the inner top, and then turned down and neatly hemmed by hand, the messy stitching at the top of those pockets
would not show, and the pockets possibly would not gape as
much as they do. There might be a better way to construct those pockets, such as making the pocket itself and sewing it in rather than simply sewing in some fabric as a cheaper shortcut. I true pocket sewn in would strengthen the integrity of the inner pockets. Since my process is merely an alteration, I do not have that option, but adding a facing and hemming is what I believe I can do to my three shirts. My alteration time is a concern, but is necessary if I am going to love these otherwise perfect shirts totally.
The red shirt is not really a true red, but it is a good burnished or rich coppery red for Fall. Th black shirt is very rich looking , and the peach colored shirt is cheery in color. Each shirt will be appreciated. I think the price should be lower due to the construction needs of the interior pockets.

I ordered the Rosewood color, and it is a beautiful dusty rose. I haven't washed it or anything yet, but the quality so far is great. I ordered a large. The fit errs on roomy, but it will work for me for comfort and in case it shrinks at all (fingers crossed).

I bought this shirt and it is very nice and soft. A good price. I was disappointed that the inside pockets are blue material and the shirt is black. It should be the same color as the shirt. This happened another time and you did not fix the problem. Now I have to figure out how to cover that blue material. I plan on wearing this shirt open as a cover up. You can also leave out the side pockets don't really need them since there are 2 pockets on the top. Thank you please fix this as I would love to order another shirt.
