Beautiful coloring & material but it does run a little small

Pretty color and so soft and cozy! But I gave it just four stars because it looks a bit wrinkled. I did iron it a little but didn't want to crush the pile. Surprised to see it had side pockets. Very glad for that. I love the fact that it is cut straight across the bottom edge. No silly shirt tail style.

Bought the cream color corduroy shirt in a XL Tall. Normally wear a regular XL. I am 5' 9" tall. I wanted a shirt that can be worn like a jacket. Fits slightly large & long in length, but that's ok. Pocket linings are blue & show through the cream color of the corduroy a little bit. Looks kind of cheap & wish LLB would have used a more compatible color for the pocket lining.

It’s a very comfortable shirt. I like the soft, wide wale corduroy and the loose cut. Yes, the pockets are set far back because they are added on to the side seams. That’s a little awkward but ok. But it would be much nicer from a design as well as quality point of view if the fabric was coordinated with the shirt. Instead there a big rectangles of light blue (denim color?) material that form the pockets.

I now have 5 LL Bean corduroy shirts & mostly love them! The relaxed fit is not as roomy as previous ones I own. I am not a fan of the pockets in the current style.

I like to wear big shirts open, but the pockets are a light blue chambrey, not sewn down, and just don't look good. I do like the shirt, just have to keep it buttoned up.

The color is really great. It fits nicely and I really like it.

I got the bright blue one on sale for $44.99, which they have now increased to $59.95, and the blue pockets on the blue shirt didn't look too bad. On the berry one, though, the blue pockets stick out badly against the berry colored fabric when the shirt is open. Whose brilliant idea was this? I didn't realize when I got the blue one that they used the same blue fabric on all of them. Agree that the pockets look awful when the shirt is unbuttoned and I will have to keep a couple of buttons buttoned. The fabric needs to be color matched. Otherwise the shirt is very nice. I'll get lots of use out of both of these shirts. The fabric seems substantial and construction looks good. It fits well and is warm on the chilly mornings. Please match the color of the pockets inside the shirt to the fabric of the rest of the shirt, L.L. Bean. You've been in business long enough to know better than to do something like this.

I was a lirtke disappointed in the thickness of this, and it ran longer than I hoped. I'd recommend petite if you're short like me (5' 2) because it was an awkward length. I ended up returning but hoped to find a petite in store to try.

The inside pockets are a bright blue fabric. When the shirt blows open, there is the bright color. My shirt is black corduroy. I would have rather had the inside pocket made out of black fabric. I like the shirt.

I love this shirt the only problem is the side pockets. The inside material is blue and the shirt is black. It does not match and should be black inside also. Looks terrible and when I wear the shirt open you can see the blue material for the pockets. They should of used the same color as the shirt. Otherwise I do like the shirt.

This is my fourth one of these shirts, which I adore, but the first with side pockets. I have mixed feelings about the pockets. They're convenient, very roomy, but the shirt doesn't hang as well and isn't as versatile. It's more like a work shirt.

I use this boxy shirt more like a light jacket, over an thin base layer. Have received compliments recently from younger people who liked the wide wale corduroy.

I ordered the lilac in my usual size. The fir was perfect! I also purchased a tank in the same color to wear underneath. Also very nice. I didn't end ip keeping either though because i didn't like the way pastels look on me, so I think I'll exchang3 them for another color!

Love the rich color and widewale corduroy fabric; nice to have two upper & lower pockets. Very cozy! Only thing that was annoying was that the inner pockets slouched out when shirt was not buttoned; better after first wash, though.

I really like the look & fit of this shirt/jacket however it's not as warm as I expected.

Fits fine except for the length. Too long. At 5'1" I really need petite style.

Would be great without pockets or normal ones made out of the same or similar material instead of the weird huge denim interior squares. Smooth and nice colored fabric. Go back to original style without pockets.

I agree with most of the comments, but for me it's too relaxed. I normally wear a size Med but this one is too big, even the sleeves are too wide. I think it's well made and although I love inside pockets, these are awkward because they're too wide and billowy. They don't seem to be the same quality as the rest of the jacket. I also don't like that it looks sloppy on me. Now after all the whining, I've decided to keep it. I was going to exchange it for a Small, but now it's not available. Sooo...I'll wear this one more like a jacket when it's chilly and I love the light Lavender Mist color. It should be fine for hiking in the fall and spring with a sweater underneath and also comfy around the house when it's cold.

This shirt is just right as a light jacket or for layering with a sweater underneath. Love the caramel color! My only gripe is the pockets should be fully stitched to the inside of the shirt. Instead they flop when anything (like a phone) is carried inside.

Nice shirt except for the hand pockets. The position is awkward. I wouldn't buy it again.

I have been buying corduroy big shirts from LL Bean for years and was pleased to find them online now that I live in CA. I only gave a 4 star rating because the color choices are not very attractive.
