These slippers are the best slippers I have ever owned. I have had other all leather slippers but this bison leather seems to be a little thicker and heavier than other all leather slippers. I like the smooth sole because they don't grip the floor to trip me up. I have leg length discrepancy and right foot drop so my gait is uneven and I often drag the right toe when bringing that leg forward. These slippers make it a lot easier for me to walk because they don't "catch" as I bring my leg forward. I also like the sturdiness of the leather soles because I can step outside into the garage or on the sidewalk and they don't get excessive wear from being used on semi rough concrete. They can also be worn on ground or grass if it's not wet and because the soles are so smooth, they don't track dirt back into the house. It saves having to change footware to go outside. The all leather inside of the slipper wears so much better than slippers that are lined with cloth or fuzzy type material. I like having a slipper that does not develop a bunched up cloth or fuzzy lining causing lumps under the soles of my feet. I just can't say enough how much I love these slippers. They are smooth, comfortable on my feet, warm but not the kind or warm that makes my feet sweat, light weight and they hold their shape. They don't stretch out as much as other types of leather slippers I have owned in the past. I ordered a pair last fall and was so impressed with their quality both in material and workmanship that I ordered a second pair for the future before they find out how good they are and sales go up so much that the price might go up.

I bought these as a gift for my husband to replace a similar style, but different brand. We were so impressed with the quality of these slippers. My husband loves them. He normally wears a 9 1/2, but went with the 9. They were a little snug at first, but now a perfect fit.

This is my third pair; I wear them inside and outside the house. I chose the leather lined version so I can wear year round with socks in winter and no socks in summer. I like the quietness of the double leather sole when walking around the house. This sole is more durable than I expected given the amount I wear them outside the house, though best to not get the leather sole wet.

I bought these slippers in a women's size about 4 years ago. They are just beginning to show signs of advanced age, after nearly all day wearing each and every winter. Many extremely comfortable miles have been walked, but sadly, I can no longer purchase a replacement. Please, please, please strongly consider making these once again for women, I will then depart with this much loved pair, and buy 2 more! Please!

I received these slippers as a gift. The first pair had a manufacturing flaw. LLBean customer service was great and quickly sent me a replacement pair. The slippers get increasingly comfortable the more I wear them as they conform to the shape of my feet. The leather is tough and lasts a long time. (This isn't the first pair I've owned.) I recommend them without reservation.

These are the only slippers my husband will wear. They shape easily to his foot as they are worn. No lining so not too hot. They are worn almost every day and last him 2-3 years before the soles need to be replaced. Excellent slippers!

great but a little pricey

As the card that comes with them says, they are snug at first. Then they become a custom fit and are SO comfortable. I love these slippers because I can wear them year round and my feet aren't too hot. I have gone through a few pairs over the years. It takes a long time to wear through the leather soft sole.

Best slippers I have ever purchased.

My shoe size is critical. I can usually wear a 14D, but sometimes they are a little too short. I was afraid that might happen with the mocs, but decided to order anyway. They are perfect. I read other reviews that the bottoms are slippery on carpet. My house has only hardwood and tile. They don't slip at all. For the carpet coasters, it has been suggested that when right out of the box, you take sandpaper and rough up the bottoms slightly and it solves the slipping problem - just common sense really. Of course, LL Bean craftsmanship on the mocs is superb. I am a very happy camper.

This is my second pair. My old pair is well worn after many years. We have a shoeless house for outside shoes so these are worn inside on a daily basis.

I had a pair of Chippewa Mocs that I wore out! I tried to find a new pair but couldn't! I finally found what I wanted on LL BEAN, and bought a pair! They were just what I was looking for so I bought this pair and love them both! They are Tough, Long Lasting, and the VERY BEST PART...You can just SLIDE your FOOT Right Into Them!!!

This my 3rd pair and all of them have been excellent. One may ask why the 3rd pair? I ware them in and out of the house for 4-5 years until the soles open holes or as I say, they become holee!

I gave these slippers to my sweet husband for Christmas some 5 or so years ago and he has worn them out--hole in sole worn through--and asked for Santa to bring him a new pair this Christmas 2019. So thankful that LLBean still has the exact same slipper. They are now on my closet shelf with other Santa items waiting for Christmas. He will be so thrilled!

I have both fleece-lined and unlined moccasins. My old fleece-lined mocs are still in use. They are incomparable and last forever, conforming to my feet like gloves. The leather and leatherwork is superb.Lin

This is my second pair. The first pair lasted a long time before the soles started to wear though. In fact, I still wear them to go outside to feed the cats. They are very comfortable, quiet, easy to slip on.

Just about wore out my third pair, wearing out the sole. First thought about making a compaint, but then realized I have had these shoes much longer than the poor buffao lived. Excellent shoe. Would recommend to anyone. True to size. I will be watching between now and Christmas for a sale or couplon and if that doesn't work, I will be asking Santa for a new pair.

Contrary to catalog's recommendation to "Order Up for Half Sizes" the first pair was too large, and I had to return them. I wear a 9 shoe, and had to go DOWN to a 9 to get a proper fit. The moccasins are really well constructed, fit well (second time around) and are the most comfortable mocs I've ever worn. They seem very durable for outside wear, although most of my wearing of them will be indoors. When they do wear out, I'll buy another paur, for sure!

These are my favorite LL Bean slippers!! They are very comfortable in summer and winter. The only recommendation I have is to make the soles a little thicker so that they last longer.

This is quality leather. When the Box was opened on Christmas morning, everyone could smell the new leather. The Bison slippers were a gift for my husband and I was concerned that they might not fit well and that being a man, he wouldn't like wearing slippers. But they were true to size, he loves them and he's wearing them regularly. That's amazing!

Excellent product because of quality. Problem for me is that I have a size 14, but I need a narrow width. Not LL Beans fault, but it does not come in a narrow width, and it fell off my heel with every step!

This is a repeat purchase of this product. Have had both Bison and Raisin over the years and have found them comfortable and long lasting. Well worth the investment.
