Quality leather and bison materials. Yes, the sole is slippery at first. They can be easily "roughed up" on concrete. They are comfortable wearing around the house; they mold to your feet. I have a feeling they will just get better with age.

The slipper was beautiful but the size that I bought was too small and the slipper was to hard for the toes on my right foot so I have to return them and get a softer slipper pluse I want to buy a part of boots right now I'm getting over a cold be in the Colorado store soon.

I bought these slippers for my husband. When they arrived I was very pleased with the overall look, craftmanship and materials. These far exceeded my expectation and my husband is pleased with them. We do not wear street shoes in our home, so these make a perfect house shoe. I recommend them for anyone looking for a well made sharp looking house shoe (aka slipper.)

Well worth the price. I work from home and wanted comfortable and warm slippers, especially for winter days in Colorado. As expected, the quality cannot be beat. I expect to wear these for years to come!

Good looking and comfortable. Originally had to order a half size up which was much too large so returned for a half size down. Still a bit roomy but quite wearable.

My husband wore out the first pair but won't part with them. He still wears them. Slippers are very comfortable.

My fourth pair over 20 years. So comfortable I forget I'm wearing them and end up with them on outside causing them too wear out quicker than normal.

L.L. Bean's leather-lined bison double sole slipper for men is, by far, the best slipper I have ever worn, and I have worn and worn-out a LOT of slippers throughout the years.
