For starters when you get these slippers you should know they are Bison leather and like all leather the soles are smooth. The first time I put them on it was like I was on ice. We have both hardwood floors and carpet. Once you scuff the bottoms up from wearing around they are great. So basically after your first house of wearing them they should be good to and sturdy on any surface.

For slippers, they are good looking, comfortable and sturdy. Perfect

Both comfortable and stylishan investment in indoor footwear which will last five or more years of activity - not well-suited for any continued outdoor use though. I have given them as Christmas gifts to all of my family over the years.

Need to be broken in ! Wear them for While . then they fit

It needs to be worn carefully at first until there is a "grip" to the bottom of the slipper. They are slippery on carpet when first put on. . I walked around our new concrete driveway a couple of times to provide the grip. I love these slippers!

This is my second pair of these slippers and I love them - first pair lasted 7 years! Hoping these last the same.....

The fit is a little off because of no wide size. Had to get a size larger but the all around product is pretty good.

Slightly large, tightened the leather strings and that took care of the problem.Other than that, they are great .Thus the 5 star rating.

Excellent fit and finish. My husband loves the slippers. He wishes they came in 1/2 sizes. He only wears them around the house so they should last for a long time.

Package arrived timely, but it is a gift, for someone else so now real comment. The slippers look very nice in the box, though and were the size I ordered.

A very comfortable slipper to wear indoors. I had the a pair that was made out of the cowhide that lasted me about 15 years. I picked the Bison because I liked the rich color and texture.

But, this is the second pair I have purchased. The first pair wore out within a year and I was very surprised how thin the double leather sole is. I never wore them outside, only on the carpet inside the house. I had them resoled, however they never felt the same as when they were new. After many years of wearing slippers that are a disappointment I have purchased another pair of these moccasins and I'm hoping they last longer than the first pair.

These are great house shoes. They should be worn indoors only, if you want them to last. They are true to size and very comfortable to wear.

I retired the 15 year old fleece lined mocks and replaced them with these. With a pair of merino wool hiking socks, these are the best.
