Great product very comfortable got 1size smaller than usual!

You were right. Even though my husband's old pair was a 12; he needed the 11 as you originally suggested. He loves the shoes. Great for outdoor stuff. including walking the dog.

I wanted to wear light socks with this shoe during the summer. So I ordered a pair 1 size smaller then recommended, switched out the insert for a thinner one and attached foam under the tongue to hold my heal in place. They fit great and will make a nice summer shoe.

a must for being in the outdoors. i live in Louisiana where we get a lot of moisture/rain but we are constantly outside. i hunt and fish in these and they are very comfortable and durable... i have the 6' pair also

They do run big. But great with thick socks. Love them in wet weather!

Sizing, follow Bean's suggestions. Love this shoe! Perfect for my location in Washington where I walk my English Setter a good hour every day in wet grass fields. I also have a pair of their boots, made the same way, which is perfect for New England area where I hunt/fish. Great products! When the tip of my fly rod broke, Bean fixed it. Really stand behind their products. Wish they would have a store in the North West.

This is a marvelously warm and comfortable boot/shoe. Although it may seem a bit oversized, if you get a sheepskin insole, you'll have a perfect fit and toasty toes! Enjoy!

This is a great shoe for snowy or rainy weather. This pair is replacing my Bean "Hunting Shoes" I purchased over 40 years ago; the soles were wearing thin. The fit is correct if you follow the guidelines LL Bean provides.

Perfect height for a little work, a little mud, walking to the horse barn!

I am happy with the quality of these shoes. I ordered a size 14 because I wear a 15 in sneakers. The shoes do run big. They fit pretty good with heavy wool socks. I purchased these to wear in NEPA where the weather is damp and we get a lot of nuisance snow 1-3 inches. So far the shoes have worked well for me. I have only had them a couple months so I can not give a long term review.

Love this shoe, been wearing them for years and needed a new pair. I am 100% satisfied with these shoes. When I ordered, LL Bean indicated a months-long wait, but the shoes came within a week, in time for messy Winter weather.

Returned this item and bought the gum moccasin instead and I love them

I love these shoes! I keep them by my back door and they are my go to for running quick errands, taking out the trash, even shoveling in medium to light snow. They keep your feet warm and dry and are way easier to drive in than any other winter boots I've owned.

Exactly what i expected. After 24 years my first pair went bad.

First, thank you "Jeni" for her pre-shipment inspection of my shoes. As an aircraft inspector for many decades, I review purchases carefully. These shoes have yet to present anything but great satisfaction. I got the D width even tho' I normally wear a EE in athletic shoes. After wearing these 4 hours for each of 2 days, they are form fitted and my daily winter shoes. The soles, stitching, eyelets, and ankle padding are all flawless. I especially appreciate the laces are the correct length, not too long or short and the correct texture to stay tied! These make a perfect compliment to my 8" Buffalo hide hunting boots purchased from you some years back. Proud to buy American made. Highest regards. Tim

Awesome shoes. They were a little stiff the first day, but they broke in nice. I love that the soles don't hold lots of mud, but still provide some traction.

These shoes are great. I've had two pair since the late 90s. They wear well and take punishment on city streets and hiking trails. I live in Scotland and although the popular belief is that it always rains in Scotland the reality is we have mixed weather. But certainly these are my go-to shoes for most short woodland walks and even getting out in the Highlands if the terrain isn't severe. My old pair latested 10 years and only the sole smoothed out so much in the last year that it didn't have traction in wet grassy terrain. So I got another pair for the next decade!

I requested these as a Christmas gift from my wife and daughters. I originally ordered the slip on low gum shoes in a size 13 and I stepped right out of them. When they tell you to order a size down, their not kidding! I returned the slip on's, ordered these in a 12, they are perfect. They are replacing my worn out Bogs, I use them for mowing the lawn and yard work chores. Now, I just have to wait for summer!
