Had jacket for about a month now. I love the style and fit. However, the stitching on the back is separating. Some stitching on the sleeve is already broken. Disappointed with the quality for the price, will be returning.

The fit of this coat was not great the arms were too tight to be able to layer beyond a thin long sleeve. The coat also wasn't very warm. For plus size fit the arms need to be more spacious. For a daily wear winter coat it needs to be able to accommodate layering with a sweater or sweatshirt

I bought this coat a month ago. Today was the first day cold enough to wear the coat. The temperature was in high 30's to mid 40's. I even wore a fleece vest under the coat. I am disappointed because the coat was indicated as "warmer," and it was more like "warm." I sent it back as I wanted a warmer coat. Sorry.

A lovely coat, great fit, great sleeve length, beautiful color.. perhaps, too light? I frankly cannot believe someone is wearing this in 30 F weather. I doubt it can handle even 50. What in front of me is basically a very thin shell and fleece. If it has any lining between, it's minimal to nothing.. not enough for cold weather, for sure.

This coat in a PM was so tight I could not zip it. I usually wear a PS so I was very disappointed in the fit. Florida has cold snaps and this would have been perfect, longer and with a hood but I sent it back.

Comfortable but after few weeks of wearing it most days for errands and outdoor walks, the zipper is failing. Now very difficult to get it zipped up. Also, I wish it had an inner pocket.

I exchanged a duplicate Christmas gift for this coat. I hoped the weight and material would be good for winter walks. I am so disappointed in the exterior material. It is not the quality expected of LLBean products. It always has a wrinkled appearance and feels flimsy. I do like the color- most winter outerwear is black, gray or navy.

Sizing is way off. I normally take a Large and it was way too small (gave it to my daughter - who normally wears a small) I had to order a Plus size to be comfortable. Even then, forget wearing another layer under it (like a sweater).

The coat runs small, especially around the hips. There's no 'give' in the sizing. Guess I should have exchanged for a larger size but hate to go through that whole process. By the way, the teal looks more green in real life and I like that. I guess it's warm enough for a thin coat. I wanted warmth without the bulk. Would be nice if it had some snap closures too.

I'm sorry to have to say that for the first time I am very disappointed with an LL Bean purchase. First, the "Storm Teal" I received was most certainly not the color pictured, it is a grayed blue. Next, there's no way it would be warm enough for winter wear here in Connecticut, I would rate it as "warm", not as "warmer" (as it is listed). Third, the fit is too tight across the chest: I'm 5'4" and weigh 124 lb (so I'm trim) and I cannot fit a winter sweater underneath it. It is even snugger than I would like with just a light sweater vest under it. Sorry I made this purchase - and I have never said that about LL Bean before!

Loved the jacket, but had it about a month and 4 teeth came off of the main zipper. Not what I would expect quality-wise from L.L. Bean. I'll be returning the coat, sadly.

Sent back. Very thin. Felt like a thin poncho with a fleece lining. Very disappointing

The coat was a beautiful color and warm. But bunches when you are walking. I have never experienced this before. Otherwise, i definitely would have kept it.

Fits well, but a significant amount of filling missing in the front. Extremely flat.

The coat it not well suited for cold weather. It's classified as a "warmer" coat, but it doesn't retain heat well at all. I put on two very warm layers under it and went outside to see if it kept me warm in high 20 degree weather. Within a couple of minutes I was very uncomfortable. It's a nice looking coat and would probably be okay in spring or fall weather, but it's not good as a winter coat. Definitely not worth $199.00

I love the hood, the color, and the warmth. But the zipper jams unless you match it together very carefully.

My wife was very disappointed with the coat because it did not keep her warm, even in moderately cold weather. We both feel the coat fits well and looks good but not practical for winter wear. It was returned.

Zipper is not great, separates. Fit is weird. Lightweight which is nice, but not at all warm. Barely a windbreaker.

I bought a 3x (normally a 1x/2x) since I have broad shoulders and read some reviews saying it was tight in the shoulder area. It was tight in my shoulder area and the arms were snug. I could not picture myself wearing a sweater underneath the jacket. The material also feels a little flimsy and I don't think it would last a NY winterI am returning it

I've owned the same coat without fleece lining for several years now and it's perfect for travel and between fall and early winter. It layers well under a waterproof shell trench too. Adding fleece lining takes away much of the pack ability, and the waterproof version also ruins packability and makes the coat heavy to wear on dry days. I will need a replacement soon but not buying this one. Thanks

Like the Style of this coat but, it's Not Warm at All for Fall or Winter. The sleeves are not lined & the fit is small so I went up a size. (Large Petite). What happened to the LL Bean Coats of the past that were Insulated to Keep You Warm? Disappointed & might have to return it the tag is still on & not wearing it because it's too Cold out to wear it. It's more for early Fall wearing like 50F not anything below 50F. Still Need a Winter Coat that keeps you warm. Wish LL Bean still had the Insulated Barn Coat that kept you warm in Winter -1F. had pretty floral patterns & did not make you look like a bed comforter like the down coats do.

Was very hopeful when I ordered this online. I returned this as it was very thin. It actually looked like they forgot to put in the filling.

100% polyester. Not the quality I've come to expect from LLBean. Might make a good car coat, but definitely not a warm winter coat.
