Excellent material and color, washed beautifully, fit's wonderfully. I did not have to shorten the sleeves.

I just got 2 new ones. They have pockets not but that's not why I got them...we wear them all the time! My mom and even grandma had one! Still just as nice and sift as the day we got them years ago! I've been looking to get more and they're Finally here! Yay. Always get compliments and they are good for home or out!

I have always loved wearing these very comfortable and always in style shirts and they're my go to when needing that extra layer. My one wish is that L.L. Bean would make one in a Sage or Olive Green. I bet others would buy that color, too. ( - :

I got saddle and admiral blue -- rich colors. Soft wide-wale corduroy is luscious. Perfect sizing with room to layer over a shirt or light sweater. Most of all I love all the pockets. Thank you LLBean for adding an extra shirt pocket and side seam pockets in this version of your comfort corduroy shirt.

This is a warm, soft, comfortable shirt and comes in some nice colors (I have the pink and the carbon navy, and I'm waiting on backorder on the brown). I wear it layered as a shirt-jacket; the fit is loose enough that a thin long-sleeve shirt works fine under it. For me the pockets, including the side pockets, are a plus -- if you have a more jacket-like use in mind they are generous enough for keys and phone. The length is good on me but I am at the short end of petite.

If you love soft wider wale corduroy, you'll love this shirt. I bought the mauve, because it's GORGEOUS.

This is my 7th purchase of these wonderful shirts, which have been absent in recent seasons. Now it is back - with pockets! I'm so happy with the teal color and look forward to wearing it this fall and winter over my turtlenecks. I even found a teal t-neck in the sale section that matches!

My backordered big shirt just arrived in time for fall weather. Love it as much or more than the old style. I love the new chest pockets, slimmer arms and side pockets and side slits. The saddle color is perfect. I normally order size medium but ordered the small as it is a roomy fit.

I'm so glad that Bean brought back this wonderful corduroy shirt! My new blue one is great; the new version is even better than the old one. BUT the current selection of colors is kind of awful. How about a better red like Mountain Red or Rich Red, earth tones like Sienna Clay or Rust Orange , a yellow or gold like Butter or Chamois? I'd buy all of those!

If, like me, you had nearly every colour of the Comfort Corduroy Big Shirt, you will love this shirt! I have 2 so far with 3 on backorder. The sizing relative to before is good, the fabric is super soft like the original version, the placket along the buttons is NOT liable to turn over as happened with the later versions of the Comfort Corduroy Big Shirt. And, while I could do without the chest pockets, you will surely love the side seam pockets!! They are roomy, strong and sewn nicely in place. In fact, the side slits are shorter, to accommodate the pockets, but they are also double stitched into place, so hopefully there will be less chance of the shirt catching there and tearing, as they used to do on occasion. I am very pleased, and only wish that the shirts weren't so backordered and that there were more colours. But, hey, everything is strange this year, and more colours will hopefully be added in the future. LLBean, how about black, white, sage green and light blue?

I thought these were gone forever. I have nine of these shirts. They wear like iron. Will not tell you how long I have been wearing them. Will be ordering the pink one. Thank you for making them available once more.

Thanks for bringing back one of my favorite LLBean products! This shirt is comfortable. Washes well. Never wears out! Now if only you would also bring back the French sailor hoodie!

Just writing to welcome back the Big Shirt, which many had thought had been discontinued forever. I have several in my closet, and love them all. I don't need any of the 6 colors offered here, but will order immediately if off-white reappears.

This is not a review. It is a complaint that the shirt had a price tag on it saying $59.35 while I was charged $69.95. I'd like a $10 refund.

I love this shirt! It is extremely comfortable and keeps me warm. It can be worn over t-shirts, long sleeved or short sleeved turtlenecks or by itself.

This is a comfortable and adorable jacket! It's got a bit of a boxier fit which I love. I can dress it up or dress it down. It's a good weight for not-too-cold autumn or spring days. My only complaint are the large pockets that poke out from the lining inside. They look kind of goofy if you have something in your pocket when you don't have the jacket buttoned up. Overall happy with the purchase.

This is a great layering piece. The corduroy is more of a thicker rib, which gives it more texture. I sized up as I wanted it to layer over other clothing. I can see this piece being a favorite.

Great Quality, as expected from LLBean. The sizing seems to run small, which surprised me. I'm 5'1" and the petite, which I wear in most other brands, was too small. I had to exchange for a regular. It's a little on the heavy side. I preferred the lighter weight fabric, which wasn't as stiff, and was more comfortable. But the quality and workmanship are excellent.

Nice soft corduroy with a roomy fit. Good as a jacket or top layer like having side pockets.

I have many of the original version of these corduroy shirts that I purchased in the past. This new purchase is still a good quality shirt, but even when buying the same size as before, they run smaller than the old ones.
