My purchase was a replacement of the pair I bought a year ago in 2019. This replacement pair was made necessary because the 2019 pair wore out in 11 months This fast wear was a surprise to me because my PREVIOUS pair had lasted 10 years !! Checking customer reviews, I'm not alone in my experience: other "repeat customers" have marveled at the need for fast replacement. At the invitation of LLBean, I'm returning the 2019 pair, and I look forward to writing another review. Note: having loved these moccasins for decades I continue to look forward each day to the moment I put them on... they are my feet's best friends.

Even though we had to exchange the initial purchase for a smaller size, my husband will contend that it was well worth waiting for! He loves the slipper, finding it very comfortable and well made.

This is my second pair. The first lasted five years of around the house use and picking up the paper and checking the mail.

I am on my second pair of these slippers. First ones lasted over 10 years. I always buy slippers a size up as I like them loose so my feet breath and don't sweat. These are the only slippers I will buy.

This is my third pair. I wear them indoors all day, every day, but never outdoors. Even so, I usually wear through the heel in about a year. Very comfy.

After two pair of the regular leather lined moccasins I just received my first pair of the Bison ones. Thought I'd go a little more stylish since the price is the same. I love these moccasins and don't use them as slippers. Yes, because the soles are leather, they do wear out. It takes me about a couple of years, sometimes more, depending on where I wear them. Yes, out of the box they are a bit like ice skates due to the nice shiny leather bottoms. I use a little bit of sand paper to rough them up. If you want out of the box grip, get a pair of boat mocs. I like the feel of not having a firm sole, one step away from bare foot. There is an inside arch in these. While I would prefer not having that, it is comfortable. Lastly, I buy a size 11. When they are new, they are a little tight. After a bit, the leather stretches. If I went bigger, they would become sloppy and sound like flip flops. If you like moccasins for moccasins, I recommend these they are more than slippers.

I've owned a pair of the Bison fleece-lined slippers for about 5 years, and they have served me well - but, they provide more warmth than I want or need for most of the year (I live in hot and humid Houston), so I thought I would try a pair of leather lined slippers for use during the warmer/hotter months. The leather lined slippers fit quite well and were comfortable right out of the box. The quality of materials and construction is superb. Glad that I bought 'em.

These slippers are awesome! The craftsmanship is spot on and my husband says that they are so comfortable.

For over 15 years, these have been my slippers of choice. Third pair and the old pair still have a few miles left so they will live in my hunting shack until they don't.

I ordered these to replace some worn out Minnetonkas. They fit the bill quite well. I like the cushioned insole and they are well built as expected. I wish they came in 1/2 sizes as the 11 slaps my heels when I walk unless I am wearing thick socks.

I could feel the spirit of Buffalo when I put these on for the first time. It feels great to walk around the house in now cold weather. You have to pull the strings tight on the laces or they come undone.

These are the third pair I've bought for my husband. The hardest person to buy for, but he loves these slippers and I am so grateful that you still have them. So thank you!! At least he'll have one gift under the tree!

LL Bean's Men's Bison Double-Sole Slippers, Leather-Lined, have to be the best slippers ever made. They are extremely comfortable to wear - true to size and great fitting. I would be lost without a pair for my feet. I wear them all the time while in the house - even keep a second pair at my son's house so I can wear them when visiting the grand kiddos. Please LL keep these double-sole slippers in your catalog forever!

I typically wear size 11 sneaker and 10.5 dress shoe so went with recommendation to order size 10. Fit exactly as the instructions stated (snug for first couple of days until the leather stretched and inside molded to my foot). Great slipper!!

We loved this so much we bought a pair for our son in law. He loves them as well. And with the virus keeping everyone working from home, they are getting used daily!

These slippers are just what I was looking for -- light and comfortable but with enough stiffness to walk outside to get the mail. Extremely well made and good looking. Looks like they'll last for years but they're pretty pricey for slippers.

I have been buying this style of slipper from LL Bean for decades. They conform to my feet, are super comfortable and I wear them every single day. Leather double soled slippers are hard to find elsewhere and I keep going back to LL Bean about every 3-5 years or so for a new pair as I am hard on them, wearing them outside as well. I don't like a lining and a hard sole as I find them less comfortable.

i like them so much i ration the use cause i don't want them to wear out. i will buy another pair as budget allows.

These are my house shoes. It took about 8 or 10 years for me to wear through the soles of the last ones. I have wide feet, so it takes about a month for them to get really comfortable, but after that, they are a daily pleasure.

Great slippers. Form to your foot after several wears. Despite the leather sole, it seems to be quite durable as well.
