I'm 59 and bought these to replace a pair I got when I was 14! The old pair was in great shape except the foam heel collar started to disintegrate after 35 years. No complaints. Having a new pair makes me feel young again. And besides, they really do keep your feet completely dryand have good traction. I don't live in a snowy climate, but if you do, a taller version might do you better.

This is my second pair of Boots and I have traveled all over the US and Canada. They're perfect for traveling in my motorhome, whether hiking or walking the dog. I was disappointed when I tried to order these and found out that Wide widths were not available. I was hoping that someone at the company would read this and make a recommendation to start producing in wide again. I have the Mocks boots but they are too wide and fall off my feet when walking. Please make them in wide again.

I have a number of bean boots but these are my favorite. Perfect for heavy rain or light to medium snow. Wear with bean boot socks.incredibly comfortable. When these wear out I will immediately buy a new pair. Don't think this will happen anytime soon

They run a little bit big so i went a half size down and they fit perfect.

Haven't really put them to the test yet but the sizing suggestion was spot on. I typically wear an 11.5.Went size 10 and they fit perfectly.

Put these on, walked outside on snowy/rainy day and immediately loved them. So much easier to throw these on than the full boot.

my second pair, easier to get on than the 6" high model that I got several years ago (still in use), so they will live by the back door to be ready for a dog walk in the rainy season. I've already broken them in with some gardening and moving dirt in the yard.

When buying try one size up and one size down . Excellent boot and very comfortable

Too early to tell about waterproofing, but we were excited to find shoes in my husband's size.

The price is too high for the length of time the shoes last. Heels and insoles wear out too quick. I have been buying and using this product forty years.

I am happy with my purchase. I recommend following the size guidelines for a great fit. Shoes are comfortable, built well and keep my feet dry in the tall wet grass and muck of northern Michigan.

Traction is outstanding. That said, they can present tripping hazards until the wearer is adjusted to them. Its a very good thing!!!!

First pair lasted 30 years. These should be better

I put my shoes to work, and they've never disappointed me. In the water, in the snow, in the woods, working home building projects, or just walking through the wet grass in the morning, whatever comes up, I never hesitate to pull these on and they do their job. I actually have two pair: 1 pair for abuse, which I never even try to clean as I have a 2nd pair for show when I go to the store, to the neighbors home, anywhere out in public when I need some dryness and comfort on a sloppy day.

These boot are excellent. This is the second pair I have and the first pair lasted longer than I can remember. The new pair fit just like I've had forever. You can't go wrong.

I can't believe how much I love this shoe! I purchased these to wear for my summer job mowing in the early mornings at the golf course. They are perfect for that, keeping my feet dry in the morning dew as well as in the rain. But these shoes are so comfortable that I find myself wearing them most of the time in the yard at home, too! I always wear a size 12 shoe, so I was skeptical about ordering a size down for the Gumshoe. I ordered an 11 and a 12. The 11 turned out to be perfect.

Be sure to follow the sizing advice! In all other shoes/boots, an 8 is perfect, these in an 8, looked and fit me like clown shoes!. Excellent other than that, 7s with the sheepskin insoles and beans wool hiking/boot socks are perfect. Thanks for the excellent products and services!

They are great; wonderful fit and just what I wanted.

The med is almost equal to the wide that was available

A suprisingly comfortable shoe, great in the rain, or aftermath

High expectations for decades of use, based on my last pair whose uppers cracked after 30+ years of wear. The sizing guide is correct, my 10-1/2 feet w/standard socks fit well in these, even with my high instep. Would not want them any smaller thoughif I were going to wear heavy socks, would need the next size up.

My second pair great boot! Wear more than any shoe or boot I have. We do get a lot of rain.

Exactly what I wanted. I usually wear an 8, so I got a 7 and they fit great. Otherwise they're exactly what they seem to be - waterproof shoes. I got them for spring and I'm wearing them in the mud. They're perfect.
