This is my second pair. The first lasted many decades. They just work! (Tongue could be a bit longer).

Fast and easy on. Comfortable and resilient. Good for a rainy day, working where the ground is wet or icy. But best of all on a sunny day just as well. Just rinse or wipe the mud and debris off. My last pair of wearing them almost every day. And I walk at least 5-7 miles per day. They lasted at least 3 1/2 years.

Perfect. As described, on time delivery, all good. He likes them.

Part of the needs of a real estate appraiser. Amazing thing is; I retired from that profession 15 years ago and the shoes are made the same now as then.

These boots are rugged, waterproof and comfortable. I where them for gardening when the grass or soil is wet .

Very well built and will last for many years. Extra roomy fit designed for moderate to heavier socks. If you wear light or no socks at all you may want to consider one size smaller than you normally wear.

Pros: solid construction that will last years. Cons: heavy. They run big: order one size smaller than you normally would.

I've had this type of shoe from various makers over the years, but none come close to the quality of these. I suspect they will last for years

After trying a few high quality brands of waterproof boots and always being disappointed these Bean Gumshoe boots keep my feet totally dry. I always wear a 10 in a dress shoe and an 11 in a hiking or tennis shoe but the Bean 9 fits perfectly. Order accordingly.

I normally wear a size 10 medium width shoe with medium weight socks. For a good fit with this Gumshoe, I went down to a size 8 to get a good fit. I'm wearing these great shoes in wet and light snow conditions.

Only had one opportunity to wear them in a major downpour since I first received them. They performed admirably! Highly recommended.

This is my Second pair of this shoe. I wore the old pair to the store when I went in for the new Pair. I got more than my money's worth from that first pair [30 years] The lady that brought out the new pair said that LL Bean could repair the old pair....SO, I took the old pair two the checkout and when they are repaired I'll have a spare pair. I walk the dog each day and the gum shoe / boot is excellent for any terrain. They are extremely comfortable and keep my feet dry! I would highly recommend them!

I wear a size 11, but LL Bean recommended a 10. Iot fits perfectly. Perfect shoe for outside, from rain to puddles to mud. I can't recommend these shoes enough. Extremely comfortable, and easy to put on and take off. Shoe strings are short, bit leather stretches, so shoe strings work. Give them 2 weeks.

Fits great, fell great. Perfect for working in yard, wet or dry.

I've had these gumshoes for around ten years now.I've been quite pleased with them except the fit-too large, which is my fault-I didn't follow the sizing guide.My normal size is 9, but instead of getting a size 8, I bought my normal size.As a result, they are a little loose in the heel. The quality is obviously top notch, and with thicker socks, they are comfortable.I'm about to get a pair of 8" boots, and following the sizing guide, all will be well, I'm sureSo glad I got these-money well spent.

I have the women's mocs and love them, so I bought these boots for my husband for Christmas in a size 10. They were too large, so we exchanged them for a 9 which is perfect. Exchange was easy and seamless. They do run large. He loves the boots. They are great for wet weather of any kind.

These are the best boots I've ever worn!!! I call them my "LL Cool Bean" boots! I love them and look forward to buying other products as the quality is superior to other manufacturers!!!

Perfect shoes for my early morning dog walk through grassy fields . Keeps feet dry. No break in needed. Follow the recommendations for choosing size. I normally wear size 14 and have some room. I ordered size 13 and they fit well with some room to wiggle my toes.

Purchased to help working in muddy yard - shoe fine - longer laces would be helpful.

My regular shoe size is 10.5 and bought a size 9 as directed and they fit perfectly with regular socks. Took three wears to break in. I wear them every morning to walk my dog in the fields and woods. I wish llbean would pack a second set of laces. It certainly wouldn't cost much and set them apart from competitors. Just a suggestion. Love the shoes.
