These slippers are awesome. I have had several pairs over the years and am amazed at their durability and comfort.

Great quality: sturdy, yet supple leather. A bit slippery on carpeting, but scuffing soles on concrete flooring provided needed friction for most flooring. Since the soles are smooth leather, this is strictly an indoors slipper. Previous version I purchased years ago have rubber pads on soles and heels for outdoor and driving wear. Any ideas about where to look for some?

This is my second pair. I purchased the first six or seven years ago. The tops are still perfect. Very comfortable, very durable, excellent value.

I've been wearing the leather version for 30 years. Thus Bison leather version is as comfortable, but is much hardier, and more dye-fast, than the leather

These are great! I did not want heavily lined shoes but did want durability and good looks. I got all that with these. This is the second pair I have owned after wearing out the first. Highly recommend

This is the third pair I bought over a number of years and I absolutely love these slippers. Extremely comfortable yet durable and they mold to the shape of your foot after a few times wearing them.

I've had mine for 6 or so years and they still look new. Several times I've gone out, to dinner etc., without knowing they were on because they are so good looking. A nice quality comfortable slipper worth all the money.

These are my favorite slippers, I'm on my 4th pair but then that's over a period of 20 years, in the past I've always bought the more conventional leather, same style but different leather, so far I've noticed very little difference.

I had to settle for the double leather sole because Bean no longer made my favorite hard sole slipper. I will say, the first pair held up remarkably well. I was very hard on them, frequently wearing them outside and to run errands. After four years I had to replace them, although I haven't thrown them away yet. My new pair is identical to the first, I am very pleased with my purchase. They run a little large and wide but fit well with socks for cool or cold nights. As a caution be careful when first wearing them on hard surfaces i.e. wood or marble.

Decided that it was time to purchase a replacement pair of double-soled mocs for my double-soled tassel mocs that are now 31 years old. Order next whole size and you'll be fine, with a nice pair of socks. While no longer US made, a very nice piece of footwear. Quality stitching and materials. Well made and are breaking in easily. Looking forward to 30 years of comfort in these moccasins.

There is likely nothing simpler than a moccasin. This shoe would be the polar opposite of whatever the latest advancement is from your favorite athletic shoe company. This old-school Bean shoe is simply leather. Part bison and part cow hide stitched together with what appears to be great detail to craftsmanship. These look like driving shoes but fortunately lack the uncomfortable knobby soles that characterize those shoes. This shoe is just your foot on a couple of pieces of thick leather with a little padding. They are not for jogging or walking on gravel roads. They are great for wearing around the house, to parties or for a casual look at work. I would wear them every day except that I know I would wear a hole in the sole too quickly. I suppose this is not a big problem because LLBean is not going anywhere so I can simply order another pair! Maybe I will wear them everyday.

Please, please, please bring back the women's version of these. I cannot wear any shearling lining, and leather breathes so much better than any fabric lining. These are comfortable, breathable and hold up well. Please either extend the lower end of the size range or bring back the women's version. I don't know what I am going to do when my last pair wears out.

This is my third pair over the past ten years, and I would not buy anything else. I wear them constantly, I put them on as soon as I come inside the house, and they stay on unless I am going to bed or leaving the house. They are a little narrow in the front when you first put new ones on, but the are not uncomfortable, nor are they difficult to break in. They will very quickly stretch and mold to your foot. The soles are two layers of soft leather, and if you wear them outside on rough surfaces, you can wear holes in them fairly quickly; but they are great for padding around the house.

I prefer leather sole slippers. They are comfortable and light weight. The sole design with the rounded heel helps these wear much better than those with corners. Leather soles do not last as long as rubber . How could they? It's a trade off for comfort.

After 10+ years my flannel-lined LLB slippers had given their all, so time to replace 'em. These are comfy from the first wear and expect with a little break-in time will even get better. Appear well made and I expect at least as durable as the previous pair. I've also a second fleece-lined pair for those colder New England winter days which I hope to temporarily retire shortly (read, "hopefully") until next Christmas.

this moc is a sturdy soled, padded insert, all leather construction that works great around the house or at the campsite after you have shed your boots. they work on the trail great too since the sole is thick leather. i am on my second pair. took 5 years around the house and 5 major camping trips to start to wear a tiny hole in the sole. my old pair is still comfy and the uppers and inserts are still in excellent shape. i like the darker bison leather myself.

I would have liked a bit tighter fit, but the shoe is comfortable. Very well constructed.

I purchased a second pair of these bison slippers after quite a number of years ... I love these slippers! I thought I'd try the same, in leather - not bison, and wow! What a HUGE difference! I'll never consider the leather slippers again they very hard and tough as nails; OUCH! Today I received the bison (NOT leather, but bison) slippers and put them on immediately. These are SOFT and comfortable, right out of the box! If you aren't sure which style to purchase, just buy the bison slippers you'll be glad you did!

I finally needed to purchase another pair after years of regular use. The quality appears to be the same. These are well made and have kept me happy for years. I buy one size up, 10, not my shoe size 9. I add a pair of cushion insoles and it's like walking on soft grass.
