The gumshoes are an excellent boot. They fit well and are very comfortable to wear. I expect to get as much use out of them as the ones they replaced. I had been wearing a pair of your gumshoes for over twelve (12) years. They are still usable as a backup to the new ones. Thank you for continuing to make a great boot in the USA.

I have purchased many llbean boots for over 20 years and the quality and durability are fantastic, I have about every boot model in varying heights for every weather condition. I highly recommend.

I wear an 11 -11.5..ordered the 11's..they were too large..returned item for a 10..they fit perfect..the exchange process was no problem at all.. Love the shoes..could not be happier..

I tried a few cheaper options when I needed a waterproof shoe for all the rain we've had this year. But if it has a seam, it's gonna leak at some point. So I got the original and I'm pretty happy with them, esp. the fact it's US made. The lack of half sizes makes it a somewhat loose fit, but it still does what I need.

The shoes are very comfortable, I purchased for the Waterproof feature.

These Bean Boot gumshoes are quick to slip on and off, waterproof, extremely functional.

Ordered to my regular shoe size but were at least 4 sizes too large. Called customer service and told them about the sizing problem and they suggested the proper shoe size to fit my foot. If ordering this item call customer service first and save the hassle. Otherwise very good product extremely well made.

I ordered a size smaller than I usually wear and the L.L.Bean Gumshoes fit perfectly. They are comfortable to wear and definitely waterproof. The only negative is that they don't breath and one's feet can get sweaty on a warm day. I would purchase again.

I just received my Gumshoes in the mail and threw them on right away. They fit really well. A little big but it will be fine with thick socks , that and L.L. Bean has great information about buying these gumshoes so do your research before buying. Becky you did an awesome job!!! I can't wait to get out and use my wonderful gumshoes. I live on the border of Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska. The winters here are pretty harsh usually, so going out in the brutal weather won't be so bad anymore. I can't wait!!! Thanks Again L.L. Bean. This Midwesterner is definitely going to purchase more Bean Boots and Mocs in the future!!!

I've had several pairs of Bean Boots of different lengths over the years and enjoy them. Long lasting and easy to keep clean.

I have only had these shoes a couple of days but so far have been very impressed with the quality and comfort. I have tried many hiking shoes that say they are "waterproof" (i.e. gore-tex, waterproof membrane) but none of them kept the water out and eventually the soles came apart from the uppers. The rubber of these shoes really does keep the water out and the insoles are thick. He sizes most definitely run large, I assume for the thicker socks. I bought an 11 and I typically wear a 11.5-12, and the 11 is a tad big, but the laces help you tighten the shoe so they don't flop. Highly recommend these shoes if you are looking for a shorter version of the bean boot that feels more like a tennis shoe.

Over the years, I have had a couple pair of look-alike gum shoes, but these are my first pair of genuine LL Bean models. I will be glad to wear these comfortable shoes when the Pacific Northwest weather turns wet.

My second pair of LL Bean boots. Last year I purchased the 6 inch boot for an Alaska trip. They are the most comfortable foot wear I have ever worn. Now during the rainy summer months we are having in Georgia I needed some dry foot wear. The Gumshoe works best for me with a lace to secure them to my feet. These to are excellent and even cool with thin athletic socks.

My regular shoe size is 10 1/2, so I ordered size 9. Too small. Ordered size 10. Perfect. EVERYBODY should have a pair of these. You wash your car, use these. An inch or two of snow, wear these. I've wanted these for YEARS and finally they're in stock. Great around the yard, love the traction and ease of on and off. BUY 'em !!

The duck boots I purchased were great, I followed their recomendation about getting half size smaller and I am glad I did, cause they fit good with a thick sock.

Finally, some decent laces for these otherwise excellent field shoes.

Have worn these since my university days. Now retired. Have several pairs. Fantastic quality. Timeless look.

I have had these shoes for over three years. They have been used in all kinds of wet and snowy weather in the NY/Long Island area. They keep my feet dry and warm and are quite comfortable even after several hours of wearing them.

Perfect Puddle Peds. Would like other colors.

Best for wet weather, rain, yard. Just love my gumshoes.

I've have a pair of the brown/brown gumshoes, which I love. I wanted to buy another such pair, but Bean has discontinued them. What a shame! They were a nice alternative for those of us that do not necessarily want to wear the tan/brown shoe that everyone else has.

These are perfect for when there's heavy rain or up to 4 inches of snow on the ground. They are waterproof and have a firm grip. I have wide feet so I ordered one size down as recommended in an 11 EE. However, they were too narrow at the tip of the foot box and I ended up ordering another pair in 12 EE. They are a bit large, but with heavy socks they fit and are comfortable. Overall it is a great product for the price. I would highly recommend these shoes.

My husband as well as I have owned this style of boot for too many years to count. We love them. My husband's have been repaired once and while they are still useable he wanted a new pair. Now he can leave one in the country and take the new pair to the city. Yes, he wears them on bad weather days with his suit. They keep feet dry and are comfortable to walk anywhere. Also I recommend adding a lamb's wool or other shoe liner for extra warmth on very cold days.
