The fabric is thicker than the old ones I have (maybe they are just very worn!), very soft and warm. The Large seems generous. I am usually between M and L but I got the L to wear as an outer layer and its comfortable over a shirt and sweatshirt. I love the rich Berry color. I find the side pockets (which somehow I only just noticed yesterday!) very handy for my phone around the house. The shirt feels sturdy and I hope to wear it for years to come. Very pleased.

I bought this shirt in the carbon navy color. I absolutely love it. I wear it over a tank or other shirt. It feels so soft and warm and cozy. I would buy another one but I'm not crazy about the other color choices. Would like to see this in a dark brown, dark green, black, or maroon maybe.

I have been looking for years for a shirt like this to wear over sweatshirts or other tops to throw on for around the house or working outside. It's not so restricting like a jacket or coat. I usually wear a medium in Bean clothing but wanted it big for this reason and after reading other reviews that it runs smaller, I am glad I went bigger. It's soft and comfy and I love the pockets. And it's stylish too so it would be cute to wear anytime.

I ordered this shirt hoping to replace the one(s) I bought before I lost 50 pounds. I'm delighted with the new one and have two more on back order. I like the new style which is not such a loose fit and I like the side pockets too.

I purchased a bright blue shirt for my mother-in-law and she loves it. This item is enjoyed in our family across 3 generations. It is a New England classic. Perfect for all seasons as a layer on cool summer evenings over a t-shirt or cold winter days over a turtleneck.

I am so glad this corduroy shirt has been brought back! I bought one in lilac years ago and always wished I have more of these. So, when I saw the new ones, I bought two more to see if I still liked them as much. When they arrived I fell in love with the rich colors, and I was pleasantly surprised with the pockets! I plan to buy two more colors as well.

I loved these shirts for a long time. And for almost 2 years LL Bean didn't have. Then my Prayers were answered, and they brought them back with even more colors and made them even better. Again thank you LL BEAN .

Very happy with this shirt. It fit perfectly and love the bright blue. Will be buying another. Hoping it doesn't shrink.

Love, love, love this shirt! I purchased 2 of these corduroy shirts about 8-10 years ago (I think) and just loved them. Then LLBean started offering them with a fleece lining. Didn't feel fleece was necessary. This year when I saw them available again in the original form, I purchased one in blue. Must have been a very popular item because it was back ordered for about 3 months. It was worth the wait. It is the same good quality shirt as before. What I like is the fact that it's loose fitting and can easily be worn with a T-shirt under. It washes great. The only semi-negative things I can say -- and others may disagree with me -- is the fact that the shirt now has 2 large side pockets (kind of bulky inside) and there is an added breast pocket (now 2) which I don't think most women use. But this certainly would not make me shy away from ordering another one.

Received this shirt yesterday. I immediately put it on over a t shirt. This morning, I put it on again. The fit is ideal. I was worried it would be large and boxey but it is not. I like the pockets but doubt I'll put more than a hair tie or chapstick in them, so they will not get stretched out. The fabric is very soft. The bright color is very pretty. I'm already considering ordering a second shirt in blue. I definitely will recommend this shirt to friends and family. Perfect layer on a chilly day.

I love love this shirt. Its my 2nd one. I had one of the originals of this shirt, which had only one pocket. It fits very close to the old style of this shirt. I don't care that the side pickets are made (inside) from a different material (as one reviewer complained) They certainly don't show. This shirt is just as soft and comfortable as the original. The blue is just as bright/beautiful as you see on the website. I did have to wait a long time for it to arrive, but it was worth the wait.

I have purchased the Corduroy Relaxed Shirt in several colors in the past, and have always liked the loose comfortable fit, but I LOVE the addition of the side pockets! What a great idea!

I love this shirt. The berry color is beautiful. It is soft and fits very similar to an old one, except the old one has slightly wider shoulders . The only thing I would change - fix the side seam pockets that are not tacked on the front upper corners. Also add a little ease to the bottom width to allow room for the pockets.

I have been purchasing the women's corduroy big shirts for many years. I especially like the side pockets, and this color makes me smile. I think these are the best shirt jackets on the market, in fact I am going to order another.

It fits nice and has pockets. The only thing is be aware the pockets are a different material. I love the shirt though.

I have these comfy big shirts in almost every color. Whenever a new color comes out, I'm ordering it. Got one with a nice plaid flannel lining, too.

Well made, practical and appealing. With the added side seam pockets it is a nice update to the older LLBean corduroy shirts I had years ago.

Glad the corduroy big shirts are back. Because they said they had changed the fit, I ordered a size larger than I usually wear. It is kind of big on me, but still nice. The fabric is nice and thick, and very soft, just like the older style was. I have not used the side pockets because they fall on the hip and I certainly don't need extra bulk or width there! They are not necessary because the chest pockets do the job.I might remove the side pockets. The larger size is quite a bit longer than the other corduroy big shirts I have from LLBean, but I actually like it. It gives more of a tunic look than a jacket look. I love the teal color (Admiral blue). Very rich. Hope they hold up well. I'm going to buy it in more colors in case they get discontinued again. My size seems to be backordered for a couple months. I had to wait a long time for the one I got, but I love it. Worth the wait.

I had one in Medium from years ago but it didn't have the roomy feel I like. The Large fits perfectly and the teal like color is rich and beautiful. Highly recommend!
