The ONLY reason I didn't rate this with five-stars is because the "dark plum rose" color in the catalog was way off from the comfort corduroy received. The color just looked dingy. I returned it. I own several and they are my "go to" winter shirt, especially around the home. I run cold (yes, in sunny southern California) so I still need to wear a couple of layers underneath. Over the years, LL Bean has improved the design by adding pockets and adjusted the pocket-lining color for a better match to the shirt. I will purchase more because I do love the shirts. I'm 5'5", 120#, and wear a medium petite for the shorter arm length.

I had not purchased one of these shirts in several years. I use them as indoor jackets to take off the chill. I was sorry to the discover the design has been tweaked to add a baggy useless pocket inside the shirt. It ruins the line (makes it look even baggier) --no doubt inflates the price as well. Will not buy another one. I would like the endless tweaking of designs to end.

I loved the petite fit. The fabric is bulkier than I expected. May improve with washing.

Comfy, perfect with a layer beneath it. (Usually the other layer is a henley; sometimes a thermal shirt.) Beautiful color. Might use this as a light jacket, come spring.

I love this shirt! I have another one in a larger size that fits more like a jacket but I wanted this one to fit like a shirt. It fits me perfectly but the cuffs are a little snug and hard to button. Otherwise, the fabric is soft and the color is gorgeous.

I think I'm an in-between size, but otherwise I love the color and feel of this shirt.

I probably have 6 of these shirts from over the years. It's in the last couple that the design has changed and there are pockets. The pockets changed everything! There's even inner pockets that are just fabric and IMO unnecessary. Who thought it a good design idea to take your iconic big corduroy shirt and change them to make them more like a shirt jack?

Love the look and fit; hate the inside pockets as they're droopy and push shirt out.

The color (pink), medium weight corduroy, an sizing (plus size) are spot on. It came very wrinkled. I tried a steam iron and the dryer with a damp towel and those helped but it still looks like it needs a press. I'm keeping it b/c the color is perfect. I will wear in the house only.

Very nice corduroy jacket which I purchased in a M. My normal size in LLB tops is XS-S, depending. This jacket in size M was too large, so a S would have been the correct size for me. I purchased the jacket to go with a pair of LLB pants but the colors were similar but not complimentary. It is a medium weight. I am returning for perhaps a sweater that will be more versatile.

I've had it now for a couple weeks. The fit is fine, but the pockets are horrible! They seem to be far back on the side for the opening and inside there is a big square pocket.

I have 4 other corduroy shirts. I love them all. This new one in light pink fits a little differently than the previous ones. It seems a little snugger than my older ones and It has pockets, (which are a good idea). But it gapes at the front opening unless I have it buttoned. There seems to be a rather large inside extra pocket with lots of extra fabric on the inside. I'm not sure of its purpose. I especially like the color and will keep it but probably not order any more.

Very nice shirt. The color was what I expected - love it. The fit is great. The only thing I don't love is the way it's partially lined in the body with these large almost unattached pieces of fabric.

Love the color(green) and softness of fabric. It's a little boxy, but for casual wear it's something that will hang by the door and go with me. I feel it ran just a bit large (wide).

Sturdy, soft fabric, launders well. Side pockets are very large with backs of pockets forming inside pockets. The lining used to back the side pockets is not corduroy and seems too big and bulges. Not a deal killer but could be improved. Overall, it is a nice jacket /shirt and I do appreciate multiple pockets.

Handsome shirt/jacket, Tall size gives good arm length. Suitable over thin t-shirt only, I wish arms were roomier or slipperyer for a cotton long-sleeve t-shirt would fit under it.

Love this Shirt! It is warm, good looking, and very comfortable. It is quite large and I did have to exchange the first shirt I ordered because it was too big, the smaller size was a perfect fit.

Comfy and cute. I ordered a XS in pale pink, soft and warm. Relaxed fit so may want to size down if looking for a fit more like a Jean jacket. Two exterior pockets on side by waist that are big and hold plenty not just your hands. 4 stars as the interior pockets are kind of loose, stretch out so if you put stiff in them, they look bulky and don't lay flat. I would get another of in more color choices.

I hesitated to order this shirt. But, especially in the winter and being a plus size, comfort overrides style for me. While the fit is a bit boxy, it still is somewhat flattering. The all cotton fabric should prevent the annoying static electricity other fabrics have. I can see myself wearing this when going out to lunch with friends.or around the house. I'll be ordering another one the next time I receive a L.L.Bean promo.

While I don't like side access pockets on a shacket these are not overly bulky. Very nice for a quick coverup when heading to market with too chill AC. Lovely sage color

Looks like the folks at LLBEAN got the message. My shirt pockets are made in woven blue fabric, with matching fabric facing on the inside. I added a few stitches to the top to keep the pocket from flopping (line in red in the photo) and shortened the sleeves by 2". Nice heavy fabric.

Not really oversize. More traditional fit. Would NOT put in dryer.

I will enjoy this shirt come Fall. I really like that it has pockets on the outside and inside. Good for running around and doing errands. The turquoise is a pretty color. I washed it when I got it but did not put in the dryer. A bit wrinkled after air drying. Will want to iron it before wearing. Might not have been the case if I put it in the dryer. Reason for 4 star. Not sure if it would shrink in dryer. A bit boxy fit, but that is fine. I can wear a light sweater underneath in late Fall. A good alternative to a sweat shirt.

I bought this for my 95 year old mom. She says she likes it, But it is too relaxed fitting if you ask me. I love most of my purchases from L.L. Bean, now have their credit card. I wish I would have returned it choosing something else.
